Xiaomi Oreo & Android Auto

I have been using a Note 3 pro with android 6, and works perfect with AA, but now, with a Note 6 Pro, AA show half sized, with black stripes up and down, and touch screen does not work correctly.
I have been reading a lot of forums about it and seems that Xiaomi does not have any solution, only wait for Pie !!
All phones with Android Oreo have the same problem. F1, Note 5 pro, Mi 8, Mi 8 lite, Mi 8 SE...
Any other solution ?
It really sucks, my new phone and I can't use with AA.

Same boat as you... Xiaomi Poco F1: black bar without any icons on the car's display, car display flickering some times, and unresponsive phone lock screen until force rebooted... I'm already running a custom Rom (not MIUI) with Android Pie, so Xiaomi's 'wait for Pie' recommendation I'm afraid won't fix the problem until they decide to really look into this issue...

Bad Android Auto performance with Galaxy Note 9 & Honda Civic 2017

I upgraded my phone from Galaxy S8 ( SM-G950F) to Galaxy Note 9 ( SM-N960F) and I noticed really poor performance when using Android Auto with my car head unit. It was OK when I was using Galaxy S8. AA ran fine on the phone (Note 9) itself. Below are some of the things I noticed when using AA with Note 9.
Every button touch up to 10 seconds to load and sometimes will not fully load (animation stuck halfway) until I touch another button or hold and drag the screen.
Scrolling is unusable (hit and miss), difficult to properly scroll and select the item I wanted.
Voice control is laggy and may take 5-6 seconds to respond to my voice command.
Audio worked fine (Call, Spotify & Navigation voice).
I have tested with AA version 3.x up to 4.1, all shown similar behavior. My current phone OS version is N960FXXS2CSCB, running Android 9 running OneUI 1.0. I have also tested pairing my head unit with other phones (Xiaomi Mi 8 & Huawei P20 Pro) using AA version 4.1 and they were working fine.
I contacted Samsung, they have no solution too. Only says they will bring the case to their internal team to take a look, no further update from then (it was 2 weeks ago).

UPDATE: The latest update in May 2019 (Build N960FXXU2CSDE) fixed the problem

Instgram Doesn't save my stories

Hello every one ,
i have a problem with my mi 9 , that when am recording a stiry by instgram " and as you know , instgram storeis devide the video stories to 15s , but when am tryin to save them , i can only save the first story ! and the others give me error while saving !!
same when i upload a video to stories , it only uploads the first 15s of the video and the others gave me error can't upload !
have any one face this problem before ?
i've tried alot of solutions but it all doesn't work , and my acc works normally on my Redmi note 3 phone << and also my friend why has mi 9 faces the same problem
am on 11.0.3 and still the problem on 11.0.4

same issue on Mi 9 Global variant.. I'm on 11.0.3 and this issue has been coming since last 2 3 months or more

Temporary solution is to manually split your videos using app like Video Splitter for WhatsApp Status (despite the name, it's just generic video splitter, should work with any apps).

Slow Camera ?

I have very strange problem with my Redmi 9. Sometimes, I must wait about 3-5 secs before Camera App starts. I count from moment when I press icon to opening screen. But, thing is weird because sometimes works normaly.

P30 pro Vibrator no longer work

Hello ,
I am French and new to this forum.
The vibrator of my P30 pro no longer works.
It seems to me that this happened following the EMUI 12 update.
Is it possible that the update is the reason for this failure?.
I made an estimate for a repair and I was offered the replacement of the motherboard.
Is all this possible?????
Do you think that by flashing the stock rom, the phone works again.
