The "Xposed module updated Reboot to activate changes" notification popped up on two of my devices around the same time (~ 0900 GMT Sunday). But no app / module was installed or updated! This happen to anyone else?
I could not find anything helpful in logcat or xposed logs.
Yes, it happened to me as well. I did a reboot and everything looks OK, but I don't really know for sure.
I am probably being paranoid... I am a bit worried that some malicious module triggered the notification and restarting will activate it. So no restart for some more time while I try to figure out what happened.
Check the xposed log lol

Is there a way either through the stock settings or an Xposed module to disable the "Dock is Connected" notification? This person had the same proablem, but the setting solution mentioned no longer exists.

Okay, so I found and installed the "Disable Desk Dock" module from the Xposed Module Repository. Seems like it's working (i.e., preventing the Doc is Connected message from re-appearing all the time); however, it also seems to be preventing Day Dream from activating. The screen only dims. I can manually start Day Dream.
Does enabling few xposed modules has an adverse effect on phone battery?
Ever since I have xposed modules and enabled modules such as:
apm+
adblocker
ad power menu
appopsxposed
clean lockscreen
deny location
disable carrier popup
ex-themer
gravity box
noyify clean
on/off switch name
screen tweaks
screenshot delay
smooth system progress bar
softkeysfade
ultimate whatsapp theme engine
xperia camera enhancements
xstana
I feel that battery is draining fast.
Can it happen due to above enabled modules?
Everything is possible, perhaps one module has a problem keeping your cpu awake?
Or it's the combination of two modules who don't like each other?
Does the Logfiles show anything suspicious?
Have you tried apps like betterbatterystats or batterysam to monitor app wakelocks?
Actually my WiFi is draining too much battery so want to know what could be causing it. I always keep GPS/Location/account sync etc all turned off forever. I dont have facebook and hangouts etc. I only use whatsapp thats it. I want to know detailed statistics as to what wifi is connecting to or where is my battery draining. So what app can be used to measure?

Ok. Yesterday in Lucky Patcher in Toolbox option, inside Patch to Android option my friend did "signature verification status always true" And "Disable .apk signature verification" and now it says Patch applied. I want to remove that patch but it gives no such option or check box to do so. How to do that?

You cannot do anything that modifies the phone when there's an overlay, and I can't find a way to fix that, besides disabling the overlay for a while. If it's a HW overlay, you can't watch videos, and no matter what kind of overlay it is, you can't install apps. Is there any chance a mod can be made that will change this behavior?
Hah .. I wondered why nobody posted such a request .. good I found this
I second the request.
On this Huawei phone I have it is completely unclear what to do when the message about a screen overlay appears. It is 100% trial and error to pick the right app from a huge list. I rely on overlays a lot since I use tools that simple need overlays.
Hope someone cann get rid of this security request for us (non programmers) .. or maybe point us to a module that already handles it.
Cheers
I also miss the way to get rid of this annoying overlay thing.
This message stops you from giving apps access permissions. So I assume it would already be helpful to have some kind of script that saves that specific display overlay state of all apps and then allows you to toggle all on/off at once. After applying access permissions you could then restore the state you formerly saved.
Does this sound feasible?
+1 (Xposed module?)
Very annoying with many apps which uses display overlay!

Good news .. just check the repository for "Overlay" .. tested and works :good:
Yep but now iam on nougat without Xposed
Any hint to disable this without Xposed (sideload installing apps; apkmirror)?
OK, managed with Tasker shell am stopservice <package>

Instead of trial and error method, just go the app permissions yourself and enable the permissions manually.
There's also an app at the Play Store to deal with that.

there is a module called NoOverlayWarning for this particular purpose/REQUEST
Heh, I was going to mention that module also but for some reason assumed the folks here knew about it but maybe it didn't work.
I use it on MM. Haven't tried it on Nougat yet.

Hi all
I recently noted that since the last Spotify app update (8.4.43), I can't barely access anything on Spotify despite my premium (legal, in case you ask!) account.
I mean for those who use it, all the daily mixes are not showing, I can't search any artist or anything or I get a "you're in offline mode" or "something had went wrong".
I'm using Xposed 90.1b3 Magisk module for a few things, mainly gravitybox, on a OP5T wih OOS 5.0.4. When deactivating Xposed Magisk module, Spotify is working fine again...
Is someone else experiencing the same problem ?
I guess Spotify is now asking for safetynet but I would like to know if there is a solution, as I don't use Xposed to pirate anything. This is not fair for honests users imho...
Thanks for your time

I have no idea, but people who are currently trying to use modified Spotify apps, started using xPrivacyLUA Xposed module. Maybe it works for you too, at least temporarily.

It's on another forum.
Just delete all data from Spotify, and tick all options on that Xposed module for Spotify

Thanks. That didn't help sadly... I'll stay with previous version for now :/
In XPrivacyLua just turn off tracking and sensors for Spotify.
For those who have the problem, xprivacyluna isn't the solution
You probably have "Adblocker Reborn" which block Spotify , disable it and it's ok
Hi,
I'm having some issues using edXposed on Android 11. As soon as I enable a module I can't open Chrome without it closing a few seconds later. The Google app works fine.
If I disable the modules chrome runs without a problem.
I have three modules enabled: edXposed manager, FingerFace and Exi for SwiftKey and it doesn't matter whether just one or all are enabled.
I've tried adding chrome to the blacklist and I've enabled "pass safetynet" but still nothing.
Any suggestions to what I should do?
Peter
I'm not having any issues, so I can't test this myself... but I heard about people turning off "Chrome Custom Tabs" in the Settings. Reading what it does, it doesn't make sense as to why it would cause an issue... but it doesn't hurt to try.

Thanks. Unfortunately it didn't work. It's very strange - now it worked for a period of about 12 hours and then it stopped working again. No changes, no reboot.
You have to turn off app list mode in exposed for Chrome to work normally.
