I bought a mi 8, it is in MUIU Global 10.2.2.0, when I took a picture in Instagram, even when in silence mode, it makes a photo sound, is it a bug?

I recently went to a couple of concerts and recorded some videos of the shows, all of them had terrible audio, I can't really describe it but it's absolutely terrible compared to every other phone I've ever had.
When I take some pictures with my Mi 8 Miui 10.1.2.0 Global the face recognition turns on and my smartphone takes around 10s to take a photo. However, when I touch the screen to focus the camera, the face detection keeps off and the shutter is fast. All of this happens only on flash modelo. Does anyone knows how to turn the face detection off?:silly:
I am bringing to notice about a wierd issue with the pop up camera on k20 pro.
Whenever i use the selfie camera ,it's quit and has a gearing sound which can't be heard if you don't listen to it closely and it's normal. But i was testing the fall detection feature of the pop up camera and there i noticed something wierd. Whenever i drop my phone and phone detects fall it retracts the camera as it is supposed to but after retracting it makes a sound which is something like gears jamming with each other. It is audible and doesn't sound normal.
Try it out guys and let me know if this happens with you too.
Perhaps it would be appropriate to indicate also which Rom you are using, on the PE there is a little issue with the frontal camera in switching between video / photo mode, that produce a noise same as yours, in MIUI 10 it works regularly.

Please report back after disabling pop up camera sounds & upload a short video if possible.

The camera won't pop up when sitting in a low light environment. Example: I get a WhatsApp video call in my room during the day where the environment light is lower. I can receive the call but the camera won't pop out until I move the phone towards some brighter light. This also occurs if I switch the camera from back to front between the video calls. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Never faced such problem.
Try to clear app data of camera and reset whatsapp and try. Could be problem with whatsapp
I have already updated the phone with the latest system update and it's currently on MIUI 12 Global 12.0.8.
With EIS enabled, it is very grainy, but improves a little with EIS disabled. In normal daylight, video recordings seems fine, but in a room lit with warm toned lighting conditions (~3000k), videos are grainy.
I have compared it to Alcatel 1S (2020), Honor 10 Lite, moto e6 plus and even Xiaomi's own Redmi 9, the video recordings are much much cleaner.
Does anyone know what the issue here is?
You'd have thought the Note 9 would beat all the above?
I have also done a factory reset (which incidentally removes some apps such as AliExpress, some Google related apps amd the Games drawer? Anyone know why?
