You could flash stock oreo by this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...h-oreo-8-1-stock-global-t3852967/post77852056
Firmware link:-
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/sanders/official/
And take efs and persist partition backup before flashing the stock rom to not lose IMEI.

Hello,
I want to roll back to stock ROM, because we have Lineage OS no more, and I don't want to stay on undeveloped ROM with poor battery. I want to go back to stock. How I can do it without a dump?
My phone is NEM-L21. Do I need oeminfo and custom.bin for my phone? When I can find it and how to flash it?
Thank you!

Wipe system, cache, data from twrp first. Then flash the full update of the stock rom by using the dload method. Wiping everthing before flashing stock rom will also lock your bootloader during stock rom installation.
Hi all, I recently flashed a 6.0.1 rom and updated the bootloader and baseband to N910TUVS2EQG1. I made a twrp backup before updating from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1. Can I restore that twrp backup on my phone? Would that change the baseband/bootloader back to 5.1.1 or those stay ase 6.0.1? Would the phone work restoring to a 5.1.1 rom using 6.0.1 baseband and bootloader? There are some nice features on the older rom that I like and would like to try restoring it.
Thanks!

You have to downgrade bootloader/modem to 5.1.1 otherwise your backup will not boot.
If you made full backup from twrp (boot/system/data/efs/modem) then you need just to downgrade the bootloader .
You dont have to flash whole 5.1.1 firmware to downgrade you can just flash bootloader via odin then go to twrp and restore your backup.
Get bootloader from link below
Choose BL in odin

Get modem from link below
Choose CP in odin

What is model number and what region ?
Firmware versions are different by region and device model.
If you have any backup of stock ROM, then you can easily check correct firmware version that was installed on your device.
Another way is to pull/dump "utags" partition. It contains useful information of stock firmware that was previously installed..

Moto fixed persist issue in oreo stock
I reverted custom liquid pie to stock oreo with modemst and worked fine(few times).:good: :fingers-crossed:
custom rom is best. keep using custom rom. keep trying different ones.
Stock rom has got its own pros...
Is there a firmware that can be flashed without going back to stock? I have LineageOS and want to update the vendor firmware without going back to stock and losing everything.

That doesn't update the vendor firmware. That only updates the OS.

Ah... So what is your current vendor firmware?
The vendor image is included with the rom. The bootloader and radio can be updated in recovery through adb. I haven't seen any zips that flash them. In my experience, updating the radio and bootloader sometimes ends up in bricks that require the blankflash files to recover.
hi, i have been searching, but i don't see that anyone has asked this question exactly...is there a way to use stock 9.0x firmware on a 3t and LineageOS if i DONT care about wiping? I have a 3T that i currently have Lineage 16 but not current because i am on 5.08 firmware. I could completely wipe phone, given that, would it work to flash stock OxygenOS on the phone (presumably to get 9.0 firmware) and then go through the procedure to install Lineage again?
thanks in advance
to be clear, I am currrently running lineageos 16 (pre 9.x firmware requirement) and stock 5.08 firmware. the system is unlocked (obviously) and i have twrp installed.
what I want is unmodded 9.06 firmware with lineagos 16 and am ok with wiping if i have to.
thanks

Because I like my phone unlocked and encrypted, this is what I would do:
- backup my user data to a PC
: Install OOS 9.0.6 full rom
- Format data (wipe>format data) to remove encryption
- boot system (will re-encrypt the data and replace TWRP)
- copy data back to phone
- flash TWRP using fastboot
- install Los 16
Sent from my OnePlus3T using XDA Labs

It's answered in the official los-16 and official twrp threads. Exactly that. You need to read through the threads, it's not in the OP.
It's basically: flash twrp-3.3.1-0 or later, relock 5.0.x bl, boot to twrp-3.3.1-0 or later and wipe system and format data, teboot to twrp-3.3.1-0 or later and update the gw to 9.0.x. Reboot to twrp-3.3.1-0 or later and flash rom, gapps and otional stuff as usual.
