Yes me too I should have it before August 13 as I'm part of beta so I ll let you guys know what it's like but can't reveal too much .

Am on TWRP..... Sooo when i upgrade to miui 7 would i need the stock recovery???? I mean flashing miui 7 on TWRP may cause issues?? And lastly will miui 7 come as a developer rom or stable one... In case its jus a stable one i guess i will lose root.... [emoji47]

Hi, you should need Stock Recovery if you would like the updating to be automatic. I would just download the ROM and dirty flash it thought TWRP if nothing breaks thats great! If something breaks just wipe your phone and re-flash it. Both stable and developer should be out.

Just downloaded 5.8.6..... No major changes i guess... But soooo badly want miui 7.....??

Which ROM do you have flashed? Developer or stable?

MIUI Chinese ROM gets an OTA Update since yesterday to MIUI v7. I don't see it in my Updater, and I am on official Chinese Developer ROM.
They had a link to the ROM posted on miui.com but removed. Does anyone have a link to the full Fastboot v7? I always have boot loops when updating through OTA.

I did have a bootloop yesterday trying to update to 5.8.13 (MIUI v7) but i tried it again today through twrp and it worked fine. I'm not re-downloading the update file for you and I will upload it to mega.

Yea you download via updater but can't actually install with TWRP. Just go to downloaded_rom folder in TWRP and flash from there.

We have always an up-to-date TWRP but it still unofficial, i can't understand this device?, i can understand Redmi Note 4X (it have a very big modding community) but Redmi 4X.....

Why we need official TWRP if this woks SOOOO GOOD?

You could use builduntu if you are on windows. You need atleast dual core cpu, 4-8 gb of ram, and min 30gb of free space (more if you use ccache). It's better if you know some git command especially cherry pick.

Works perfectly on xiaomi.eu MIUI 9 7.0 rom

Mine is RN4 SD 7.8.24 and it bootloops. I had to do a back up recovery to uninstall it.

Was working fine on Mi Note 2 with EU MIUI 9 Weekly. Since last update still works but i cant install any new modules....i get a blank screen when trying...tho the modules already installed work..... I want to try and uninstall it completely and the reinstall it to see if it fix ...... Can someone please tell me how to properly uninstall it?

I know but I won't be using the IMEI in it. I am trying to go back to my original IMEI with bands restored.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say that you actually have a Chinese K20 Pro and that you've never had band 20.
Either that or you're the first person in the world to change the bands of their K20 Pro /Mi 9T Pro.

No I checked everything when I bought it. It really is a Mi 9T Pro and I am not the only one with this issue. There are many cases in Turkey but people just pay people to solve it with an original xqcn and efs backup. I believe I can solve it myself with these if someone is kind enough to share it
