1st hiccup ive had!
next, the 3d flo options, how slow are they?! ive reverted to default WM6.1 layout.
is there any simple way to get GPS working? im pretty computer savvy so technical jargon u say u should understand lol!
also read about rom flashing, what info would i have to give you so you could advise me which one to get and flash with, also, instructions on how to do it would be wicked
have a good day

i get about a day of battery life with my ignito,
have you read some of the stickys on the rom developement page! i would recommend flashing UDk's ROMS only cos i am using them on my ignito!
try searching for "ignito stock ROM" within that section. i have uploaded a backup of my ignito stock UK rom if you ever need reverting back to the original!
From my own experience, battery life should improve after 10+ recharges. Also, if you want to further increase battery life, you can turn off 3G if you do not use internet on your mobile, you will get 2-3 days batterylife easily. Battery depletes in 5-8 hours if 3G reception is poor (1-2 bars).
dear senior members...i have a milestone and i did a CynogenMod 7 Rc 8 update....after that my my battery started draining....i did everything to increase suggested on forums to regain my batter life but it didn't worked!!!

You should post this in the CM thread, without the big, red, text.

LOL, your battery is just fine... try to turn off 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth, Sync, & decrease LCD brightness
still draining...
try flashing another rom .. miui or icenfire n c if u still get battery drain
best battery life u will get from cronosginger 1.4
What do you consider big draining?
For me RC9 last 1 and a couple hours with moderated use like wifi/call/game...
Let us know.

Why has squad chosen to use 604mhz over 600mhz? Does it make any difference?
And the battery drains REALLY FAST in this ROM. I just had 65% of charge and then in 10 mins 49%
practically it doesn't make any difference
and your battery will drain faster because of many factors e.g - if internet service is on
i have the same problem. even i am not using internet and the mobile data and wifi are disabled. it drained faster.
Try to charge your phone until it's 100%. Turn off your phone and charge it again (I'm sure it won't show you 100% and still charging). Wait until it's show you 100%.
i got my battery 4%. I charge it a few minutes (not more than 5) and I got about 40%. Wow. But drains faster.
I think it's the battery calibration which is wrong.

When flashing new rom better to calibrate your battery first,
or you dont know how to do it cause it seems like you dont know a thing you were saying,
may i ask you? How long have you been using squads rom?
Dont talk about battery life if you havent used the rom for a week
cause by then you wont see nor judge its battery life just like that,
and one thing if you have doubts, dont use the rom then. Lets just be thankful a guy like squad
is trying to hold on to this project and please this is a shout out for all you guys
stop comparing developers! Its not fair alright?! Anyways peace y'all

Dude you are over reacting. First of all I haven't compared any roms. Second I have been using the rom for more than a week. Have been using cm7 since RC1.

There are so many threads here dealing with your questions. Because .. you are not the only one. ... Why not search and read a little what's already there?
Hello everyone. As we all know that our p880 has never been good with battery backup but still iv tried many ROMs yet no good results. But as the phone is getting older it seems the battery is also losing strength. Is it suggested to get a new battery ? Will it make a difference ? Please suggest/advice
Thank you.

What do you mean by getting older, wrinkles? ... just kidding.. do you need to charge more time, or less on screen hours, never charging to 100% ?
My suggestion:
Try different roms *( Mahdi 2.9 preeti solid battery life, aprox 3 hours maybe more) alway do full wipe(factory, cash, dalvik, even format sistem)
Try battery calibration app from market (maybe placebo, but worked couple of times for me.. doesnt hurt to try)
AND CHARGE YOUR PHONE
Ask if you need somethng
Thank you for replying. It hasn't got any wrinkles yet ? but yes I have to charge it twice thrice a day and the SOT is 2 hrs max. I'm on nameless 5.0 right now. Is the Mahdi rom u suggested 4.x.x or 5.x.x ?
that is ok for 5.0, AOKP by Molthenmotherboard is most stable 5.x for me .. good deep sleep, and all.. mahdi 2.9 is 4.4.4, i also have to charge mine 2x day if i use it havily, i've tried different batteries and new ones.. no change.. maybe those bulky with 3xxx mah can make a change.
