Hello guys, first of all my device bootloader is unlocked, install custom recovery orangefox as well as rooted.
Now, the problem is, Whether am on stock or custom rom after any useless system app with root permission, my device always stuck on mi logo.
After that, I have to flash complete rom from recovery to make it work again.

Alright so, to properly install twrp I noticed, you have to boot twrp through adb by going to fastboot and typing the command "fastboot boot recovery.img(or however you have named the twrp file you downloaded)" Your phone will boot into twrp. After that, you need through there to flash magisk or generally the root you prefer. Once you've done that boot into your phone, download the twrp app and flash twrp through there. If your phone is not booting for some reason you might have installed an incompatible image or something. If the phone doesn't boot at all and you can't enter twrp, boot twrp using the method I said earlier and restore a backup you have made, then do the process I told you by installing the app and flashing it, and then continue trying to install a ROM. Always be sure that twrp is working perfectly before flashing ROMs.
i had to flash global rom again because it wasnt booting after root. today i received ota update and now it displays the message the system has been destroyed.
bootloader is locked after flash. my computer still recognizes my phone and i can unlock after 83 hours.
my question is is it possible to flash rom after unlocking bootloader or not? or do i need to i need to follow another method?
i managed to fix my phone using the mi unlock tool and unlocking the bootloader.
one problem that im having is installing magisk. i managed to install twrp but everytime i try to install magisk 2.0.1 i get bootlooped to twrp. i cant boot to android. any help?
Either u can clean install whole system or use magisk manager for recovery to delete all the modules u had(I haven't tried tho ) or clean flash boot.img from latest fastboot rom.

thanks i'm currently waiting for the bootloader unlock count down
can you give me some instructions to flash TWRP on the phone cause i'm kinda new to this stuff
Use latest magsik manger apk extract your boot.img from your stock firmware then patch boot.img using magsik manger then flash the patched boot.img and first of all unlock your bootloader I recommend you use mi unlock sent request for unlocking your bootloader
Unable to install official TWRP in Redmi 8, Miui 11.0.7. It installed. and then vanished when rebooted. and then boot looped. Had to flash original recovery and boot img to reboot.
Had made sure that I didn't boot to system after flashing TWRP. and boot to recovery instead. It flashed okay. Could use the root after installing Magisk. But on reboot, all was gone. Boot looped.
hi bro how did you unlock bootloader on redmi 8 its on 11.0.6.0
Hey people, I have the same problem installing TWRP. When I reboot after installing twrp.img, the recovery mode show me the recovery from the original ROM stock. I made this process hundred of times and gets the same result, original Redmi recovery erase TWRP recovery.
If someone know any solution I would really appreciate it.
