It seems that somewhere I lost the LTE. I think I lost it when I lost the IMEI while flashing stock nougat. The interesting thing is that I fixed the IMEI issue flashing Pixel Experience. I also have here 3G and it works like a charm, the issue is only with 4G. I tried several ROMs but seems not be the problem. Do anyone know how to solve it or have an idea??

Hi,
I bought my wings about a year ago, and have been a happy user since then. Out of the blue, my device started to loose 3G signal, or it displays full strength but I am unable to connect/call/receive. 2G instead looks fine.
It was really unexpected, the problem came up overnight. I did not install any new software neither have add any change whatsoever. I was still using the original factory ROM (never changed).
Still have the problem, though I have tried everything I can/know. I have even upgraded the device to the new ROM by HTC, which is supposed to improve the 3G connectivity and nope nope nope.
Help would be very much appreciated
Thanks!
btw, forgot to say.
It is likely not a network problem of my provider. I have tried my phone in different areas without any success. Besides, if I test my SIM card with another phone with 3G capability, it works fine. And of course, trying another SIM card in my s730 doesnt solve the problem.
HELP!
There is an official radio update from HTC wich adresses this problem.
Check the HTC site

thanks. tried twice already and absolutely no change. Right after installing it, I can connect to the 3G for, say, 30mins/1hour. After, the network is lost, or well I do see the 3G connection but I cant call/receive. Trying then soft rebooting, and the phone connects to a 2G network. No way to have 3G connectivity. I am pretty disappointed. I am thinking of swithcing back to nokia. I have already contacted by email the HTC service.
Dunno, anyone has/had similar experience?
looks like I am not alone:

Hello,
I recently (5days ago) updated my topaz to the latest energy rom (after a HardSPL) and everything went fine.
After 2 days I noticed I didn't have any signal anymore so I was unable to make/receive calls. The signal worked before and now suddenly it is gone.
GPS and Wifi work like a charm but I can't get on a phone network. When searching for networks it finds all the networks in the neighbourhood but when I try to register to it, it fails.
I tried like 5 different radio roms with no success. I even tried to go back to the stock rom and undo hardSPL with no success either.
What could be the problem and maybe someone has a solution for this.
Greetings,
Devillino
What happens when you select your carrier after initial flashing of the ROM?
It's solved now
Want to the a service center of the carrier and it seemed my simcard was outdated.
Guess I was lucky having this problem right after replacing the roms
They replaced the simcard and everything is working fine now.
Has anyone else ran into this issue? I have read about signal problems on the T-Mobile devices but from what I read it didn't matter if you were stock or not. I have service through Verizon and I have flashed both paranoid and PAC Roms and have had signal issues with both. Once I go back to stock though everything is dandy. Just wondering if any other Verizon users have experienced this.
MANY HAVE THIS PROBLEM AS I CAME ACROSS MANY COMPLAINTS SIMILAR TO MINE DURING MY BROWSING. SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER.
My xiaomi mi3w suddenly quit connecting to 3g network even when it is available. I tried switching to wcdma mode from settings as well as by forced method. The sim card works fine with other phones. I tried factory reset, booting back to stock version, updating, etc. During the time glitch started I was using global developer ROM miui7 . I didn't do anything unusual. I can see my imei no: from settings.. what to do? It's serious..
I have a dumb question.
Have u tried setting the right APN settings?

were you able to resolve the issue?
I received this "new" phone back in December, since then I experienced tons of issue with regards to random dropped calls and slow/nonresponding/inaccurate gps navigation I am currently on a custom rom, Khonglohi v11 but even on stock rom I also experience the same issues. I have followed multiple tutorials and have used multiple A-gps resetting Apps with the same result. I even went to the xda discord and mods were stumped by this issue. Im thinking this is just hadware related. Anyone know how to get this fixed? I have already tried different sim cards and it's not the carrier Tmobile. Thanks.
