Check your installation guide/wiring diagram. There is a wire your supposed to connect to the reverse lights.

NS homemade dock

hello!
I'm going to use my car stereo as an indoor one to hook it up via either BT or 3.5mm jack to my NS, but I don't want to spend on a Samsung dock yet, but I'd rather do some DIY... also, official dock doesn't have audio connector :/
So, is there a way to automatic set dock mode using the USB cable?
I remember something about using resistances in the plug, but couldn't find the thread :/
Any help appreciated

Nexus 7 with external webcam

Hello researcher,
Any one tried Nexus 7 with external camera with the help of OTG cable? or is there any way to achieve it?
Murali
Welcome to the forum, murali.trichy.
I'd be interested in knowing the answer to your question too.
I've been curious about this as well. It was done quite a while ago on the Nexus S but required a specific firmware mod and some command line work to get the drivers to properly recognize the camera.

You're right, I didn't read properly, my apologies.
The app I was referring to was actually below which includes media streaming:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zappotvlg
But if you want true mirroring then you'll need mhl, no app for it.

Maybe over wifi (wifi direct)? And yes, over mhl (usb to hdmi adapter) too... But be careful with adapter, because I think that must be with power connector (just with micro usb) on it too. Google&XDA are your friends...

galaxy gear wristband

i could not find any other thread on this so this is my question:
Is there a way to change the gears wristband?
it would be nice to do that if it was sold as a replacement accessory and one could do that easily!

Yes wires on the camera side but shouldn't be on the other side correct? I'm actually still using a watch extender haven't tried to see what was on the other side yet.

Benchmarks shoe my Note 9 not performing

I am curious as to why when I run the benchmarking app anututu on the note 9 I consistently get approx 168000 but when I ran it previously on the note 8 got 203000. Do I maybe need to factory reset my note 9 and then rerun and gradually install apps and see what is causing the slow down ?
