TBackup will restore LG apps ?

Hi,
I have a stupids question, as i am going to flash a custom Rom (Fear edition F19) I did a backup with Titanium, I just have noobie question, when i will restore after flashing, will it restore all those LG apps too ? like car home , sns etc ? I only want the Apps that are provided in the Fear edition + Apps that i have installed myself + data
What should i do if it will install LG apps ?
Also another noobie question as Fear edition come with a launcher, will be backup replace that launcher if it is same ? Go launcher for example ?
Thanks for your help
Yes it will restore the LG apps.
But at the restore function in titanium backup you can check/uncheck which apps you want to restore.
You can always cook it in the modaco kitchen so you can choose what you want.
Or you can easily uninstall them easily with titanium backup even if they are system apps.

No, it will NOT restore the system apps from you backup. If your new ROM contains the same system app as a previous backup, it will restore the data for it.
TB does not backup system apps, only system data. Your user apps will be restored.
I'm not sure I understand the launcher question. Anyway, if TB restores a launcher, the next time you press HOME you will be asked which launcher to use.

Question for all the frequent flashers..

For those who flash their phones with different roms monthly, weekly or even daily.. do you manually restore all your settings each time you flash (since you are not supposed to restore app data with titanium)?
This is the only thing keeping me from flashing more than once or twice a year.. too much overhead work to get my phone the way it was before. Is there a way to avoid the tedious task of backing up my applications one by one?

Well i flash new rom weekly and i always use titanium backup. It works like a charm, never gave me any error. Contacts and messages i save on google account. The only thing i have to do manually is changing the display and sound settings. And in 10mins i get the phone working just same as before.
P.s: i backup only my own installed app+data not the system apps. And it works on every rom , even cyanogen and miui
Edit: and use titanium donate version, it lets you restore/backup apps in one go...
That problem may occur while moving from samsung based rom to cm/miui and only with some apps. If you just flash samsung roms there is absolutely no reason not to restore with data.
Give a try to Mybackup root.
It can restore your apps with one tap.
Or you can try to make a zip to push what you want in data partition.
Search "update.zip generator" in this forum....
Mybackup has tons and tons of bugs.
What are you talking about?
I've used last time i switched from JVT stock to cyanogen 175 build, and the only one thing is not working is opera mobile.
I'm using titanium backup paid version. Every time l use the apps + data restore without much ill effects. The only apps I don't backup is droidwall.

[Q] upgrade to rom ICS (titanium kackup)

hello everybody i have a question,if i would upgrade my darkyrom to a rom based on ics and if i would save all my apps and settings of these apps(for example savegame of emulator or data settings of poweramp),what steps do i have to do? backup of data+app or just backup of apps? or backup of only data? if i restore a backup of DATA in another rom with another firmware does it cause brick? thanks a lot for help
Your mileage may vary:
Restoring apps will probably be ok.
Restoring apps + data is flaky and you risk Forced Closures and other bad behaviours.
Make sure you make a nandroid backup of what you've got now, flash ICS, nandroid back it while it's still pristine, then restore apps via TB slowly and see what'll happen.
Another way is to reinstall the apps via Google Play account, after all, it has a record of everything you got from them. I know it can be a pain, but maybe you'll have a better gain. Clean install - clean app install
I hear you about app settings...try taking screen shots and storing on your microSD card/Dropbox/Google Drive...at least you have something to compare.
TLDR; risky restoring via apps + data via TB when going GB to ICS, sure thing is clean install and reinstall apps from Google Play.
I agree with this totally, nice idea about screen shots too

App/data backup and restore

So since scrosler once again has stopped development on CleanROM, I'm thinking of switching over to ARHD, but I am curious about restoring just the data from a nandriod made from CleanROM on ARHD. Will there be any major issues (don't want to lose all my txts and such)? Thanks!
You can back them up (texts and contacts etc etc) and they would restore with no issue Game data should have no issue as well if you use Titanium.

you can use AppExtracter to restore apps, sms and contacts from nandroid backups.
or, you can use an app like Super Backup Pro to backup Apps+app data, sms, contacts, calender and bookmarks. and restore them on your new rom.
I advice titanium backup if we're root

After flashing how to restore apps

Hi guys I've been searching but cannot find the answer. It doesn't make sense to redownload the apps. Do I have to backup using TiBackup than restore each app?
Titanium is a great way of restoring all your apps. Titanium is great at botching things up too if you're not careful!
The best way is to re download.
