Back to Android oreo

I'm on the latest pie with December patch and everything is stock (locked bootloader and no root) so i wanna go back to stock oreo with keeping everything stock (without unlocking bl). I'm not a noobie i used to have galaxy s6 and have a huge experience about flashing stuff but it's totally different here with the mi a2, so I'd be pleased if anyone helped me

Hi elprince.
There is a workaround on this forum saying it is possible if you unlock bootloader and critical using MiFlash. Here:
How to revert back from stable pie to oreo?
However, Xiaomi blocked downgrade capabilities from Mi A1, A2 and A2 Lite on Pie Update and doing this could even brick your phone:
Xiaomi disables downgrading from Pie to Oreo on Android One devices, Here’s why
Warning: Going back to Oreo after upgrading Xiaomi Mi A1, Mi A2, or Mi A2 Lite to Pie may brick device
If you are an experienced guy/girl, take your time to read those links and downgrade if you think it is worth it...

question about the updates

On my mi 9 lite, the latest update found is 11.3.4 under android 9.0. But why the latest version under Android 10 is 11.0.3.0? Is it safe to dirty flash from 11.3.4 to 11.0.3.0? Is it possible through the updater app? Thank you in advance for your answers.

Question mi 11 ultra in miui 13 eu rom, How to install Magisk

Hai, How to install Magisk and root mi 11 ultra ? I have chinese 11 ultra, rom latest stable miui 13 andorid 12.
There is no proper instructions in the internet for the latest andorid 12 version of our phone.
Please help.
Same video will work for Android 12
It's the same. Just extract boot.img and patch it using magisk then flash it via fastboot. I believe that boot.img file in the latest miui.eu 13 rom is around 192mb. Just updated mine last night
