As per this Twitter post, Magisk Dev topjohnwu has already rooted the upcoming Android Q before any official builds have even become available.
This is good news for those with devices slated to get the upcoming Android Q, ensuring day-one access to root-support, especially for devices with unlocked bootloaders.

Ok
5.0 isn't the latest!?!?!?!
what so strange about it?
of course they are working on 5.1;
they are already working on 6 too, but they are in very initial phases probably
This is seriously not news, we'd expect that to be the case unless they have fired the entire dev team.
Guys Saw this great news that Google is still working on Android M developer preview for Nexus 4

Nice, I wonder what doesn't work
Supposedly it works but we need to have someone modify gapps it seems, Nexus 5 6.0 pico opengapps
Thanks. It's already posted in the General section http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/android-m-makolive-t3220666
For it to be in here, the developer would need to post it and also provide some sort of support

As always, the One UI beta program will begin in late Q3 and early Q4 on Samsung devices. At that point you can join by clicking the banner on Samsung Members or by downloading the OTA file as a .zip for manual installation. I don't know if anyone can extract that .zip file this year so that some members can't click on the join banner when they are in another country?
