sMiUI is a Custom-ROM-Project for Xiaomi-Devices that started in late 2014. It is based on the weekly Developer ROM, released by Xiaomi. Further we participate from the xioami.eu Team, which does a great job in adding European languages to the chinese ROM!

The sMiUI ROM-Kitchen enables you to choose and select only the Features and Mods you want! You can either cook a ROM with basic improvements, or pack lots of Design, Performance and App Features on top of it.

Center Clock Mod
This Feature changes the look of your statusbar. The clock will be centered and other notifications will appear on the left side. It is an iOS-like Design and displays the battery percentage next to the graphical logo.

CPU and Thermal Tweaks
Performance Mode is more powerfull and Balanced Mode is a perfect Mix between Performance and Batterysaving which will never heat your device! Heat can damage your device very quickly and Xiaomi unfortunately ships its devices with very bad thermal control configs. sMiUI keeps your device cool!
Modded System Animations
sMiUI enables you to choose between default and modded System and Screen OFF Animations. Enable this Feature and enjoy your phones display shutting off like an old CRT-Screen!
init.d Support

Well, he calls it "balanced" mode, but really, it's battery saving mode vs non-battery saving mode.

Get GravityBox [MM] from Xposed > Lockscreen tweaks> Disable Imprint vibrations.
I highly recommend NOT using this for anything else unless you know how the MIUI source interacts with the base code of android.
So far, I haven't seen too much difference between the dev rom except the centered clock lol. Honestly, the only thing that's nice is that I didn't have to flash Xposed myself + it has an annoying boot logo animation.

In settings "Headphones & audio effects" not working.. giving FC
Also in Sound & vibration - Audio setting not working...
New feature in quick ball to swipe to the edge of the screen to hide Quick ball is not available... this feature is available in Developer rom 6.9.8

how to install xposed? If already installed how to open-access it. I installed modules but I cant see xposed app.

I can not record the calls, the app crashes and no network for two second appears.
I set the external memory as the main memory, but I run a clean install.
The double-tap feature is not present in the interface and is disabled in emui file for.

If I try to record a phone call, at the end of the same, at the top left, appears no network for two seconds. I do not think losing the phone network....
I do not find the problems encountered on the B336 Stock on Twitter and Whatsapp: applications were closing and restart automatically when I wrote something.
To be a RC1 is already very good.

What is so complicated about install this ROM?
Simply install zip from TWRP and after that install from Google Play superuser app...
And that it...
About the ROM after 2 days of use i think is very good for daily use.
A problem is about short loosing network in two situation (in my case):
- after restart of phone
- after use of call recorder: call (incoming/out) is split in two parts, first about 2-3 seconds and second rest of call - appear in calls log)
On status bar i observe loosing network/no service, but call is not interrupted and in calls log appear two entry's for one call...
It's a little annoying but i can live with that...

- Possible due the "B336" but after restart it's normal signal lost due the MODEM it's inactive
- Call Recorder it's unstable but work... only the problem above... because it's a port... sorry

Great but it seems a little buggy homescreen in video. Anyway, good job!
Also i prefer light roms for playing games. Extra options = extra ram usage. = Fps drops and lags in game.

The battery icon is hide on the statusbar (just show the percentage), How can I show it? I have the a510M

I have the same problem as well as my keyboard not working and even crashing at times,also the dpi changer is not accurate as it sets different values than the one mentioned.

Also I would like to add 2 things:
First thing is that after restarting some options reset like auto brightness gets turned on although it was off before restarting as well as app shortcuts on the homescreen and app locations in the app drawer
Second thing is this isn't Android 8.0 Oreo,instead it's still 7.0 Nougat and I've confirmed that when trying to flash Xposed 8.0 beta version in TWRP as it said the version was wrong and intended for 8.0 while the current one was 7.0 so there's no need to lie about that,makes me very dissappointed(and for some reason it says Android 9.0 in the system info,not sure why but it's useless since you can change it to anything through a system file).
One last note,opening language input with the stock keyboard that comes with the ROM crashes the settings app and the fix was uninstalling the system's keyboard and downloading a different one.

1)Flash latest Orange Fox Recovery
2)Wipe dalvik cache, cache, system, data, vendor
3)Delete Android Folder on both internal storage and external SD card
4)Format Data (Optional, But if you dont format data there is chances of crashes like playstore etc)
(Click on menu button which is on bottom right side on recovery main screen, click on Manage Partitions, click on data, click on format, type "yes" , Drag the Slider)
5)Reboot to recovery

i found some minor bugs...
1.Reading mode is not working
2.Booting time is very long while compared with stock and i need sit back and relax(not only 1st,on every boot)
3.Control center is lagging sometimes,but it works good

You not did what we told in instructions, there is no issues what you reported

Wipe all your partition , except micro sd
Use orange fox latest and install rom then magisk
Reading mode is working and booting times is as quick as stock.. not a single lag is there In rom,
If you are facing it , its your mistake not mine.. many others are using it and nobody face the issues you reported.. so check yourself , don't report flase

I am not facing any issues which you mentioned,
First boot takes 8 mins, its common when you clean flash, after that 2nd boot and so on... Will be faster than stock rom.
Reading mode working perfectly
Control center is so smooth and no lags at all

3. Does Mic have enough gain? ( v4 had this problem, when using loudspeaker mic gain was really low every time, person at other end couldn't hear my voice properly.)

It have a seperate thread here in Xiaomi rom and kernel , kindly search and install

We made it stable like stock Miui, you can know about it yourself , there is a telegram group you all can join there for more help.. if mic gain create issues it can be increased but I don't think you need it.. if needed we can increase it..

You unable to login in Vietnam, then get any rom you have there on pie and replace your Xiaomi account app from that roms app.. maybe mi create different app for Vietnam.. :crying:
