I replaced my mi5's battery with one of the nohon brand. Now I can get to 5 hours of sot. Through amps I checked if the quick charge worked, I noticed a 2400 mAh charge current, with the old original battery I got to almost 3000. Use lineage 15.1, every now and then update to the latest firmware dev. Any of you who has a nohon battery can tell me what battery is being charged through the Ampere app? thank you
i need 1.30 hrs
I have noticed the same 2400 mAh max with this Nohon battery, but it's not a problem for me.

my captivate is v2.2 froyo rooted w z4 and lagfix, My stock battery barely lasts me through a night at work,
I ordered a 3500mah battery from ebay and when i received it I charged it overnight with my phone off....
The next day was a miracle! Battery stayed at 100% for 2 hours, by the end of the day I still had 60% battery left!
I read that the first couple charges need to be cycled so i tried to drain the battery by playing a movie over and over with screen brightness and volume at max.....
the battery lasted forever, after getting it down to 7% I charged it overnight- sameway with phone off, but now nomater what i do it only lasts the length of a stock battery.
I tried unplugging, plugging back in, phone off , phone on, waiting hours after it says 100%(on charger overnight) and tried ac and usb charging, but it just isnt seeming to charge all the way.
I was going to buy a second extended battery and an external battery charger but all the external chargers i see on ebay say are only good for li-ion batteries up to 2000mah, plus i had to modify my otterbox defender case to support my new battery and it would be a pain to have to take case apart everytime i swap batteries.
Ive been reading for days about what to do to no avail, all the external chargers i see arent rated for 3500mah capacity and I wouldnt mind flashing a custom rom that would support extended battery charging but the more research i do the more confused i get.....
Is there a kernal out there that is stable and supports charging these batteries with no bugs or issues????
What custom rom would be best?
please help......
any info is greatly appreciated

Hi everybody,
I had a problem with my original battery. It dried every day in about 10h of usage. It was horrible, so I bought 3500 mAh battery from ebay and it was OK. I didn't had to charge my battery for about 2 days. Really impressed if I compare this battery and original, but problem was, battery from 3500 mAh was really big and made my phone look ugly, so I bought new battery. I've bough new Onyx battery with 1400 mAh and battery drains in less than 10h. I used my phone for about 2-3h and battery was on 4%. I haven't played games or downloading anything. Just chating. Does anyone know what's wrong? Is that normal for onyx battery or can I do something to improve battery life?

you can buy an original battery for your optimus 2x =)
I'm using accubattery to monitor my batteries and after many hours of charging / battery data it days my battery capacity dropped from 3300mah to 2896mah. I think that extra 400mah makes a big difference because my phone can't last a whole day.
Anyone changed their battery with the generic batteries from eBay? Any recommendations?
Thanks
So I got my 5G last Thursday and have been use it alongside my XS Max (so it is not primary phone). Ran down the battery to auto shutdown and fully charge to full with phone off. I have a DROK USB Type-C Digital Multimeter (Amazon: B07448SCN6) in the line during charging so it is measure from the outside and not a phone app. The meter will auto stop counting when current draw is less than 0.1 A or 0.03 A so battery is guaranteed 100% full. The charger is an Anker 4-ports charger with IQ-something that doesn’t support quick changing on 5G so charging is limited to 5V 2.4 A max although the phone stayed below 1.2 A most of the time.
1st charge: 4:30 to charge 3790 mAh / 18.97 Wh
2nd charge: 3:35 to charge 3890 mAh / 20 Wh
Both numbers are quite below the 4500 mAh typical number on the actual battery so I test charging the 8 months old XS Max and it took 2:39 to charge 3120 mAh / 15.65 Wh. The phone turn itself on after plugging in and draw a constant 0.1 A (over 0.03 A phantom draw) after fully charging so I deducted 100 mAh from the 3120 number to 3020 mAh. That’s reasonable as XS Max’s battery is rated at 3174 mAh and losing 150 mAh after 8 months is not bad.
I’ll continue to monitor future charging to see if the number gets better but 600-700 mAh off rating is a lot. I know people in S10+ forum complaining about charging app giving them 3600-3800 mAh figures but that from an app and not an actual in-line meter. Hopefully it improves to at least 4300 mAh
I have 4235 mAh on mine based on 36 charges, it has always been around that on every charge, so definitely not 4500mAh. However the battery lasts longer than on the P30 Pro by a good amount, so I am OK with that. I would feel shortchanged if it were the reverse.
I have been using Accubattery Pro, and I believe it said initially that the phone's capacity was 4300 mAh. I manually changed its capacity to 4,500 mAh as advertised, but it's never been over 4,300 by its measurements. It's showing that its at 4277 capacity now after 34 charges. I have accidentally fallen asleep with it on the charger twice and let it charge to 100%. Every other charge session has been to 80% (+/- 2-3%). I'm a pretty heavy user, and I've only been close to powering off once at the end of the day, and that's after a charge to 80%. I've been pretty fortunate. I will say that I did not have the same success with the S10+ I had for a week or so before I returned it to pre-order the S10 5G.
Guys, i bought this phone just before 15 days and i observed that my battery reaches around 3800 mah only on full charge. Is this kind of behaviour normal? Shouldn't it reach 4000mah when i charge it to 100%?
