I am briked my mi a2 trying to enable the camera 2 api, first, i unlook my bootloader, then i used the "Mi A2 toolkit with rom options" with option to enable the camera 2 api, but does not work, and briked my phone.
I am already use the miflash tool to flash the last stock room, the process go to the end, but continuis in the boot loop. i also tried to the manual flash the last stock rom, install until the end, but when i restar the phone it go back to the boot loop.
I dont know what to do.
please, help me.

Update: After many hours, the manual flash stock rom android 8 works, but when i apply the andoid 9 update the boot loop come back.

Hi Peoples,
I am getting bootloop after flashing China Dev, China Stable or Global ROM. My MI5's boot loader is already unlocked. So I don't need to flash via EDL mode. So far I am seeing below scenarios:
* Flash successful without edl mode - MI mi.com logo coming then suddenly restarting to the same state and again showing mi logo.
* Flash successful without edl mode - MI mi.com logo coming then ..... android logo coming then again looping the same thing. After couple of same loop then only mi logo looping!
I tried Mi Flash tool from fastboot ROM section, I tried another Flashtool from the en.miui forum and lastly I tried MiFlash Beta. But the same scenario.
I have also seen several times that, after flashing phone went to edl mode itself and could not be ON and none of the button combination works. Then I had to Flash again. However, still in boot loop. This is crazy!
Please help me out if you can!
Got the same problem - but i did not yet flashing any ROM, my xiaomi mi5 fall into boot loop after reboot (I did not changing any settings, or smth else).
Maybe someone can help in this situation? (my bootloader is locked)

Hello everyone, just get frustrated right now my brand new 5X Half-Bricked after trying to flash stock fastboot firmware of the A1 through EDL with mi flash. just over excited of this devices, as i'm not a new one on this stuff and things, so that i ignoring some post said that the mi A1 rom won't run/boot compatible with 5X. (some interesting post right here about 3 Variants Hacked Bootloader http://en.miui.com/thread-840402-1-1.html)
I put whole things needed togather (fastboot firmware of A1, and Mi5X, also Twrp and some of unbrick zip from the thread above) so i was thinking when everythings gone crazy and bad i just need to reverting back to stock fastboot firmware of MI5X and everything works fine.
i do backup my QCN file so the worst thing i losted the imei and baseband i just need to restore that backup. Then i start the stupid things with proud.
flashing the Mi A1 sucessfully without any error on mi-flash then power it on boom, as i predicted it won't be as easier and simple as that step. some error text appeared on my screen some related to bootloader things, okay i just go into fastboot and unlocking with type "fastboot oem unlock" done with success and thats also said in terminal. okay then i rebooted (no panic at all), so the warning text still, then appeared your system has been destroyed, okay than i put the mi A1 recovery and flashing that through the fastboot, its said error no such partitions "recovery"??? (bit panic here) but trying to type "fastboot boot tissot.img" (tissot the codename of A1) its boot and send me into recovery, flashing some A1 rom for 5X from xda still won't boot at all (start panic here ).
so everything i try here flashing stock miui also won;t even boot and see the homescreen. I give up and OK i just need to flash the stock 5X through EDL, rebooting to edl and then flashing the stock 5X and success flashing done without any error, so i rebooted but its only stuck at MI logo then restart itself (really PANIC), so i get into recovery (stock MIUI) and mybe wiping whole data and cache will help, but there's no changes still restart/rebooting itself , okay i need to flash again this time i downloding Develover versions, and put the devices into edl through test point this time (as now the bootloader are relocked after flashing the stock one).
after flasing done the device still won't even boot at all just stuck at MI logo, now i really need help anyone any advices will really help, thanks

I think you should not unlock the bootloader using the command fast boot OEM unlock,you should go to http://en.miui.com/unlock/ here and download the app to unlock it, and when you flash a new rom which is not miui,you must keep it unlock,do not fastboot OEM lock,that will cause it can not go into system and stuck in logo

Nope, that's the basic things and i really know how it works, As for now i''ve no ways to go / reach the homescreen at all, so i can't put my mi account in setting and linked the device into my acccount, its useless using the miunlock tools. And i can only do that commands right after i converted mine to A1 firmwares.
hi, finally, i know what problem you met, because i have met the same problem, the solution is ,you go to the fastboot ,first unlock the devices, then fastboot reboot,then you find you go to the system, then you go back to fastboot,and last ,you need to use the miflash to flash the rom,and it should work fine now,it seem when you are locked,the miflash can not really work

Hi, it happened to my mi note 3. But not able to unlock in fastboot or mi unlock tool (prompted me adb been blocked by other program) . It's good if you able to help me. Thanks in advance.

Use the mi unlock tool ,you can only unlock the phone when you are in fastboot mode,,turn off the phone,press the power and volume down bottom simultaneously,and you will be in fastboot mode

I have a little problem. A couple of days ago I soft bricked my phone,and there was a boot loop. But fortunatelly today I found the solution and now my phone working again. But I would like to revert everything because I cant uptade the system. When I uninstall the Magisk,and I restart the phone, I fall into the same problem,I got the boot loop and a lot of things. So I know the solution how to get out from the boot loop,but how can I restore my phone? I want to make a clean install and lock the bootloader.

Unfortunately It's not working because the bootloader locked. And I cant do anything in fastboot mode. The only working command is fastboot boot xy.img. With this command I can boot my phone.

Perhaps using test point to force edl and flash the rom thought miflash.
I accidentally flashed a MiUI 10 ROM with miflash onto my CC9 which has bricked my phone as it was previously on MiUI 11. My bootloader is now locked because I accidentally checked that option in miflash so I can't just fastboot flash another working ROM. I tried putting the phone into EDL mode using the test pin method, however since I did that once, it will no longer go into EDL mode again. Is this normal?
If anyone knows or can point me in the direction of someone who can unbrick my phone it would be much appreciated.

Can you access fastboot mode? If so, you can try unlocking the bootloader again and installing the rom you want. If you haven't removed the mi account it will unlock and you don't even have to wait the required time again.
Unfortunately since I bought the phone off AliExpress, the seller had already unlocked it so their account is bound to the phone rather than mine. I have managed to get the phone to boot into EDL mode by the test point method but I don't have an edl authorised account to flash a working ROM. If anyone knows someone who could help me out with this I'm more than happy to pay them for their time ?

Download the latest fastboot firmware (MIUI 11) for your mi cc9 (not mi 9 lite). Don't grab the recovery.zip firmware, it's useless and will give you errors.
When you finish your download, unpack your .tar firmware twice and flash it with MiFlashTool while you are on fastboot mode. (Power/Vol-).
Next time, ask before flashing not after !

What kind of firmware are you trying to flash trough MiFlash ? recovery.zip or fastboot ? Can you take screenshots so people can know what is your issue ? Without screenshot no one will help you here !

I tried to unlock it and I also get a message "please add your account in miui settings > developer options > mi unlock status"
But i can't get out of recovery mode so I can't change the settings.
I tried to unlock but failed and also attempts to flash in EDL mode failed.

Few days ago my phone was totally dead, even charging not working. You need to flash firmware with edl authorized account in edl 9008 mode, firehose programator require verification before write ?

I have a xiaomi mi 9 lite and it is in bootloop I try to turn it on and the MI logo appears for a second and it goes off I can't go into fastboot or recovery I already opened it to do test point and flash but it asks me for an authorized account If someone here has an authorized account that can lend me I will pay for the rental of the authorized account please help with that.
This guy helped me. He uses ultraviewer.net for remote connection. 1722 rubles for flashing.

Le: how did you bricked it? I restored an older backup of android 9 over Android 10 from twrp. But from what I understand cc9 doesn't have rollback protection.
Le2: you can also try those fishy 710 firehose no Auth loaders you can find from various sources. Didn't worked for me but you can try.
If you flash Revolution OS or flash Android 9 over Android 10 rom you have good chance to hard brick device so you need to flash first fastboot rom if you want to go from 10 to 9

I assume you have fastboot access.

Suddenly my phone is stuck on mi logo with the android logo on bottom for 2 days now.
I downloaded a frimeware for mi 9 and trying to flash it with mi flash software but its never completed the flashing.. it keeps counting the seconds for 3h and nothing happend.
(I added a screenshot above)
I tried to flash a new rom but its says the bootloader is locked.
Im afraid that development mode is not turned on so i can even unlock it and the phone is not booting up for it.
There is something eals to do or use it for door holder ? ?

I have an experience like that,
step1: but first try to flash the exact ROM was before this happened. it must be fastboot one. if no success try the next step
step2: if you are lucky and have been Bound mi account in the developer menu you can unlock the bootloader and flash any ROM for your device. if no success try step 3
step3: unfortunately maybe you need to flash ROM via EDL and authorized account.
