Ever since going to the Pie Beta on my US Unlocked Note 8, I have had Issues sending and receiving Picture messages. I've tried through the native messaging app and Mood messenger. Sometimes the picture sends but it's hours later. Never had this issue before the beta. Anybody else experiencing this or know of a way to fix this?

Hey guys, I'm having a SMS timestamp issue since rooting and installing SenseUI rom and CM rom.
Note, this did -not- happen on the stock n1 rom. I'm currently in China using China Mobile so I haven't been able to test this back in the states (TMobile) yet.
Basically, when I send a message to anyone (android, iphones, etc), their received timestamp of my message is 7-8 minutes in the past. Obviously this is quite the annoyance for threaded messages on smartphones. I can replicate this by sms'ing my own phone and the timestamp of the received message is 8 minutes before I sent it.
I've tried everything I can think of. I've even nandroid restored my original backup and the issue is still happening. I've turned on/off the "get time from network" settings, updated radio and redowngraded, tried 3-4 different roms, but nothing is working.
Anyone seen this before or have any ideas? Frustrating the hell out of me!
anyone have any ideas?
Hi,
on my Lumia 920 I can not receive any facebook messages. I tried via the messaging hub, the (horrible) Facebook app and IM+ Pro. None will receive the facebook chat messages via wifi or 3G.
I tried soft resetting, hard resetting and now I am going to try and flash a new firmware.
But I can seriously not understand why it wont work. I can see people online in the messaging hub and I can even send them messages, but I will not receive incoming messages on the phone.
HAs anyone else have such an issue? What did you do to solve it?
regards

I would wait for a couple of days. I am experiencing the same issue like 3-4 days back... It looks like FB did some updates, I know they threw out a v 6.0 version of their app for iPhone. And that happened 3 days ago - maybe its some compatibility issue... I think it will be resolved in several days.
Well, it started to get better, now I get almost every message again in the message hub. Only from one contact I do not get them at all. Not sure why.
Same issue
I've had the same issue with it not working for 1 contact, its gotten quite annoying :/
Does anybody know if a reset fixes it? I'd rather not have to if possible
I'm experiencing a strange problem. I recently upgraded to a note 3 and my wife recently upgraded to an iPhone 5s. Ever since these upgrades my wife has not been receiving my SMS messages. She is able to receive MMS messages from me. Others that have the 5s can receive SMS from me. Had anyone else experienced this?

you didn't de-register from iMessage..you have to do this otherwise it'll keep going to your inactive apple acct..the geniuses over at the genius bar didn't tell you that I suppose
I don't think this is it. I had a Note 2 before upgrading to the Note 3 and I didn't experience this problem with the Note 2. I've been on the phone with AT&T tech support on this issue and they now suspect something is wrong with my wife's iPhone 5S because they can see the message getting sent from my device (Note 3) to her device (iPhone 5S) across their network. Yet it doesn't show on her phone. Actually, just yesterday my wife received all of the SMS messages I've sent to her over the last few days all at once -- something like 24 messages. So far she's been receiving my SMS messages as normal now since they all came in at once yesterday so I don't know what the problem was. Tech support wanted her to do a factory reset on her phone, but she didn't do that because it would erase all her text messages.
UPDATE:
I'm pretty confident I know how to duplicate the problem now. This seems to happen when I turn on SMS support in Google Hangouts. I'm using Hangouts build 2.0.217 and as soon as I enable Settings->SMS->Turn on SMS in Hangouts I experience this problem. I have no idea why it happens and why it happens only for a specific phone number. I've turned off that setting and am back with using the stock messenger now. I hesitate to turn it on again because it usually takes a few days for all the messages I send to get to my wife's phone.
Anyone experiencing MMS failing to send or receive on Android N? I was fine on dev 3 and when I switch to stock messenger I'm fine although I don't get any notifications that it doesn't send or receive like i get from Textra.
I've tried the manual settings in Android and in Textra and even turned off wifi to try it but it doesn't work. A reboot will work for awhile and then eventually it'll fail.

I know this is a year old but just in case you or anyone else is racking their brains out re: MMS failure to send or receive - looks like a Nougat issue that can only be rectified by a carrier firmware update:

Thanks. I moved over to pulse SMS since it allows me to get texts to my smart watch while away from my phone and on the data connection on my watch.

It's working up until it's supposed to send. WeChat keeps saying message failed to send.
Anyone have a clue or a workaround? It works fine in other apps but I've had the issue with WeChat since the beginning, I was hoping it would be fixed but so far nothing. Maybe it's just me?
