Using full screen gestures all the time, but never had something like this. Do you run any other mods?

Is it software possible to record the calls (both sides, no loudspeaker) on nexus 1?
There was similar problem for windows mobile before where the OS won't let it, but was later solved. Now i see that there aren't really programs offering that as a feature. Is it disabled again on OS level?
Yes.
Search can be your friend, if you let it.
I want you to be my friend and let me know
Good reply
Can't say the same for yours (i still don't know the answer)
Ok, I'll try again:

I know they removed some program that was on the market that does that but, I use MIUI and its built into the rom :^)
I'm fairly sure google voice allows you to record calls. pressing "4" while in a call activates its IIRC

Please give us more light on that, do you remember the program and what's MIUI and what's your rom?
ok i finally read a bit about the matter, it's not in the stock ROM cause is illegal on plenty of places and they want to avoid potential trouble.
But with custom ROM it should be possible. Just as it seems is the case with this MIUI above.
But is it possible with cyanogen's rom?
I am on MIUI 11 and after recent update of chrome, I notice laggy behaviour in Chrome, especially when scrolling. After uninstalling update lags are much lesser and then when I update again, issue comes up too.
Is anyone else experiencing same issue?
Try switching off DC dimming...

Many have that experience, an update is needed

Same here. With DC dimming off lag is less but not completely gone.
I tried other chromium based browsers such as Edge and Kiwi. They both work pretty smooth.
no issue here on china rom
Don't really want to say that this is an solution. It's more like a workaround until it gets fixed.
You can put Chrome in your "game booster" under security app.
When I do that, the stutter is gone for me then.
I dont notice that behaviour, but chrome is eating my battery like a damn cookie monster! Its the main app that drains my battery

The actual name is "Use Android SurfaceControl" and with it disabled UFO FPS Test started showing screen HZ values instead of something about 40 FPS with DC Dimming on, so it means Chrome now uses all screen HZ, thanks.

I have the same issue. New version of Chrome doesn't have "Use Android SurfaceControl" option so I can't disable it. Does anyone know any other way to disable Android SurfaceControl in Chrome?

That's not solution because my eyes hurt when DC dimming is off.
I reported the bug on Chromium bugs.

This worked wonders! I was so annoyed by the laggy chrome experience because everything else works fine on my 120Hz device. Only chrome looked so laggy. Do we know why does this happen in the first place?

Hi to all,
someone has tried the "Cloner App" of Oppo and trying to clone Whatsapp ??
I have a problem: cloning occurs perfectly and I can use the copy of WHTASPP perfectly. But when I try to go to "connected devices" (in WA) to enable my PC to access my account, biometric authentication with fingerprint is requested. I put my finger on sensor and it does NOT recognize my fingerprints.
It is not a problem of fingerprints because they work perfectly with all the other apps and access to the phone.
I tried to record new fingerprints, but nothing. It doesn't recognize them in Whatsapp cloned.
Someone had the same problem I have?

Ill check it for you tomorrow. You mean whatsapp web or whatsapp desktop?
Thank you!!
I've tried WhatsApp web. But I think the problem it's not the version of WhatsApp.
Tell me about your test

Yup same story here. Its like fingerprint reader ignores my fingertip
Previous way of using whatsapp web or desktop was to scan qr code...now I see "linked devices" option instead with fingerprint access.
There is a workaround for it:
- remove all your fingerprints
- whatsapp will.ask u to put code (lock screen)
- link web/desktop app
- add fingerprints agaib
Yes....it's a possible solution, but the applications that use the fingerprints what happens to do (bank, etc ...) ??
Usually when you change fingerprints there is a process of annoying re-authorization.
Thank you very much for your test and your availability!!
I will try this solution in a few days and I will update the thread

Yes thats true but in my case (2 banking apps) it took avg 3 seconds to.enable it again. Please keep in mind that linking device in whatsapp is done only once. So aftet that you have to.reenable biometrics in your banking apps only once...and all should work afterwards.

I just did as you suggested and I can confirm that it's a workaround that works!
But I hope that OPPO adjusts this annoying bug in the next releases...
Is there a way to signal the presence of bugs and malfunctions directly to OPPO?
I come from OnePlus and in ColorOS 11 I found many bugs like this!
Maybe too many bugs ...

Not sure. I moved from.OP6T and it was easy to raise a bug on the community site. Here I have no idea but i found few annoying ones as well.
so it's a problem in this app uses parallel space
that has a beautiful interface, is fluid and known
which is the best way/app to active notification light freture?
i've seen videos on AOE and Notifybuddy apps. but are they safe to use?? and how much power they consume on regular use?
I have same question. Surprised, that phone has no support of Always on Display like it was on my previous samsung. AOE require rights to read your messages, that is not inspire confidence

It has AoD support.
Though it's not as feature rich as I would like.
AOE needs to read messages so that it can see that there are messages.
I think that android ( at least miui ) blocks apps from seeing that there are messages even if they have permission to see notifications.

No, only 10 seconds can't be called an AoD.
They should call it a 10 second on display or something like that. Everything except Always On because it isn't always on.
It's also totally useless because instead of a single tap to view the "AoD" you might as well doubletap and view your lockscreen.

The issue seems to be there for years, Note 9 and 10 were also restricted for 10 seconds.
I guess Xiaomi wants you to buy the Pro model which has true AoD.
I send them an email and their response is that they don't offer full AoD because it drains the battery. They want you to enjoy full battery life they said.

Are you receiving the notifications for google messages? If so, how did you get them to show up?
I remember it was a whole problem trying to get them to work on the x70 pro+, but it wss possible. Now I tried doing the same on this phone but I'm still not getting notifications. Only stock app notifications are working. Any idea?
Edit: ok... guess I had forgotten to allow notifications, allow background battery, and give all permissions to carrier services. Seems to be working now.
Edit2: I was reading the forums and just found out that notifications don't work properly in dark mode. So I had to switch off dark mode. Is there a reason why this happens and is there a fix?

Best thing to do is give feedback to vivo via the feedback app, list every bug/issue you have

No fix at the moment AFAIK. As @Thanos88 said it's best to just report this to vivo directly.
What boggles my mind is that the dark mode notification bug was already present on previous vivo phones with Origin OS and IT WAS FIXED... So why is it an issue again? I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the apps being non-Chinese. All Chinese apps work perfectly with or without dark mode. Vivo most likely doesn't care about apps that are mainly used outside of China.

Correct, should have been fixed with the x80 pro. But to be honest, im using dark mode, and I still get sms notifications with the default messaging app. However, I do have the vivo.pem app uninstalled so that's probably why text message notifications are working for me
