Whenever I go to recovery mode, it just shows a flashing red tinted recovery mode screen then fades to black with a red line on top. However, when I go to bootloader, there isn't any problem. I tried flashing another stock recovery image to no avail.

You can try
1. Reflashing the same recovery with the latest version
2.Try some other recovery
3.Try booting into recovery from pc using adb commands
4.If You are facing extreme problem then there is always the option of wiping eveything and reflasing everything again

I Have a similar problem as posted by someone else - but I can't reply in that thread yet so here it is:
Also SGS GT-I9000 - now stuck on white logo screen.
What I have done:
- phone was slow and very laggy so I wanted to install new ROM
- found out that 3bc didn't work so tried to fix that using a guide from SamsungGalaxySforums based on one from XDA (tried to post the link, but forum rules won't let me).
- now download mode works but recovery mode still doesn't.
- when rebooting without being attached to laptop it showed funny coloured lines first
- I tried this whole thing again and now my phone is stuck on white logo screen. Still able to get into download mode and flash, but no booting phone.
Any ideas? Should I flash a different bootloader?
EDIT: I had tried the Aries_P-SBL.tar.md5 bootloader and only got coloured lines.
Now using the EZboot-GingerBread-1.0.tar.md5 bootloader and getting a bootloader screen. Now making a backup of all my data first.
EDIT: After backup still hangs at white Galaxy S screen - so still no working phone! Ideas?
Turn off your phone and reboot into the recovery mode by pressing Volume UP+ Home + Power.
Then when in the recovery, select Wipe Data and Cache. Reboot when done. You should be up and running. Also, first boot may take a while so be patient.

It says in his post, recovery wont work, only download.
Sounds to me he has screwed up the bootloader.
Now you've done this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089989
I now suggest you boot to download and flash a stock rom using ODIN.
just flash stock Rom using Odin and than you can flash what you want
Yes I'm an idiot.
I've managed to get into a boot loop after trying to flash TWRP.
Any one have any idea what I can do? The watch just displays the boot animation over and over.
If i hold the power button it turns off and then on again.
Hope its not bricked
Boot into recovery and wipe all data & do a factory reset... should fix it.

How do I boot into recovery?
I managed to get into recovery by swiping the top right of the screen to the bottom left while holding the power button at boot.
I've done a factory reset in recovery mode but I still get the boot looping...

I do believe that the first step is to unlock your bootloader..which is done by going into ADB and typing
fastboot oem unlock

Yes I unlocked to bootloader first.
Still stuck in a bootloop. I can get into download mode, if only there was an odin flashable firmware available.
If I could get into fastboot mode I'd be able to flash TWRP again at least but I can't get the watch to respond to any ADB commands, even in recovery if I select 'sideload via ADB'.
EDIT:Just a quick FYI. I managed to get the watch to boot to three different modes. Swiping different directions on the screen. Top right to bottom left boots to a a reboot menu with download, upload mode etc. Top left to bottom right boots into fastboot mode (Yay). And finally, bottom left to top right loads some kind of debug menu.
Have reflashed boot, system and recovery and am still stuck. Ive tried both stock and twrp but it still just boot loops.
Fixed it by flashing this to system in fastboot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gea...wear-stock-root-busybox-t2834620#post54636406
Any one still bootlooping:
I rebooted the watch into fastboot mode by holding the power button until the watch restarted, continued holding the power button while swiping TOP LEFT to BOTTOM RIGHT of the screen.
I flashed the stock boot.img from adams pulled firmware, then flashed dess_troys TWRP to recovery then this custom rom to system.
The watch booted more or less straight away.
I really need help.
I've got my phone bricked and I can't even boot to flash mode or to recovery mode.
The last thing I've done is boot to twrp and clear data because I am going to change rom. But there is a certain error that pops up. and forgot what was it. After that, I try to flash the rom. But the same error pops up. If I remember correctly. e:ex4ts is not found? Something like that? And now. When I turn on my phone. The xperia logo still pops up. Then after that its only black screen. I tried going to recovery (power + Vol up + vol down) and also tried flash mode but nothing really happens. Its like not being detected. And when I try to charge it. The xperia logo pops up and black screen appears. The charging icon/animation is not popping up. Is there anyway to fix this? Please help. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Your phone is now bricked and won't boot into recovery. You need to flash stock rom via flashtool to recover your phone. Is that your phone's bootloader Lock?Unable to boot into recovery always happen in locked bootloader phone.
Use Flashtool to flash stock rom. But be careful to connect phone only when prompted. It should boot after that, then you can root phone again and try to install recovery again.
I have unlocked bootloader already. I think there is something wrong with the phone. I can't boot to flash mode and recovery mode. The screen continues to go black light. I've tried for more than 20 times already. But still. I can't go to flash mode. Can I go to flash mode by only connecting my phone to my pc?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1963961
use recovery img to flash via flashtool.you'll get your recovery back
Thank you so much for answering my query. I figured it out before reading this. Yes, I forgot how to use flashtool. I forgot how to boot into flash mode. I used the method in Samsung devices (All buttons must be pressed) which technically my mistake. Thanks again.
Hi guys,
I was wondering what if anything I can do to unbrick the phone. Currently when turning the phone on, the notification led flashes green once, the zuk logo flashes briefly on the screen and then it powers off.
Connecting to pc with volume buttons down in any combination does the same thing. The phone screen stays black and a solid blue notification led comes up with no change.
QFIL cannot detect the phone, neither can adb or fastboot.
The bricking happened while attempting to install a custom rom. I had unlocked bootloader and accessed root on the stock system, and wanted to try out a different rom.
Thanks in advance, I just got the phone yesterday and I'm really hoping it's not permanently bricked.
Hi bobtheball,
You should be able to select recovery mode at he beginning of the boot (push volume down when you have the very first menu, and then select recovery).
I assume you've installed TWRP to flash the rom, so once you're on TWRP, you can push a new rom and try to flash again.
What ROM did you try to install?

Hi, what my original message meant to say is that I've tried every recommended procedure that I've seen. Pushing volume down while booting does nothing. The screen does not turn on and all I get is a blue notification led. Because of this I can't access the bootloader menu to boot into recovery.

Hi, your phone act as if it had not enough battery to even present the menu. Try charging the phone for half hour before trying vol-down+power button combination.
I tried to install twrp in my Moto e5 (XT1944-6) device. I flashed the latest twrp image using adb platform tools. But when I switched to recovery mode, the TWRP logo appeared for a long time.
Instead of TWRP UI, a screen came called "Mount". It told me to enter a password, and a keyboard was open. There were 2 options " cancel" and "change language".
But I wasn’t able to do anything. Touches were not working. After a few moments the screen slept.
When I clicked the power button, a complete WHITE SCREEN appeared.
I was trying to go to fastboot mode, but it was coming to recovery mode every time. After a few try, somehow I switched to fastboot mode & restart my device.
Again I went to recovery mode, but TWRP wasn’t there. It was the stock recovery and still it is. Please help!

stock overwrites the recovery, you must change the rom to avoid it, and the password thing is called encryption and to remove it you must hit cancel, wipe format data and write yes [THAT WILL ERASE ALL YOUR DATA]
