Could someone help me to recover the IMEI from my moto e4 plus MT6737

After I pass the stock rom on it I no longer receive operator signal, could someone help me solve my problem?:confuso:

Did you unlock the bootloader? Did you root the phone? Did you flash twrp custom recovery? And if you flashed a custom rom which one did u use?
BTW would you be kind enough to send a screenshot of cpuz on your phone? Much appreciated.

So you didn't flash any roms on the phone? Still running the stock rom that came with the phone?
I don't understand how unlocking the bootloader would remove the IMEI. Are you sure you didn't flash any Roms?

Well I had installed twrp, and installed the Resurection Remix 5.8.5 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e4-plus/how-to/rom-resurection-remix-5-8-5-moto -e4-t3686842), then after giving imeil null, I went through the stock, but did not solve.

I think I am on the same boat as of you.
I flashed a rom and by mistakely came back to stock with F+D and lost the precious number.
Have you find any way to recover it?

mi unlock problem, can not unlock bootloader.

Here I have a problem to unlock my bootloader of my global mi9.
I made the request for deverouillage in the rules, but after 360h, miunlock told me to wait another 4 days.
after 4 days, I have the message in Chinese (see photo) and impossible to unlock the bootloader.
I never had a problem to unlock the bootloader of my other xiaomi phones before.
Do you have a solution?

Oh sorry missed that. What the error says in english is something like: the phone has not been used in the specified time and cannot be unlocked. Did you turn the phone off after starting the timer? Probably some weird anti reseller protection by xiaomi. I would try binding the device to your mi account account again.

I tried another version of mi unlock and I linked my account again to the phone.

problem solved. I installed a very old version of mi unlock and it worked.

It has nothing to mi unlock version to do. In the first place there was problem with connection between the phone and PC.

I mean I doubt that using older version of mi unlock tool have been solved the problem. The error shown on the image mean that connection between the phone and PC have been lost. There is no way to bypass the waiting time other then having VIP account or find someone who has and willing to help.

My x70 pro plus CN ver.
I'm living in south korea, and I can not use VoLTE.
So, I use PDC and EFS EXPLORER to make VoLTE.
I changed mbn to ITALY_VOLTTE_VODAFONE
and then, I get in to EFS EXPLORER.
I copy the EFS files. and in the policyman folder,
I deleted original 'CARRIER POLICIES.XML'
and add my new carrier policies.xml
after efs paste done, I shut down efs explorer and reboot.
after reboot, the message told me there is no sim in there, and my imei and meid was just like pic.
I tried imei repair tool.
but every time I get in to diag mode, even I didn't pull usb out. The phone is connected or not, it repeats like crazy
how can I repair my X70 PRO PLUS...?
if update will repair it? or I have to send it china??
give me some IDEAS PLS....

Hello, I had a problem with my Redmi Note 9, the IMEI disappeared after the Android 11 update. Does anyone have an efs backup so I can restore?

Efs does not contain imei and you can't share IMEI between different devices or you will brick your device.

What is the best method for me to recover my IMEI? I thought that if I got a backup of the same device as mine I could restore by twrp.

Flash engineering rom, enter in meta mode, rewrite IMEI 2 and keep IMEI 1 as null.
Backup NVDATA, flash wanted rom and then restore NVDATA back.

Hello, the following is my device (Redmi Note 9, Merlin) the IMEI disappeared after the V12.0.1.0 update and until today it has no IMEI. And look that the latest version is in V12.5.4.0 and no solution. A guy I met on the internet forced the bootloader to unlock (I don't know how he did it) and fixed the IMEI problem, but V12.5.3.0 which was the version I was on, was full of bugs (Storage in " others" filling by itself, an error of not connecting to Google servers, it was not possible to use the play store). Because of that I decided to install a custom ROM (Pixel Experience 12.1) the ROM is perfect, no bugs, normal storage, accessing the normal Play Store, I would like to stay in it only with the IMEI working. But in this ROM change the IMEI disappeared again. I would like to know as much information as possible so that I can solve this, like a step by step of the whole procedure, I would be very grateful.

Can you please tell me how you installed a custom recovery and flashed the ROM, please? I have the Redmi Note 9 and the MIUI 12.5.4. When it got bricked and I complained about it at my local "shop" (Something like a Microcenter), they reflashed it (thus losing all my photos from Summer 2021, around 80GBs of photos and videos with my family) I think they flashed a wrong MIUI ROM or an MTK firmware as the TWRP app reports the phone as "gauguin" (which is Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G) The ADB shell says merlinnfc which is correct. Also, I see some options such as Hotspot and multiple users as the first options on the Settings main page. I compared it with my classmate's phone as he got the same model as me. (But he was lucky enough not to brick it during an update )
Also, don't you have a sticker on the back of your phone with the IMEI numbers?

After 1 weeks of trying to repair the phone, i did it but the IMEI code was deleted.

bro always BACKUP the stock rom before doing anything with mtk client so when something happen u can always back to the original
try to look for someone who has a full backup of the rom and download it

Update : I try with usb but now it stuck on Connect to MD

After a "modeswitch" most probably the device will connect as a different USB device which will need a driver. It takes some time and often needs manual installation when this happens. Check the device manager for the newly appeared unknown device and check the driver...
