Back to OREO - Xiaomi Mi A2 / 6X Questions & Answers

Hello Guys, Is it possible to go back Stock Oreo from PIE December update without any bootloop in Mi A2?

Yes, I did it. I've just used the flash_all.bat of the jasmine_global_images_V9.6.16.0.ODIMIFE_20181030.0000.00_8.1_5e098a2c1a.tgz file
Aaaaaand, in the worst case, you can use a deep-flash cable (you can make your own with a regular usb-c cable) to reflash oreo in EDL mode.

My a2 fastboot disappeared

My MI A2 crashed on the home screen, so I thought to use the flash mi and put the rom stock in it to get back to the original, I had root and bootloader unlocked.
I used the xiaomi aplacative and installed the original rom, it worked but my fastboot mode disappeared, instead it's just a black screen.
Does anyone know a way for me to recover fastboot? I want to use gcam, for that I need root.
I think I'm in EDL mode which I entered to install the stock rom, but now I do not know how to get back to the fastboot.
Send pics i had the same problem it's black fastboot And mi.com logo
If you are in EDL mode, you could flash stock via MiFlash.

Your fastboot should be working fine eventough it only shows black screen. If you flashed stock in EDL-mode it leaves splash partition out and that's why you have blank black screen in fastboot mode. You just need to flash splash.img in fastboot mode using code:
Code:
fastboot flash splash splash.img
.
I was able to solve the problem
I was able to solve the problem, I used the toolkit for the MI A2 provided by the friend "Daha3ker", I used the version V 1.0.5. This tool literally revived my smartphone and returned it to stock rom, until I was able to upgrade via OTA to the February update.
In the Toolkit menu I used option 3 (UNBRICK / REVERT TO STOCK). I want to express my thanks to Daha3ker for developing this tool and thanks to XDA.

Full brick after downgrade (Android 9 to 8)

I was using Android 9 and did an unsuccessful downgrade to Android 8 via HiSuite. Now my phone is completely "dead", the screen and the LEDs give no sign of life. All I can do is get into fastboot mode. No matter what I do, the phone is always in fastboot mode.
(1) I already tried to flash lld-board.zip with this, but to no avail;
(2) I tried to flash an Android Pie firmware, but to no avail;
(3) I also tried to flash an Androd Oreo firmware, but without success.
Does anyone have any advice? DC-Unlocker + HCU can revive my cell phone?

Xiaomi MI A2 Bricked, Bootloop. Can't get recognized in fastboot and EDL mode

Hello guys, so, today i was trying to install miui 9 in my mi a2, then later going to update to miui 10. I was trying to install by flash mode (XiaoMiFlash) Everything was going fine, until my windows accidently turned off for updates (RIP). When my pc turned on, i was desperately opening miflash as fast that i could, but then when i try to install again it was saying "cannot recieve hello packet". I tried to restart it thinking that would fix it, but its just stuck in a MI logo with mi.com screen(Bootloop). I was trying to unplug usb cable and then putting again trying to fix it, clicking refresh to see if it appears, but it doesn't. Same with fastboot mode, doesn't get recognized. I really need help to fix it and sorry if i wrote something wrong, english is not my native language.
Same problem happened with me today. Any Solution?
Are you able to boot into fastboot?
Something similar happened to me once with the A2.
I somehow too managed to interrupt some update process and got stuck in the same scenario.
I could resolve it by getting one of these now superseded fastboot stock files with some installer scripts in them.
The scripts also wouldn't work, but I could install the firmware files one by one manually, following the script's content.
First off though, you could try to get into fastboot mode (as mentioned before), boot the official twrp img and flash the latest firmware zip file from here
Then you could go ahead and flash miui for the A2 like any other custom ROM (or did you just post in the wrong section and actually got an 6X? - seeing that you used miflash, it really seems like it..
Just in case here is the right thread for downloading miui for the A2: A2 miui port)

Phone stuck on fastboot

Hello everyone! so my redmi k20 pro which had a mi9t pro rom on it fell into some water. First it was ok and after a few hours it shuted down and now it stays on fastboot mode all the time.
The problem is that I can't get my 2 computers to recognize the device (tried with adb and xiaomi mi flash tool). Any suggestions before I just throw the phone away?
edit:
I managed to flash a stock rom with Mi Flash but the phone keeps going back to fastboot and I also tried to flash twrp but after the flash the phone goes back to fastboot. Any suggestions?
Any one?

Huawei p10 Hard brick

I was so obsessed with the Harmony OS. So I was trying to convert my phone to Chinese version I.e From VTR_L29 to VTR_AL00 I downloaded the stock firmware of VTR_AL00 trying to install it with CHIMERA on the process of installing it my phone hardbricked and won't even charge when I connect to power but my pc recognise it in Fastboot. please help
can you still access fastboot? if yes use flasher.bat (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uMrmObOb78_2dp8I6rVEOJ1s9Dg8QJDs/view?usp=sharing) extract it then just run the .bat
i rebranded mine to harmonyOS without facing brick etc. i just simply flash CN oeminfo.img then force flashing FW VTR-TL00 using Hisuite-Proxy Emui9.0>9.1.0.210>emui9.1.0.219>emui9.1.0.228>emui9.1.0.231 then harmonyOS(take note dont jump over to harmonyOS when updating it always start with .210-231, dont skip any!)
