Its the kernel that causing the issue. very old
Try different kernel like Arter97 but i don't think he support 9208
or try to go back to stock and install the latest firmware

Yes, you will loss root as its tie with the Kernel you have. You can look for new kernel that doesn't have this issue and root it because your can't root stock unmodified kernel

No I can't. Had to do a full reset, due to other problems than the update. If I thought about it beforehand I would have grabbed it.

My understanding is if you factory reset that update file is erased. I did a factory reset on my phone. Therefore, I can not obtain the file you need. Sorry.

Hello Chein35,
You say "Try factory reset first."
If that's under Settings / System/ Disconnect & reset I've tried that multiple times and i always come back to the October 1, 2017 Android Security patch level?
Or maybe you have another way of a factory reset? If so can you please let us know?

Hence the beta firmware you installed. Maybe you need to unenroll your device to get the latest stable build. Try this link to unenroll your device. I hope this will solved your problem.

Maybe International version still on October security patch.

Hello everyone and merry Christmas
I got an S21 Ultra and facing some Issues
Seems to be the Korean version with no esim and caller ID for incoming calls isn't matching the name since I have all my contacts in international format
I am reading this can be fixed by changing the csc but I have it fully updated and patched and stock
Any way to solve my issues, preferably without factory reset?
Thanks

It's a bug in Android 13. I did all the tests, even the hard reset, nothing to do. I also tried to change mobile operator sim.
I asked Asus support, but they didn't give any answer.
Downgraded to Android 12 and that's the only way it works.
