Redmi k20 pro stuck at Mi Logo pls help - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

My Redmi k20 pro stuck at MI logo.. how can I solve this... Pls help me.. I bought it 1 month ago.. warranty is void...

If you have a redmi and the phone stucks in the mi logo, I understand that the device is unlocked. Flash a fresh miflash rom. I hope you didn't close the bootloader in the last flash. If you did, you will have to ask for a EDL flash. 20$

Then it's probably an hardware issue: maybe internal components other than the screen are damaged (for example, the memory chip)...
So you won't fix this issue with a software solution...

If the boot loop happens when you have the phone connected with a cable, and it simply doesn't work when you don't have it connected with a cable, is because the battery connector was disconnected with the impact. In that case xz you have to open back cover ( with the nail, moving up and down) and removing the metal plate above the battery. Then connect back the connector and put back everything as before. Good luck

Locked Tiffany bootloader, stucked in bootloop after flashed in edl mode

Hi, I m fighting the last days trying to resurrect my mi 5x and I need any kind of tips, advice, inputs you can give
The whole story begun when my phone fell down a few days ago (not sure if it affected the whole situation). The phone after the fall was working normally(for a few hours) but later that day the battery depleted and it switched off. After I plugged it in the charger I tried to open it and it was in a weird mode. I could reach the white screen with the white logo of android and it stuck there for hours. I decided to flash it with a new rom and everything went south.
I will explain in steps all the attempts I have tried:
1) The bootloader was unlocked but it didn't leave me to flash the official Tissot rom that I had downloaded so I reboot my phone through fastboot cmb in edl mode and then with the Miflash tool I flashed the Tissot stock rom. v.9.6.4.0.
2) The phone hard bricked and I realized that I made a big mistake by flashing a rom from a different bootloader. ( I also realized at that point that I bought the phone with a custom A1 rom with a Tiffany bootloader).
3) I disassembled my phone and I put it in edl mode by using the test points and then I flashed it with a stock Tiffany rom by using Mi flash tools.
4) The phone was in a bootloop after the flash finished.
5) No actions could be made through fastboot and recovery because now the bootloader was locked.
6) After this, I tried several times flashing (in edl mode each time) all the stock Tiffany versions I could find online (stable or beta).
7) Every time after the flashing was done I was turning on the phone and it was again in bootloop.
8) At some point also I tried to side load an update of one of the tiffany's recovery rom (stable and beta) and I was getting an error that the rom is illegal and again bootloop.
The biggest problem is that I can' t unlock the bootloader through xiaomi unlock tool because the device was hardbricked and now my mi account is not bound with the device. If you can answer any of the following questions or if you have any idea you will save me!!!
1) Is there any way to unlock the bootloader?
2) Is there any reasonable explanation of why I am in a boot loop after flashing it with the proper tiffany fastboot rom?
3) Is by any chance the fall that the phone had before anything happen to affect the whole situation?
4) Is there any other way to flash a rom with locked bootloader?
Thank you very much!!!

Mi A2 stuck on miui 10 bootloader locked.

My little brother tried to convert MiA2 into mi 6x.He flashed the mi6x rom without deleting the firmware folder and also didn't replace the A2 camera files. He flashed the miui 10.2 rom and locked the bootloader.now I am stuck on miui 10 rom and my camera app crushes. No third party camera app works(tested them all).Tried testpoint method. It doesn't work too.I can flash only the patched miui rom which is terrible and buggy.Several apps crush all the time.Youtube app doesn't work.Does anyone have faced similar problem! Can i have any solution please?

Did you face same problem!
I took it to a service center. The person there tried this method.but he couldn't do it.Rather he bricked my phone totally.Later flashed the patched rom again. Also he removed imei number.now imei shows 0000000000 but i can use the phone. There is no problem with network. Testpoint method is supposed to work but flashing gets stuck at 50-60% every time.
im also stuck on miui with locked bootloader. You can't flash a2 rom beacuse u have enabled arb 4. I was looking for a solution but didnt find so far

MI A2 Black screen

Hi guys!
May I know if anybody here experienced black screen ? Screen has no image to display. Backlight is working, Led light is working when charging, fingerprint vibrates as well when A2 is turned on. I have tried replacing LCD display but black screen persists. What do you think is the problem?
Sent from my Mi 9 SE using Tapatalk
I have the same problem!!!! I try flash rom again but it persists
Yesterday it happened to me also.
The phone is working, the touch is working, but the lcd is black.
I even managed to recieve a call. Tried to restart the phone but its still black screen with working touch.
I can't find any solution...
Anybody found a solution??
My MI A2 is in black screen after updated to Wayne V11.0.6.0.PDCCNXM 20200509.
Tried to flash again, the screen didn't even turned on anymore, then used an UNBRICK WAYNE XIAOMI MI6X and it's back to black screen, been like this for 4 days now, should I start looking for a new phone? :crying:
Serial number: 23e3c4ee
Codename: wayne
Bootloader: locked
Anti version: 4
ROM: Wayne V11.0.6.0.PDCCNXM 20200509.
When I flash the ROM again, takes 100, 200 seconds only, and didn't change anything.

stop stressing . you have ARB4 so just flash a custom rom ...or flash only the LASTEST STOCK ROM ...you didn't listen and tried to flash another think ...so your phone went to hardbrick edl mode
your phone is fine it is just in a timeout edl mode
the only way to fully rescue it is by physically forcing testpoint then flashing LATEST FASTBOOT STOCK ...this time listen or stay on black screen

because you are trying to downgrade
what you need to do is flash the LATEST chinese fastboot stock rom of Wayne or it will never work
you need to flash it with edl and miflash ( LATEST BETA)
you keep on thinking you can flash any stock rom but you can't ......
if you try to flash any stock rom older than the last stock rom you flashed it will never boot and keep going back to edl blackscreen
if you DON'T open your phonr and short the test point miflash will timeout or give errors and device wont boot
open your phone with screwdriver and flash the VERY latest chinese fastboot rom with latest miflash beta

Already did everything with Mi flash, forced edl mode by point test, saw like 300 tutorials, for Mi A2, Mi 6x.
What I needed was a verified Mi account to unlock and flash with no problems

I already did, tried all the tutorials from 2018 to last month. The phone bootloader is locked and for some reason I can't unlock it, tried a dozen of different approaches, recovery's, flashings, ADB and everything.
Always ends in two ways, black screen with back light on (some sounds work and keeps in the lock login screen) or dead stuck in permanent EDL mode.
My phone still not working. Maybe its because of the busted display IC.

Is it recognized in the computer?
Are you able to use Mi Flash Tool?
Have you eliminated the possibility of screen malfunction?

If you can't access on your recovery... It's bricked. Are you sure to have flash the good ROM ? When you have this problem, it's due to a bad ROM flashed or corrupted Data / Download (Bad CRC/MD5) flashed under MiFlash on Fastboot Mode.
1/ Try combinaison : POWER + "-" or POWER + "+" with 5 seconds press
2/ Plug your Phone on your computer, launch Xiaomi Unlock (show device ? Locked/Unlocked Status ?)
3/ Plug your Phone on your computer, MiFlash (show device ? Locked/Unlocked Status ?)
4/ Plug your Phone on your computer, try "XiaoMiTool V2" for trying Unbrick

You'll have to pay someone to remote in to reflash the rom onto your phone if its stuck in EDL mode, i had the same issue when i flash and clean lock as well by accident and my phone got stuck in edl mode and this guy managed to fix my device (its costs 2500 Rub which was around £26 for me)

Listen, I would like to thank you for helping me out Brother. I was able to reach out to the person you recommend, however he took a few hours to respond back to be. By the time he did I already had some I found on YouTube do for me remotely as well. Only chargers me $40 US. Im pretty sure I would have been able to haggle him down but figured it was a fare price. He also was kind enough to flash the globle 12.5 ROM as well. On that note, would you know if I'll be able to receive OTA updates? Or will I have to install TWRP RECOVERY and flash the new updates when they come out.? Thanks again for your help brother.

There's no such thing as "bricked" in 2021... even if you have to flash it via EDL, still not bricked.

I had same situation on Redmi K20 Pro. You'll need to flash it using Mi Flash with a dev account via EDL.
And after flashing global rom, never neeever NEVER lock it back when not having chinese rom on a chinese phone.
You are in edl mode, you can flash this rom :
Official Engineering Firmware for Mi 11 : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1quyYpwV8IkZxnICZ2PEBXduuarxemlBI/view?usp=sharingi reupload this for you, tell me when you have downloaded it. Flash it with mi flash, let the phone boot, reboot in fastboot and flash the rom you want.

Thanks you for the EDL firmware. I will download it and just in case I'll ever need it in the future. Plus I'll keep you in mind if ever I need help in the future. Honestly, I never had such a hard time reflashing a device stuck in bootloop. I've flashed so many devices in my life time but never came across such a difficult device to repair. More thank likely I'll be sticking to OnePlus. Much easier.

No way to know what parts are missing. You can reflash your current ROM or the original ROM via fastboot.
Can you enter fastboot mode?

If your bootloader was unlocked you can recover the device via fastboot.
If not you have the same situation as described here:
Redmi Note 10 pro stuck on Mi logo loop after update
I tried wiping my data, but no success. I tried mi flash tool but no scucces. My bootloader is lock. I can boot into fastboot and recovery mode only. Safe mode also loop into logo only. can anyone tell how i can flash stable rom.

Interesting to see that several people are reporting bootloop after upgrading to MIUI 14.
My advice to anyone is to unlock the bootloader before upgrading to MIUI 14 to avoid having a brick, which you can't recover by your own by just flashing.

Excellent advice about "waiting" to first unlock and actually unlocking it before doing any upgrades.

Thank you.
But could you please explain what you mean with "waiting"?
I assume that you mean the seven days until Xiaomi grants you the possibility to unlock the bootloader, right?

Don't upgrade software until you first unlock bootloader.

I agree with regards to this device.
But usually it is not a problem.
With regards to this device I see from two other people that they are facing a bootloop when updating to MIUI 14.
I also did the update and my device ended up in a bootloop.
But I had unlocked the bootloader in advance and could recover the device by flashing.

Could you explain the nature of ur bootloop please... Does it just stay in the MI logo with the three loading dots underneath or does it reach lock screen occassionally?

Hi
Greetings, I am facing the same problem, after upgrade to miui14 the phone is in bootloop,
Explanation
1) The phone starts and enters menu(reboot, wipe data, connect with MI assistant, safe mode)
2) If i click reboot, it will reboot and reach to welcome screen and then it will ask me to activate the phone
Thats it
Then it restarts automatically
This process repeats untill battery drain
The phone is not unlocked
Advice .........

That is actually very easy. There is a tool. Mi_Unlock-en-5.5.224.24. you will need to- (a) go into fastboot mode(Switch on by pressing power+volume down) (b) Connect phone via USB Cable. Have the proper drivers installed. (c) Launch Mi Unlock tool and login into Mi Account. (d) refresh to search phone, select and press unlock. Takes a couple of seconds to unlock the bootloader.

Unlock the bootloader by following the solution described above .
Download and install MiFlashtool 2017.4.25.0.
Download a stable fastboot ROM suitable for your device and place the unzipped folder in the same folder as MiFlashtool C:\xiaomi\XiaoMiFlash
Boot device into fastboot mode and connect.
Flash the ROM. Just it.
