I bought a mi 8, it is in MUIU Global 10.2.2.0, when I took a picture in Instagram, even when in silence mode, it makes a photo sound, is it a bug?
i just bought my k20 pro and i noticed if i put video recording on 60fps a lot of noise and artifact comes on screen. do I have a defective phone?

It's the same as taking a photo in low light, at 1/60 second. That's too quick and you'll have a noisy photo too. Set the camera app to Pro mode and set the speed to 1/60 and take a single photo, with no gimmicks or AI, etc. and see what it looks like.
this is how it looks like on video. only bottom half has noise. if i put it on ultra wide noise goes.
and if i leave it on when it noisy it freezes and says can't connect to camera
Also noticed the noise is there even in perfect lighting . And after 10 seconds it freezes.

That doesn't look good. Are you on an official ROM? Have you unlocked the bootloader?
Is it just on the display you see that, or does the video it records contain the noise too?
Does it take photos OK?

i just received the phone. it's all official. it's on the videos too. pictures are fine also 30fps videos. anything above 30fps has the noise. I think I'm gonna return it.

Seems like a hardware issue, mine is not showing any noise that you have in any lighting condition.
Also i have some other problem, can you check on your device that :-
I noticed that front camera is making face red while clicking selfie, if i cover my face then camera is showing actual colours, but when it recognizes face in the frame it automatically turns the face red, i also disabled all beauty footers but seems there is something wrong with camera software, because gcam port is not showing red face in front camera, can u confirm if you are are also facing this issue or is this alsp can be a hardware issue

it didn't make my face red. if gcam doesn't do it then it's surely software related. the video issue for me happened in gcam as well.

Then definitely you have a hardware problem. That's Strange, it means my miui camera app is buggy, don't know what to do now [emoji20]

This is a very annoying problem i never had with Samsung!
The proximity sensor doesn't work well and the screen doesn't turn off properly on calls or WhatsApp calls! Am i the only one who experiencing it?!
I have the same problem with the proximity
sensor in my mix 2s. You should check first in your call settings if the function is actually activated, after that you could take a look in the CIT menu * # * # 6484 # * # * (input via the dial pad) where you can test several sensors.
There should be no hardware proximity sensor but a sofware based implementation, like in Mi 11:
Xiaomi Mi 11 does not use a physical (hardware) sensor for proximity, but an algorithm studied by Elliptic Labs which uses speakers and microphone

Good to know it's a known problem since it's been impossible to use the phone... i keep turning things on and off while I'm on calls, it's annoying as hell
Same. That's really the only issue I have with the phone. I noticed that if I talk and the screen doesn't turn off , I just move it away from my head and bring it back. Looks like a software issue rather than hardware.
I have already updated the phone with the latest system update and it's currently on MIUI 12 Global 12.0.8.
With EIS enabled, it is very grainy, but improves a little with EIS disabled. In normal daylight, video recordings seems fine, but in a room lit with warm toned lighting conditions (~3000k), videos are grainy.
I have compared it to Alcatel 1S (2020), Honor 10 Lite, moto e6 plus and even Xiaomi's own Redmi 9, the video recordings are much much cleaner.
Does anyone know what the issue here is?
You'd have thought the Note 9 would beat all the above?
I have also done a factory reset (which incidentally removes some apps such as AliExpress, some Google related apps amd the Games drawer? Anyone know why?
My redmi note 10 pro occurs another issue. Now, the speakers are not working. Sudden it just stop working. I noticed it when I played a game then try to play videos on fb and with the caption "audio failure, restart device?". I restarted it but still the same. Rear camera and front camera are not properly working. Stock camera app closes after taking a photo and when switching to front camera it will open the depth camera instead.
