Yep With Magisk Updated
Don't use root explorer , try mixplorer
Try checking Superuser settings and allow the file explorer manually in magisk

Hi,
Was anyone able to get supersu working on this phone? I tried to flash the zip v2.38 but that didnt work.
Anyone else who would've tried?
Same here. I hope someone could get root working on lollipop.
Read the thread on General Discussion about Lollipop for Mi3. Thanks. It's already there. I am already rooted.
I did that and it was still not working thats why I made this thread. It keeps popping up su binaries are not installed and quits.

I myself rooted and doesn't have any issues. Make sure the zip file you are downloading is not corrupted. You can check it via simply opening the zip file, and if it is open without any error then the file is not corrupted.
Also update all the apps to latest since I had the root issue with Titanium backup pro old version. It should work 100%

No. Its not. I've got the same problem. Rootcheck tells me its not rooted. Can anyone help please?
Just flash supersu zip file through recovery.
With the Cm 12.1 you have the device rooted by default, BUT it needs to be ACTIVATED..., you have to unlock the developers options, then go to administrative access, then put aplications and ADB, and you will have the device rooted now...

check out the supersu beta thread. currently is v2.52. its good to go if you're using 5.1 or 6.0 rom. flash thruogh recovery.
If you installed cm12.1 just you have to do open developer settings and again you have to open root permission in developer settings (im not english guys, if i'm writing false pls dont ban xd)
maybe i was have to read the thread. Sorry guys this suggestion already written.

I have the same problem. The device appears as mi5 on 'Portable Devices'. However I can't flash a ROM inside it. ADB recognizes the device. I suppose it is a driver problem.
Google Tez is not working on any Custom ROM.
It always shows a notification saying that
Tez can't be used on this device
Sorry your device isn't passing Tez's security checks. This may be because your device is rooted or is running an uncertified or custom OS build. As a result, Google can't confirm that your device meets Tez's Security Standards.
Is there any way to fix it?
I have already tried safteyNet fix, still not working.

You just flash the module like a normal zip file
No data loss
You can flash module again to uninstall it

Does flash module again, really uninstalls it?
Thnks
Yes it does
So if you get a bootloop because of a module you can flash it in TWRP to uninstall it and boot successfully again
