Hi guys, i finally decided to install a custom rom in my moto g 2014, so here i am asking you what is the best rom, i've seen this http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-t2993932
and i think it's good, but i've not read all the 370 pages so maybe there are some problems or maybe there is a better rom...
sorry for my bad english and thank you all
You have to find out which is the best ROM for you. What is important for you? That it is stable? Or good battery backup?

If many features are not what you're looking for, go for cm12. If you want as many customizations as possible, I'd recommend you blisspop, carbon ROM or PAC ROM.
I personally like less customization, for examole Slim, tesla are little customized, Aosp is the uncustomized Android nexus like experience, all have nice performance, stable and battery backup
I would recommend you AOSP. It's all clean, ready to provide you the best performance a ROM can give.
But if you want some customizations to play with, I HIGHLY recommend OctOS. This ROM wasn't highlighted as many others around this forum, but I guarantee that you will receive a good performance and a good bunch of custom features
thank you guys, all this answers were unexpected, this is a beautiful community

It definitely is. With custom kernel you have more features like double tap to wake and so on. I'd recommend Optimus kernel or spirit kernel.

Both kernels have a feature list in the thread. Have a look at them and then decide which kernel has the most features that you need, or if you need a custom kernel at all.

Wjat is best rom for Oneplus 3T and why? But I want rom where xposed is working.
No ROM is 'the best'
You have numerous options to test and see for yourself which one suits your needs the best. You can go either for stock (based) or AOSP ROMs, it's all about what you are looking for. Also no choice is bad here - all ROMs for 3T are of really outstanding quality and not a single one will let you down. Just play around for a couple of days, try out different ways to go and pick your favorite.
If it's about me - latest stock rooted with Magisk is just enough. Oxygen OS is supremely optimized and the system is almost pure Android but with all the essential flavors AOSP lacks.
Fully agree with the previous comment. If there was a "best" ROM for everyone, we would all be using it, and there wouldn't be a need for any ROM except that one. What features are important in a ROM, is going to vary from person to person. The performance and stability (often a question "which ROM has the best performance?") is also going to vary drastically depending on how you as an individual use the phone, apply further tweaks, etc.
Your best bet is to browse through the ROMs, select a couple or few that look like they meet your preferences, and flash them, and try for yourself (be sure to make a TWRP backup of your current setup before flashing any ROMs, so you can easily revert); and see what works best for you.

No i don't have, bought this phone on this week's monday. Immediately rooted and flashed twrp, Now I have Resurrection Remix, but it's little bit buggy and not filling my expectations. (Sry for bad english)
I'm looking for a really good ROM, too.
Stability, everything should work fine. Don't want to clean flash every few months.
I don't need to customize every colour of every object. Need a perfect ROM for using it every day.
Any recommendations?
best rom official rr or the one from varun himself (g+)
no rom is the best.
you have to try some of them and choose one !
i tried at least more than 10 roms + defualt kernels and custom kernels.
and compare them together and flashed best based on my usage ! ( your usage may vary and of course other roms is best for you )
but :
if your main concern is not heavy camera usage and want stability + battery + xposed , i suggest you Sultanxda CM13 rom.(which i am using now.)

https://plus.google.com/+varund7726 you will find them on his page. He is doing weekly builds. But he is not the official maintainer for oneplus3/3t even if he is the maintainer of the rom itself and the most important developer of resurrection remix . by the way the kernel included in his build is very advanced. try it befor flashing any custom kernels.

Listen a sentence which a mate teach me when I was a Junior Member.
"No ones knows better than Developer which tweaks are better for his work".
So only install kernel and enjoy it flavour!
Something important, if you are going to use xceed kernel you cannot have installed Firmware v7.7.6 it has to be 7.5.4 or 7.6.8 or 7.7.20 (this one replace the other 7.7.6 one which it is not suitable to combine with Overclocked kernels).
If you have any doubt don't hesitate asking me or someone!

Revolution OS isn't AOSP rom. It's a custom Miui rom.
For me atm Syberia because of no pixel stuff and so far no issue only double tab on statusbar to sleep didn't work.
DerpFest also was good but after every reboot you have to put USB-Debugging again on and to much pixel and gapps are pre-installed.
ColtOS also was great first look but problem with pattern and unreadable storage, so had to do again format data. No Problem but twrp didn't ask for pattern remains. So went directly to syberia and stay for some days with it to see.
All with only little like cosmetic issues so good to go.
And perhaps you might be thanks(button) to the users they give a answer to your question. Sometimes I can't understand, it's so easy to tick the thanks button. Sorry for my emotions and a nice Sunday(who have now) to all.
Thanks to you for this thread.
