That pretty much guarantees that people *will* DDOS their servers.
A better way would just be to make it silently available and let the news slip out over time.

Extended External Battery

This looks like an interesting approach on external batteries for Galaxy NOTE 2.
I am a bit disappointed since I am sure is blocking NFC and may beloved wireless charging. I may give it a try for the times when traveling...

I had a case that was somewhat similar for my iPhone 3, it was the Mophie Juice Pack Air. I liked it and it definitely came in handy on more than one occasion. I'm kinda interested in this case, thanks for the heads up.

I think I am a bit damaged. First thing I think of when seeing this case "hey, that's a way to save the microUSB plug from wear and tear". My three latest phones of the last 6 years all did develop contact issues after a year or two, no matter how careful I was (too much charging, flashing and modding I guess)
That said, this don't look too bad. Slightly skeptical about quality, both in terms of fit/materials and the battery itself. Not necessarily a bad concept though.

Unfortunately the case gives no protection. Even worse. It makes the device heavier, which means that when it falls on its face, you won't have to check if the glass is shattered. (Yes, that's what happened with my HTC One X!!)

You are exactly right. These battery packs only give a tiny portion of the juices the device needs. Furthermore, the device thinks it's on mains power, so the power savings etc. are not running.
This means the device uses more juice while it does not get it all, so the battery of the unit will not fill up, but run down almost as fast as when no battery pack is connected.

Guys, just get a portable charger. I'm gonna get one for myself.

I would like to put one of this external battery case in to the universal gameklip, which one do u recomend me?

It blocks s-pen, and makes Note 2 even longer due to that battery extension. I haven't used it, just commenting about the picture. Plus, you will get only 3200 mAh of actual charge on it because conversion through usb connection will make it drop by about 30% due to inefficiency.

I wouldn't take my phone out of my carpeted living room until I put a screenie and a case on it. Especially the nexus... Its so inexpensive compared to top end devices that u can use that savings on some protection.

A few weeks ago i was getting changed after football and forgot my phone was in my jeans, so after picking them up it fell out and dropped to the concrete. Those few seconds where time stops and you dread looking at it, then reaching down in what feels like slow motion...
Turns out it landed on the corner and just a slight unnoticeable scratch on the edge. Phew.

I'm new to the OnePlus3 forums (I just purchased the phone, and haven't even had it shipped to me yet) but I'm frankly surprised this had to be implemented at all. Can someone explain to me why that wasn't already available?

It's quite simple. According the information given by the company, they have sold many more devices than expected so now, they need at least a month to produce enough units to satisfy the needs of the market.

Google needed to implement it on their end. My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 had to wait for 60fps to be enabled on YouTube too.

My apologies- I understand why I haven't gotten the phone itself yet. I've been on XDA for a while and understand the phone industry pretty well now. Apologies for sounding like such a noob. I was actually asking why the YouTube app didn't have 60fps by default for the OP3.

Thanks for the answer. I'm really surprised that 60fps isn't just automatically enabled on all phones that have a display that can refresh that quickly. Interesting.

I think they need to whitelist certain devices for it to work. I'm sure they don't want low end devices to attempt 1080p at 60fps.

My radio, PE98MTVPL xtrons, always do a full start up, also when the radio is 5 minutes off and I start the car.
When i put the car on contact, then its good.
Its only by starting the car.
Who could help me please?

Are you sure you made the right connections ?
Check the wire diagram that Constant 12 V and 12 V over ignition switch is connected the right way.
Many headunits from China has red ( constant + ) and yellow ( ignition ) on the wrong connection in European cars.

What do you mean with "on contact"
It is possible that your battery is too weak and that the voltage collapses when starting.

I mean before start the car, the car is on contact. Then the radio does go out of sleep.
When i start the car, tje radio does a full reboot.

But the radio channels doesnt disappear when the radio have a full reboot.
All the settings are saved.

I have had the same problem ( unbelievable, the same Xtrons radio ). After changing the battery, everything is perfect.

I have also encountered the same problem. The product was allwinner T8 type and sold by EUNAVI (=very ****ty seller). I tested product with my own stabilized power supply and I discovered that the sleep mode (technically it is shutdown delay) does not work without a voltage output of 12.3 V or more. This is obviously a matter of product quality, not a problem with automotive battery. I told the seller this case but EUNAVI does not recognize defects of its products. After the dispute, I returned the item but EUNAVI left me a bad word and reputation.

Different stories what it could be. Red yellow wire and battery.
