Hi,
Is there any way that i can transfer my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 messages to my Redmi Note 10 Pro?
I tried to use Mi Mover but even if i already transferred the messages to xiaomi, i cant see it in my messages.
also, i tried to use samsung smart switch, but when i open the app on my redmi note 10 pro, it only says that i can transfer from my redmi to another phone, no option that i can transfer to my redmi
Use "Super backup & restore" application that logo green on playstore.
backup your sms through the app and copy the application file from file manager to your pc then your Xiaomi or send it by bluetooth or whatever.
then install the same app on your Xiaomi device then simply restore them.
note: The backup file of the app is on your internal storage when you copy it you should put it also on internal storage of Xiaomi otherwise the backup file won't showup

Simple and reliable way is to insall and take backup of SMS and Call Log using the app called SMS Backup & Restore
Then copy and paste the folder named SMSBackupRestore on the Internal Storage of new phone and restore.
I have been using it for many years without worries.
Cheers!
use google sms it should work
Sorry for the delayed reply. If Mi Mover and samsung smart switch can not work well, try other ways. Usually, we can transfer text messages between android phones via Bluetooth, Google Backup, SMS Backup & Restore, or mobile transfer like MobileTrans, Coolmuster Mobile Transfer, etc. About the details, please search online. Hope this will be your help.
You can use the SMS Import / Export app to transfer all your SMS and contacts you have, and the call log between phones. It generates separate .json files for these 3 categories. You find it in the F-Droid Catalog, which is available to download from f-droid.org.
Hello people at XDA, after I have researched about installing Custom ROMs and Rooting my Mi 9T Pro a few weeks ago I finally turned into DotOS as my daily driver and it's a really well made Custom ROM, but that's not the main subject here, I had to wipe all my data to change to another ROM (which I knew before doing so) and start from scratch for some stuff except media, what's my problem is that I lost 400+ quotes and many other notes in Mi Notes and I couldn't restore them in the custom ROM even though I had a MiUI Backup for it, I'm here to know if I can get my notes back any way possible like converting the notes into text/html so that I can import it into another Note taking app, and I also restored the Backup on another phone but there were less than 400+ quotes (305 to be exact) and Idk what happened to the rest even though I'm sure I backed them up when there were 420 quotes.
Thank you for reading and hope you help me with this issue.

You could install MIUI Notes from apkmirror.com, but don't know how could you restore data
MIUI provides Mi Cloud for easy back-up and restore (there is also Mi Mover to transfer from one phone to another), but people who switch from stock to custom ROMs usually don't care about MIUI, their apps, services, etc

I would do that but I can't actually restore the backup hence it's a .bak file that can only be restored in Xiaomi Backup settings and AOSP ROMs don't have that except Google backup, I searched for every possible way but couldn't find anything to solve it or even convert it into another file type to import it in another app.

I think that .bak format is a well known format for Android device not just Xiaomi ones, you can use ADB BACKUP with a PC to backup the app notes only with his data and right after restore it using the same way, he will keep the data and the app.

Hi,
This is the problem of new whatsapp versions.
You can try to install old one (before 2.21.9)
To do that you need to change the date.

Is it a whatsapp issue? Isn't there a newer beta version that fix it?
HELLO, Guys, I'm using a Samsung note 9, and recently I got deleted my data from Samsung secure folder and secure folder recycle bin. is there any way to recover those data?
Unless it was backed up by your Samsung account I don't think so.
Any old SmartSwitch backups? Not sure if it grabs that or not.
Problem description:
All photos deleted from internal memory, using Windows connection.
No root
No unlocked bootloader
DiskDigger Full Scan doesn't work (no root), Basic Scan found nothing.
Redmi 8 (M1908C3IG)
MIUI Global 12.5.3
Android 10 QKQ1.191014.001
any ideas for a solution?
thx
Hey, when you used DiskDigger, did you choose the "Start Basic Photo Scan" mode? If you can't recover them back via DiskDigger, check if there is a backup of the deleted photos on Google Photos, or can you find the deleted photos via Photo Trash Bin. If no, you need to ask for help from a pro shop or software like Dr.fone, Coolmuster Lab.Fone for Android, Easeus MobileSaver, etc. Such software need you to root your phone before using it. And you also need to make sure the deleted photos are not being overwritten by new data. Good luck to you.
