Same problem bro
It's happening because you have installed custom roms. When you install custom roms, you need to re-calibrate your battery (not everytime you install but sometime when these type of battery drainage symptoms appear in your phone).
So to solve this, install a battery calibration app. Try this app Root Essential s.
Follow the instructions as mentioned in the app.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
For the last week I've noticed that in the morning when i unplug my phone from the charger the battery percentage shows 82%, although the phone was connected over the night with the charger.
The idea is after the battery is fully charged it begins to drain, but never when i unplugged the phone in the morning (after a night spent plugged with the charger) the battery was drained (or so drained).
If i don't unplug the charger when the battery is fully charged, the battery starts to drain.
I've used the home charger, car charger and the usb.
Did this issue happened to someone else?
This issue happened because I've deleted the battery stats?
Sorry for my english.
This issue happened because I've deleted the battery stats
Unlikely back up data and factory reset as first step .
jje
1. Do a factory reset
2. Turn off phone
3. Charge till full
4. Delete Battery stats
5. Drain till autoshutdown
6. Charge till full again.

yes, i'm on gingerbread 2.3.3 (darky 10 5.3), and i don't know why is happening this because i've installed the new rom with the battery full, or maybe i thought that the battery is full.
i'll try to recalibrate the battery and see if it works.
I have the same problem. I am on gingerbread as well
Just plug in again till it says charged and do it again after, mine is the same jvb.

Hello everyone ....
I have a problem with charging the battery on my HD7...
When I leave the phone on the charger overnight ... the morning shines green light 100% battery, but after a few minutes show a lower value ... eg 90%. During the day, the battery drain is normal.
When the phone on the charger during the day and when the battery is charged (quickly turns off the charger) ... there is no effect of the rapid discharge of the battery. The battery is drained properly.
I concluded that the charger charges the battery to 100%, and then turns off. The phone starts to use battery the rest of the night. The phone is still on the charger. I think that is not normal behavior of the phone. My Trophy has not worked in this way
I use Nextgen 2.0 rom. and battery status v4.1.0
I wonder, the battery is bad or the software or something else.
thank you

I solved the problem by buying a new charger

No need, look at the bottom of his post - he fixed the problem with a new charger.
I had similar problem, changed to new one.
when u leave the phone on the charger overnight, what happens is that th ephone fully charges. to 100 % and then the charger shuts off. but the phone runs on fthe battery especially if u have the radios or wifi on but the indicator thinks that its still on the charger ...but the wifi radios ect is using the power
when u unplug the phone, the battery drains down to actual level aka rapid draining
I think battery or charger should be the problem but probably battery. pretty cheap on ebay
hi everyone,
I have issues with charging the phone, it takes a seriously long time to charge the phone. When the battery was at 20% I plugged it in to charge overnight(8 hours) and it only charged to about 50-60%. I've tried plugging it into both the wall outlet and computer and still have the same result. Could the problem be the battery, charging cable or that it is running on a custom rom?
any help would be much appreciated thanks
kind regards
Was the phone powered off ?

How long have you had the phone? It depends how often the battery is charged and recharged. Try to wipe battery stats in the recovery or recalibration to see it helps. Or it could be the battery is no longer holding the charge. Time for a new battery.

No the phone was on but should that effect the charge time that drastically?

Only had the phone for a couple of days because its a second hand phone and like you suggested I've wiped the battery stats but that didn't solve the problem.
The phone does hold its charge so I'm concerned if I buy a new battery the problem would persist.
thanks for your suggestions
regards
Some Roms are battery hogger.
Sometimes, screen is working but not full light and you don't notice reloading.
Sometimes, battery loader is damaged and loads really slower.
My Rom is a battery hogger, and my Data cable is a bit damaged ^^ If I don't power off my phone, It won't load enough to be noticed.
About a month ago I bought a new battery for my Millestone.
The problem is I can't callibrate it. I tried everthing. Both methods deleting batterystats.bin, removing and inserting the battery in a variety of combinations. Nothing works.
The thing is the Milestone charges to 100% and after about 12 hours it shows 1%. Phone works for another day or even two days showing 1% and blinking red.
When I go to OR the battery level seems to be normal as it should be.
I installed even fresh ROM. That didn't help as well.
I'm using CyanogenMod 7.2.4b with custom kernel via 2ndboot. Please help!
Is it an authentic Moto battery or a 3rd party?
Maybe you should try disabling the 1% battery steps option in the Milestone Settings.

It's an original Motorola Battery. I'll try disabling 1% steps. Good idea
No. Turnning 1% steps off didnt work.
How do you charge your phone? Do you use a wall charger or you connect the phone to a computer? From what I experienced, the voltage that comes form a wall charger may be different than from a computer. In case you use your computer to charge, switch to the wall charger.
Hi.
I charge the battery +-24hour. Battery arrive 99% after 2hours and stand 22hour on 99%. I tested it 4 times with powered on phone ( all bacground apps are killed) and with powered off ( if battery reached the 99% then stay on 99% and charging charging). I tested with original charger, then with other chargers. If i see on the battery
information, the battery have max 1000mAh. What the problem. Software or hardware? I very sad with this situation. Can you help me?
Thanks for your help.
