How much?
The phone is out now month but no custom rom or full working twrp (china twrp is the best working). I think whene you need custom rom go to Oneplus. Good dev support. Xiaomi have no dev support. There is also gsi rom but gsi is not good and i dont like this roms.

I used Oneplus 6T , but Oneplus 7 Pro is overpriced. I usually switch phones between 500~600$ every 6month. So I think Oneplus 7 Pro is a no go for me,
Apparently qualcomm only just released the source code for SD 855, on CAF. Without the source code, no real development, unless it's GSI or xiaomi firmware based.... If oneplus had released a phone months ago with the SD 855, it probably wouldn't have been much different, apart from oneplus stock firmware being much better to begin with
I still remember when I got my oneplus 6 it took a good while for the first aosp rom came out, before that modded oxygen OS only and mods etc, so I think we need to be patient, cheers

Oneplus 7 vanilla is cheaper but I doubt that will sell way less than mi9. Devs wont be making custom roms there. Whoever used 6T including me wont be getting op7 its the phone with bttr chip.

+1 :good:
Give it time and you'll see custom roms. For now, you can use GSI or MIUI. GSI is pretty good with working Fingerprint even. Personally using AOSiP GSI and it's good for what I do.
Randomblame is working on something let's see and wait for it.
Yes just bought Mi9. Looking for pixel rom too
Sorry for stupid question, I'm just move from WindowsPhone, but can somebody explain why Pixel rom? In a few months will be here Android Q, so if I flash beta Q now, will be the differences between Pixel and Mi9 after final Q version?
Thanks

I'll try to make it simple.
Android system has many versions, these are incremental. From Android 1 to Android 9, and Android 10 in beta right now.
Each Android version has a name :
Android 6 = Android Marshmallow = Android M
Android 7 = Android Nougat = Android N
Android 8 = Android Oreo = Android O
Android 9 = Android Pie = Android P
Android 10 = Android Q???? = Android Q
These are the original systems made by Google.
It's like Windows 95, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10.
Now the beauty of Android is that anyone can customise the base/original system to whatever he wants. That is what big companies like Samsung is doing, or Xiaomi (MIUI) or OnePlus(OxygenOS) etc!
And there are smaller developer teams that build their own to the community, one of them is Pixel ROM.
Pixel ROM is available for Android O, Android P, etc depending on the phone model and what the team wants to build. Of course there are other custom ROM, many great and Pixel ROM is one of them.
Differences between Android Q and Android P? There will be, but Q is still in beta.
When Android Q will be out, I'm pretty sure there will be Pixel ROM Android Q. Right now it's Pixel ROM Android P.
However, Pixel ROM is not available for Mi 9 yet! That's why people ask for it. It's not easy though, you need developers, they need to own the phone, and Xiaomi needs to share the source !
Ok, thank you, it's clear now. My misunderstanding was that I thought, that Pixel is name of phone and not a name for custom ROM.

Actually you are not that wrong. The Google Pixel phones have a ROM called "Pixel ROM". And the goal of "custom Pixel ROM" is to be like "Google Pixel ROM" + bonus!

Hey guys,
For a while we are all waiting for the official Android 10 update.
But I'm feeling kinda tired of waiting for it. I am not a person that flashes new roms, new software frequently. That's why I'm looking for a custom Android 10 ROM which has no major bugs and can take me a couple of months without flashing any new ROM.
Which custom Android 10 ROM would you suggest?

It is supposed that Android 10 will arrive in the second or third week of December, please don't ask me how I know this or where did I get the information, I'm basing this in previous upgrades for the MI A1s and MI A2s.

Thank you all in advance.

If you need a stable daily driver, I can only advise you to stay on Android 10 until 11 gets out of alpha phase.
Slowly features will come to 11, of which you for now will probably miss one or another in comparison to your Android 10 ROM also.
Switching to a ROM in such an early stage isn't something I would generally advise against.
If you are willing to accept bugs and can live with a minimum of features, installing and reporting about alpha / beta builds will immensely help development.
But you said you need a stable daily driver, so, yey.

Well, in the first phase of a new android release all ROMs
- Are basically the same (pure aosp with different branding)
- Have no additional features to pure aosp
- Will have many issues to sort out in general and for the respective device (like bugs, fast draining, random reboots, inconsistencies across versions).
- Might conflict or not be fully compatible with third party software (gapps, Magisk, any random app).
Any of these points might be the case still, so I wouldn't advise anyone expecting a stable daily driver to use android 11 for now.
None of these points has to apply though, as time for development passes.
If you want to urgently try out an 11 ROM and you don't heavily depend on your phone's functionality, why not do it? I also did it (and moved back to 10).
The question anyone should ask him- or herself though is: Which advantages do you expect from it?
That is, other than a higher version number...

Thank you for all those informations. I was hoping Android 11 would bring more functionality, stability and smoothness, but it seems to me rather the opposite. There is also no more security patch for Android 10 looks like. Everyone is working on Android 11.

What I'm saying isn't android 11 specific, but counts for every instance in which a new android release comes out.
It has been the same with android 6 and 7, then with 7 and 8 and so on.
Android 11 might bring functionality, stability and smoothness. But it is too early in development to expect all of this just yet, is all I'm saying.

Someone made a magisk flashable zip for color os for AA to work in op9 pro tg thread a long time ago will try to hunt it down. Are you rooted?
@Serjgor
If you are rooted you can try this it is not my work and was made for op9pro color os android 12 don't know how dated it is.
What he did was pull the files in the module from oxygen os if I remember correctlyif it doesn't work I can try to pull those files from my system eu oos 12 op10pro and repack a new magisk module for you. This one won't work on mine it's in a different location. Pulling and making a new one.
Re-uploaded with location from op10 pro oos. Please try
It's because still new? or the Developers look at the user is still too few?
Anybody could answer this? Thank you
There's custom ROMs coming, hopefully soon.
There's a few factors for why none is out now but main reason is that the device is still pretty new and has official Android 12 coming which would cause a lot of additional work to do if the ROM developer started with Android 11.
