Zoom buttons for Google Maps?

Would it be possible to use tasker to display some type of overlay zoom buttons when using Google Maps (I'm thinking something like the floating Chat heads in Messenger)? Or are there any other neat Tasker tricks to make one-handed zoom easier (volume buttons)?

Unfortunately I'm stuck on an iPhone for the time being and can't play around to figure this out for you...But you should be able to use getevent and sendevent to record the script for simulating a pinch zoom. Then create your buttons and run the shell command when button is pressed.

Stock navbar and swipe gestures

Is there any way to have the navbar hiding and swiping gesture behave like LMT pie controls? Where you swipe up and the action is executed once your finger touches the button? The current stock way has an annoying middle step of swiping to make the bar visible first, and I'd like to eliminate it. Currently using LMT and while it works I prefer the "bar" style to the "pie" style.

How to toggle navigation keys via Bixby Button

So i have been using my phone in Immersive mode, love having the extra space and no black borders.
But i find swiping up to activate the navigation keys abit touchy sometimes, More so when browsing the web or reddit and i end up scrolling back to the top just to activate the nav keys.
Does anyone know a way to Re-Map the Bixby button to toggle the display of the Nav keys?
You could try BXActions from the play store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jamworks.bxactions . This may allow it or you can assign the button to a Tasker task.

Yes,
i agree with rob_h (above post) re bxActions.
See screenshots.
Unfortunately you must have the premium version (paid) of bxActions.
I use it and works fine. No issues.
You can either set it to toggle per app or otherwise.
No root required, only a simple ADB command on a pc.
Good luck

[Question] [pie] Remove home and back buttons from full screen gestures

I am trying to achieve gesture navigation close to android 10 on pixel devices. Using QuickSwitch and LawnChair q build and enabling Samsung's full-screen gestures, I've been able to get all the gestures to work. However, only the recent button is acting as the hotspot for gesture navigations and the home and recent buttons perform their original tasks. I am wondering if there is any way to extend the recent button to cover the full bottom of the screen and remove the home and back keys (maybe using adb commands or modifying systemui apk). Thanks in advance!
