I expected the Note 8 SD to be capable of using Galileo GNSS satellites for GPS location, based on published specs.
Having tried various apps that claim Galileo, I have not noticed any Galileo satellite being received. I own N950U1, unlocked bought directly from Samsung.
Does anyone has different experience with a SD Note 8?

I am using mi4w 64gb Indian variant GPS is very poor in reception when comparing to other mobile which is a hardware issue.
But Also there is some config error.
The GPS is not using Glonass and Beidou satellite for location.. it just keeping it idle.(unused satellite)
Can anyone suggest me good config file for Glonass and beidou.
I have already used XDA gps config file no changes it uses maximum one glonass and beidou satellites.
I am located in India.

You've not mentioned which ROM are you on. This could be a ROM issue. Sometimes a clean flash can rectify the error.

GPS doesn't work that way, to pin point your location your device needs min 5 GPS satellite signals. Most of the satellites are US. Check out the screenshot, one Beidu is available and it's signal is strong enough so my device has picked up the signal and two out of five Glonass satellite signals has picked up. There are diffrent parameters are present for singal locking. Your hardware is fine as it's locking your position.

redmi 4x hardware not support 5Ghz wifi, only 2.4Ghz

The processor supports it I guess, but the WiFi card in the device only supports 2.4Ghz as far as I know.
Some cost cutting to make the device as cheap as it is.
as with many other things which snapdragon 435 support but is not enabled in redmi 4x
- specific 4g carrier bands
- quickcharge 3.0 (can be enabled in custom kernel)
- galileo positioning system
- 5ghz wifi
- etc etc
on the 5ghz wifi, am not sure if its just disabled by xiaomi or the 5ghz antenna missing (or there is dual band antenna inside phone?). so far no one make 5ghz wifi work on redmi 4x.

I think, it is problem of software, because 5GHz hotspot runs...
I see that the Snapdragon 765g supports WiFi 6 but the pixel 5 doesn't, can this be fixed with a software update or is there a hardware issue
I Recently brought a Galaxy Note 9 off Amazon in the UK. As it turns out the phone is a USA Variant and contains the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Chipset and the model number is linked to the USA Variant. Ever since i have had mobile data issues on the phone where it will not enable or i get no signal. I have tried resetting the network settings, restarting the phone, manually choosing the operator etc and still no luck. And when it was display LTE Or 4G It would not load any google pages.
