How to make MIPCSuite to work with the device?
This version of android and MIUI sukcs. There is no lockdown mode, no calls transfer on hardware second SIM card, where sim card is off, no easy management of VoLTE/VoWiFi, mail deletes from notification and many others.
Can anyone recommend ROM with all the features mentions above?

I have an urgent problem to solve. It is from tuesday morning that my Xiaomi mi A2 lite cannot read the sim (the signal is completely absent). If I enter in the settings of system, in the net section, the sim is seen but service and other information are "not available". In the last period I did not update (the last one was March 5) and I have already tried to activate and deactivate the airplane mode and change slots, but nothing. Can anyone help me?? thank you!
Hello - back here again to rephrase my issue, as I now have two devices in the exact same situation.
Two Chinese brand new model Mi 9's. Both have microphone issues when placing calls on any Android 10 MIUI or AOSP (Stock or Custom) ROMs.
MIUI 10 and Android 9.0 AOSP ROMs (Like Evolution/PE) work fine. Anything Android 10 based (MIUI11 or AOSP), need to hit Speakerphone button first, then disable it, and microphone works.
Already used fastboot files with miflash to go back to stock MIUI 10 China ROM, OTA update to MIUI 11, and then it stops working. Tried EEA, Global, etc.
What am I missing here? What do I need to flash before upgrading to MIUI 11 even off a fresh fastboot reset?

I have an original Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (Android Version: 7.1.1, Build: NMF26F) with all the Xiaomi updates. Since the phone doesn't get updates anymore, I am looking for a solution to get a custom rom with security updates.
I am searching for a custom rom too, which does not need GPS for Wifi-SSID. With my mi Mi Max 3 and Android 10, GPS (saving doesn't exist anymore) GPS must be activated to see the SSID and I am forced to use LTE, while I want 2G (setting is lost after a restart)
So maybe a ROM based on Android 9 makes sense?
Please point me to a link how to "open" the original phone, so I can flash a custom rom. Does the official way work with the Max2? I have a very old PC, but with Windows 10 20H2 for flashing, normally I use a linux pc.

Physically take out the SIM and move it to another slot and reboot first
If that doesn't work try reseat in the original slot and reboot
If that doesn't work maybe factory reset or update your firmware / flash the Eu etc
If your going to that much hassle you might as well get the latest features at the same time...

This is the case on Firmware from 11 Mi UI, everything works well (Syberia 10A). I install A13 and Firmware from 12 Mi UI and the touchscreen starts to freak out for me, namely, it does not work when re-locking / unlocking. You have to turn the screen on and off many times to make it work
Is it possible to somehow pull the drivers out of the Firmware 11 and transit them into 12?
