I need to record phone calls for my job; i have read that in Mi 9t pro it's preinstalled the Google dialer, so no record phone calls is possible by default (blame to **** Google).
I'm waiting to buy it because i've not still find the way to record calls....
Someone can post a valid solutions?

Generally you won't be able to record phone calls in Europe anyway as this is illegal and requires the permission of the party being recorded, that's why Xiaomi leave their dialler out of the global version to follow EU rules,
There are many apps out there which I believe don't work well and often only record your voice and not the voice of the other person.
I am on mi9t pro and have call recording but you will need root and then install the asop dialer with call recording and carry out a couple of settings but i can guide you. Alternatively there are other third party recording apps. Once you root a whole new world opens up but without root im not sure.
I can not root the phone because banking applications won't work if i do that....but i've read that it's possible to change the rom without rooting, and put the Xiaomi.eu or the Indian rom (that has the dialer with recorder enabled).
It's true? or you have still to root to do that?
Someone can explain me or guide me in that process?
I really need the recording functions: someone can confirm me that is present in Mi 9T (non pro)?
I need to install a good spam filter too in my dialer, so waiting for suggestions about that too.
Thanks in advance
I don't know where you heard banking apps won't work if you root the phone. I have rooted all my phone's including this one and I have 2 banking apps plus Gpay working without any issues. That's the whole point of systemsless root. You can hide the banking apps in magisk and hide magisk altogether and everything banking related will work fine. And I think if you install an EU version of miui it will have call record.
can you be more specyfic ? need aosp dialer and what settings?

Please, do tell. When I tried that route I was just awarded with a boot loop.
All you'll need to do is install the asop dialer APK and once installed convert the said asop dialer as a system app that's it call recording function working on any rom including miui. I used lucky patcher to convert the dialer.

I tried your suggestion using the apk from https://github.com/A2HI2H/Aosp_Dialer_With_Call_Recording. Is that what you used?
Using the magisk systemizer module, I seem to be able to make calls but no recordings are made with the phone app. I'm not sure what could be wrong now.
---------- Post added at 12:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:44 PM ----------
I got it to work now. Either it was interference with some magisk module that I've now deactivated or, because it needs to be the default phone app. In any case, it seems to be working now. Thanks for the tip sam00561!
Needed to be default phone app that is another requirement.
"Call recorder" by the developer "Skvalex" works 100% on my Mi 9T Pro. Even on BT headset, it's working flawlessly. Skvalex is one greedy dev, offering the most expensive recording app on the market. But it's working, that's for sure...
The app "Boldbeast" is also working 100% on this phone. Crystal clear sound, even on BT.

Disclaimer: As mentioned above, it is illegal to record phone calls in EU without the explicit permission of the other party. If your job requires you to record calls, ask your job to provide you the phone which can do that. Unless you want to get in legal trouble, you should not break the law. But that's like DUH!
Having said that, do this at your own risk because I am not quite sure if you should cross flash ROMs intended for a different region, people have tried and succeeded though. But in Indian version, you can record calls by default with MIUI dialer. If you are already unlocked, try the IN ROM. All the best!
Ok, skvalex (non play store version, found here https://callrecorder.skvalex.com/get) works in miui 11 eea mi 9tpro non root, locked bootloader, even without enabling the accessibility service that it asks to record both sides in android 10). It also auto selects the settings for the device (I just changed file format as mp3, per my preference).
Beware, this is an expensive app! 10€ or more lol

Evening all I am after a little help please I am new to this phone after having Samsung's for a long time and one thing that is bugging me is that apps that are real time e.g. whatsapp and anything with messaging are not getting the messages until I open the app and I am then flooded with messages? I have seen the options in the power menu for background apps but regardless of how I select the apps either on or off I still don't get the messages till I open the app?
Anyone else had this issue and know lof a work around?
Cheers
Hi! yeah, I had the same problem and I know more people is suffering the same experience. What I made was the following. Firstly, you should set the background apps in setting/power manager/manage background. Then, you have to make the same in Mi-assistant app/list of authorized and finally, you can install "Push Notifications Fixer" app from Google Play Store but be aware, because there are two versions of this app (rooted and not rooted devices). At this moment, my notifications come on time so, it's working pretty well.
Thanks so much for this I will check your advise out now.

Do you have 5.1.1 version in Axon Elite? Congratulations! You must be the only one. Rest of us have 5.0.2 version and in settings, you have an option with an icon battery. This is power manager or energy manager.

hi all well after speaking with ZTE support i performed a factory reset but prior to that they advised to clear cache on the apps with issues (not sure why) but this did help and for the first few days all was great but whatsapp is slowly getting more and more delayed? i have set all the power and start up options as advised also disabled the MI assistant but to no avail? so the reset may help others but for me this did not work.

Hi, I have downloaded an app called Automatic call recorder by appliqato.
I used this app before with no problems on my previous phone (mi a1).
But for some reason, now it is recording but with no sound.
Any idea why?
Thanks a lot!
Maybe it worked on your older phone because it had an older android version. It appears goolag has decided that we won't be allowed to record our phone calls under android 10. That is until they change their mind.

Yes you are right, My old mi a1 was on android 8 when I used it.
do you know of any way of enabling it?
maybe with root?
or by downgrading android?
It's really important for me to record calls.
edit: I read a little bit and found this: https://www.boldbeast.com/forum/topic1877-android-10-call-recording.html
this app does work if you enable the accessibility setting, but for some reason, the other person is not as loud in the recording as he is when talking to him, but it's close enough so I will take it
Almost any custom MIUI ROM has such function by default.

You have to use the apk from the website, not the playstore app!
From the official boldbeast website:
No root needed, but special operation needed
In some countries in some phones, the call recording feature of Android 10 is disabled but Boldbeast Recorder can bypass the limits to enable it. Please:
- Confirm you are using Boldbeast Recorder V12.9 or a newer version.
- Tap "Settings - System - Accessibility" in your phone (not in Boldbeast), enable Boldbeast Call Recorder on the screen.
- Tap "Set Default Settings" in Boldbeast Recorder.
Then it works at once, both your voice and the caller's voice are loud and clear in recordings, no root needed.
For example, Android 10 phones like Galaxy S10, Note10 etc in many countries work great this way.
The voice of the other person on the line is a bit weak, but usable.
On my rooted phone, both voices are equally loud & crystal clear.

All Samsung phones have call recording built-in since last 2-3 years incl S8/9/10/20/21 and their variants and M or A series of last 2-3 years at least incl M31 etc.
Before that I had been using some apps I think on S6 and such but it was frequently a headache with issues like low volume of other person voice etc.

Hi, sadly True Phone doesn't work correctly on MIUI roms. In my experience, the only way to get call recording working fine, is flashing Indonesian rom. That's no other solution.
True Phone records our voice correctly, but the other side sounds very low, and not much clear.
I'm not sure if Indian rom, or any other, also get Miui dialer. The only one that I know surely, is indonesian's.

Hi, of course, I was testing all options: integrated recorder, skvalex app, and also system recorder, but I don't like every call had to activate manually miui recorder. If we need miui dialer also to record correctly, why we must use two apps for that work? I prefer using original miui recorder from indonesian rom.

Sorry, I assumed that we are talking about xiaomi.eu roms (that has original miui dialer) Some people, myself, prefer the interface of True Phone, instead original Miui dialer, then, I also tried to work with it in xiaomi.eu rom, but it works parcially, talking about recording calls.
True Phone, in a xiaomi.eu rom, has 3 recording calls options:
1) by True Phone itself.
2) by app skvalex (which is integrated into True Phone configuratio)
3) by system dialer. But in original global roms, it doesn't works, because google dialer don't do it. You must use xiaomi.eu rom to use these option.
True Phone doesn't record calls with enough quality by itself, (option 1) then you must use another app (skvalex) to reinforce True Phone. (option 2) Nor does it work well, so the only option that works fine is the 3rd. (using system dialer.) If you use True Phone as default dialer, using 3rd option, every call you do, need to "manually activate original miui dialer" just after clic the begin calling.
Sorry for the explanation a little confused, but my english is not enough good.

Unlocking bootloader of your Xiaomi or Redmi device does not void the warranty, the smartphone manufacturer said in a tweet. Xiaomi has always kept it clear that unlocking the bootloader via the Mi Unlock tool does not affect the device's warranty.
As long as you're flashing original ROM's there should be no problem with your warranty whatsoever.
