Hey Guys,
i need a little advice to start porting LOS to my T819. I am new to the dev scene and therefore had only little experience in what to do exactly.
As base i would take a T815 build. For the radio part i would borrow parts from the Leeco Le 2 build. The Le 2 and the T819 both run with the same Snapdragon 652 SoC.
My question now is which code i have to take from the Le 2 build and merge it with the base to have a bootable and functioning T819 at the end.

I was confused between LeTv Le 2 and Mi Note 3 but then i choose to be with Le2 and i am stuck now with poor UI and Ram Management . now looking at MI Note 3 which has lots of modifications and awesome roms.
I hope devs will make some roms for LeTv Le2 or will have to change it
Never lose faith in yourself, just wait, if you chose Le 2 over RN3, there would have been some reason, have faith, developers are onto it. It's exams time.
The thing is le eco le2 released kernel source many times but every time wrong i dont know what's wrong with those guys. however we can expect soon the aosp rom as 2 days back the kernel source has been released and this was again via their official twitter account so i guess it should be true..

i hope few custom roms will come before i get frustrated with buggy EUI.

Soon we ll be able to see the rom developed on the cm14.1 for le eco 2.?

We have got cm13 working go check it out in the ROMs and kernel's

CM13 Aka lineage os has been ported. Few major bugs to fix. You can try that out if you want.

leeco is dead, fine, but however, other phones on the same soc(as an example vernee apollo)( https://www.xda-developers.com/vern...urce-code-for-mediatek-x20-based-apollo-lite/ ) has support to work with even 8.1 roms.

I'm waiting on the answer I tried more then enough and Aldo with the vernee kernel but with no success I hope some can tell us or maby even make ,one.
i bought a Le x620 (actually i bought a LeEco le3 but got shipped the wrong phone from china) and i have finally figured out how to get TWRP on it and a Lineage 14.1 test build but im wondering if there is going to be any further movement on this? i bought the Le3 because Lineage had a 15.1 build for it and i figured it would last a while. now i can either ship this phone back or hope that there is some movement to android oreo. any news? i have been searching for days.
Really There are so much of you extreme smart developers but non of you have build/ported a oreo ROM for the device leeco le 2 x626.
You all did such amazing stuff and building zo much roms but still not 1 fort this devices.
Please let there be 1 off you smart guys tot try this.
Iff needed someone to test the ROM because you dont have the device i can test it for you but please try it at least.
Impossible for the moment, it would be necessary to have the sources codes. Even by porting a ROM, it would not be possible because the stock kernel can not officially support Oreo.
As much as I vowed I would never get a single Lenovo product again, I recently realised what a fool I had been by accusing the recently released kernel sources for the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus of being incomplete without considering anything on my end such as gcc version. I realised that my gcc version simply wasn't able to compile the kernel sources right now because kernel compilation is working fine in an Ubuntu 16.04 systemd container vs the Ubuntu 18.04 host and containers where it errored out at topology.c. Now that we can compile kernels for the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, I'd love to see some custom kernels and ROMs for this tablet. It looks like it could become a good replacement for the aging Nexus 7 (2013) which even community support has to end for at some point. I'm currently downloading the LineageOS 15.1 source and am also compiling the kernel for the Tab 4 8 Plus at the same time. If I can get this kernel booted on Lenovo's Oreo ROM, then I may be able to see what I can do on porting LineageOS 15.1 and even 16.0 to this tablet.
