Hi all,
First Xiaomi phone should be arriving in a few days, currently on a OP6T.
Looking to flash a new ROM being from the UK and need to run mobile banking apps and google pay. Also wanting to debloat the apps associated with the CN version.
I understand I need to unlock the bootloader on the device - that's fine I'll do that ASAP.
My query is... Which ROM is currently considered the most stable and user friendly for UK users? I've seen there's the .eu version based on the CN rom, the global ROM, EU and EEA roms?! Just a bit confused which one to go for. Not too fussed but would enjoy updates OTA.
Thanks in advance!
Hi dear.
You can flash latest global rom Fastboot ROM through Mi Flash Tool or flash xiaomi.eu (custom ROM)
Thanks for your reply. Is the global ROM best for UK? What's the difference between the global ROM, EEA ROM and xiaomi.eu ROM?

you cant you have EEA and the 12.5 so far is for Global , just wait for it as i am waiting to appear for EU
Got the EEA 12.5 update this morning (UK).
Very underwhelming but updates are always welcome
Cheers
Can i put with fastboot the CN ROM V12.5.3.0.RFACNXM in my EEU mi 9?
There are problem about?
I just did it. It is a bull****. Chinese everywhere, no google services...
Switched back and waiting for something global
If you want to use the CN ROM, just use the Xiaomi.eu ROM from their stable branch
Hello.
Good day to everyone.
I got the mi 11 ultra Chinese version and I flashed the MIUI 13. Before it had global stable 12.5. (i bought it with that rom preinstalled and unlocked).
I installed the MIUI 13 china because I use Google pay and I wanted a locked rom but i Iive in Europe so Its very frustrating to set up the Chinese version. I want a phone for everyday use but i didn't know that It was china version and I couldn't use Google pay when I bought it.
The phone is Chinese MIUI 13 locked totally as stock.
I want to unlock and go back to MIUI 12 either on global or eea rom. Which one u suggest. I read about Xiaomi eu rom but I don't want to mess up with my phone Everytime I have to update it except if Xiaomi eu rom update itself like global or eea rom.
What u think?
And how to do it?
unlock bootloader then flash xiaomi.eu stable version (miui 13) , you can search and follow instructions on xiaomi.eu
Very stable for me
