I have a Motorola G5s Plus with bootleggers 4.3 stable custom rom. When installing Magisk 19.3 it fails safetynet check for CTS profile. I added the Safetypatch module from Magisk which fixed the issue but now it's prompting me upon boot to install the vendor image file for Huaweiclt-l-29. Is that safe to do or will it brick my phone?
Never a good idea to load something for another device

I have a Motorola Moto X4 (Android One version) and it's running Oreo 8.1 on the May security update. I have Magisk installed and working correctly, but when I try to install systemless xposed via Magisk Manager, I get a bootloop on reboot!
This is v90.2-beta3 (API27). Is there anything I can do to get Xposed working? Any way I can get some (boot) logs to help out?
Hello!
What version of Magisk are you all using for treble roms?
Ever since i install a treble rom (on DotOS for the moment), magisk keeps booting me to fastboot. I've used the 16.4 magisk recommended in the LineageOS thread (Link).
The official Magisk said the following in the release notes for 16.7:
Hot Fix (versionCode: 1671)
Fix booting to fastboot on half-treble devices (OP5/5T on stable OOS, maybe more)
Detect ramdisk partition for Huawei
Click to collapse
Which seemed promising but when i flashed my phone and boot it doesn't recognize it (no errors during flashing), and Magisk Manager says that Magisk isn't installed.
Any help on this would be very appreciated.
Just flashed to the November security patch and as soon as I flash either Magisk it bricks with the "Could not load Android system" error
Edit: You know what though, the canary build boots fine. Eh?
I'd like to know if there is a magisk root, and either official or unofficial TWRP for this phone, on Android 8.1.
Bonus points for the stock ROM, or a way to get it before flashing magisk
EDIT: SOLVED! See the bottom of this post.
Hello!
I have just flashed the Xiaomi.EU ROM and installed Magisk. However, the SafetyNet check fails, both the basicIntegrity and ctsProfile checks fail. It's not even Play Protect certified. Is it any different for you? Is there a way to fix it, did I do something wrong?
I have tried removing Magisk, which makes the SafetyNet check pass again. It's definitely tied to Magisk somehow.
I patched my Magisk boot.img by taking the boot.img from the ROM, copying it to the device, using Magisk Manager to patch it, then flashing it to boot_a and boot_b.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I fixed it by re-patching the boot image, reflashing it, and enabling Magisk hide. This time, I patched the boot image while on the Xiaomi.EU ROM, the previous one was patched on the CN ROM.
Thanks!
