A small suggestion . Kindly find the one who had rooted their phone and tell him to grab that . But be sure u guide him.
Can somebody report if P9 lite roms will work on it's indian version honor 8 smart as both phones share same specs(and even dimensions). Kindly report fast..

We might get updater.script errors on TWRP and cust incompatibilities... But I might as well be wrong, sure @haky 86 and other experts have the correct answer for this. If they are 100% equivalent, we should indeed migrate this forum
only if no roms there in that section!
or better I can ask a mod to move all pra-lx1 right there to get more visibility, at last I've nothing to do or work on the old p8 lite anymore!
P.S: my next new rom will be published into the Honor 8 Lite, I'm not going to publish roms here anymore since I close with old p8 lite developments definitively.

I know the question has been asked a few times but I'm currently in a dead end. I want to convert my Honor 9 lite LLD-AL00 into a LLD-L31. I have about the FF the firmware LLD-L31C10B130 (8.0.0.130)
downloaded and would like to convert the firmware over HWOTA. I'm missing the oeminfo! i think i need the HWOTA8_LLD.zip or the OemInfo_LLD.7z. is that correct or am I having a fundamental error? I am grateful for any help

I have a few Honor 9 lite C675 (IN I believe) that have full signal, data works full lte and txt works, on 850mhz but to make a call or receive it drops the call and signal lost for second, so not working, is there any work around, maybe band enable, modem or model change, custom rom, that will enable calls in 850mhz? because if it has full signal maybe just locked and not hardware issue? with 1900mhz works great flawlessly with calls but data only Edge. Emui 8 or 9, the same.
and wich one is the global variant, because I was searching and:

I would say it is a hardware problem, a similar problem has been discussed here (Honor 9 lite and Huawei P20 lite are essentially the same devices).
Try to enable full network mode preferences, look here
