my redmi 4x Sensors aren't working. So I want to restore a persist twrp backup of a working device. Can somebody share this with me. Thanks

Is your persist partition mountable ??
First try to mount persist partition if it will mount then try to flash persist.img via fastboot
Or if failed to mount then flash Fastboot rom...

I cant flash it via fastboot. I get a missing rights error.
But i can restore it with twrp.
I have Nitrogen OS installed and dont want to reinstall the Rom and all the apps

I fixed it by backing up everything and then installing miu dev and recovered the backup without the persist partition.

When I connect Mi A2 to my Wi-Fi in the first time it will connect nicely but when i disconnect and reconnect it won't connect its just stay in obtaining ip address... I need to restart Mi A2 or Wi-Fi to be able to connect again. . I tried to connect my other devices to my Wi-Fi and it works great.. .Anyone here knows a solution? I'm having a love-hate feeling with this device as it's quite buggy
I had a problem with the wifi too, but in my case it was with range. I solve it doing a factory reset

Hmm okay that's odd. I get wifi issues with 9.0 when I'm trying to use Magisk. Else, wifi works fine.

Flashed the patched boot image through fastboot. Is there a way to use TWRP? Coz the last I checked there's no way to flash to slot_a since we boot twrp to slot_b...

In TWRP go to reboot there you can switch between slot a and slot b.

Yes. But does it actually flash & patch the slot a boot.img? Because each time I tried, it patches the slot b boot.img.

hi guys
after restoring twrp backup (data and system)
WIFI is broken, no way to make it work again, even restoring persist backup from twrp or flashing the original persist
not either deleting file contect of wifi_mac.bin in root/persist
does anyone know how to make wifi working again after TWRP restore of data and system?
differently TWRP is totally useless for backup in Mi A2 at the current state.
hello, since upgraded from miui v.9.7 to v10 portrait mode on rear camera not working. i tried fastboot flash again and still a bug. anyone can help me or confirm it is a bug ? (v10.0.2.0)
I'm using Xiaomi.eu's beta MIUI 10 ROM & portrait works as it supposed to :/

you need search how to install and use fastboot
i think flash persist in fastboot mode can solve your problem
persist.img is in the rom file , you should unpacking the package and find it
I've got same problem, but I also have my camera options switched betweend rear and front.
Flashing persist.img doesn't help.
I was in Bliss ROM and wanted to do a clean flash so I wiped system, data and cache and installed ROM, Gapps, Disable encryption zip and Magisk but when the ROM booted the android setup crashes and didn't go past there. I flashed again following the instructions for that specific ROM but the sensors didn't work only the camera so I flashed a persist image but now not even the front camera works, how can I fix it? Please help

same here.. after flashing the persist.img file all sensors are working fine now except the front camera.. it's not even working for once!

i am using an indian variant. tried flashing persist.img from both 11.0.1.0 & 11.0.4.0 but nothing happened!
ufff finally it's working!!!! again flashed the fastboot rom 11.0.1.0 & after calibrating 3times it's working fine now <3

yes flash that fastboot rom & calibrate your camera.. this option automatically it will pop up! i hope it will fix all those sensor related problems.. if still there is any flash the persist file directly

yes clean flashing the whole fastboot rom will automatically flash the whole package!
