Hi all,
I have a MI 9 in MIUI 11 european (10.0.5.0(QFAEUXM)). I have a Mi Band 3 and I'm using the MI Fit application. It is supposed to send some apps notifications to the band. This is not happening. I can confirm that Mi Fit:
1) Can autostart.
2) Is allowed to show notifications.
3) Can show notifications in the lockscreen.
4) Is allowed to have no battery restrictions in the battery saver.
5) Can sync correctly with the band when I open it.
Anyone else having same problems? My next step would be to disable MIUI optimizations. All recommendations in the web are related to points 1 to 5 above.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
The latest EEA firmware is 11.0.6.0 (QFAEUXM). I take it you mistyped the major version of your firmware. So try to go into the settings and search for an OTA update to get the latest.
I use Mi Fit with the AmazFit Bip and all notifications work well with the latest firmware. Also, unpair the band and repair it again in Mi Fit if you haven't done this.
same problem here, MIUI 11 EEA 11.0.6.0, Amazfit Bip with Mi Fit, no notifications on the watch at all
tried everything: unpair watch, factory reset watch, uninstall Mi Fit, reinstall Mi Fit, all restrictions are turned off
tested with Mi Bandage app, same problem
I think MIUI 11 is turning off bluetooth transmission in the background for 3rd party apps

I have full functionality with notifications on my Amazfit Bip with Mi Fit and MIUI 11 EEA 11.0.6.0 on the Mi9. You will have to look somewhere in your setup.

Hi, I don't see the 11.0.6.0 update via OTA yet.
What solved the Mi Fit broken notifications was to delete and reinstall the Mi Fit app. I did this 5 days ago and so far it's working. I could not identify what broke it before. I'm suspecting something related with the security app because this was the last action before it broke.
this issue related to mifit app not MIUI. I have this with MIUI 11 and 10
Hello,
I have the same issue, actually this morning I've received notifications, and few hours later I had the message in the MiFit app, that says
"Notification service isn't available". I have a Mi9Lite phone, and the its updater says there is no updates available, and runs MIUI 11.0.1.0 stable.
You need to untick / tick notification access on every reboot.

Hello all! I am running the latest official EEA rom (10.2.26.0). Every 3 or 4 hours, when I open google maps and try to navigate to somewhere it shows that I am offline. The phone is connected to the internet (i open a browser to check and it works). The problem is solved with a simple reboot. Has anyone noticed the same thing?
I googled and found that one possible solution would be to uninstall and then reinstall the updates to google maps, via the play store. Try and update if it helped.
Thank you crazybill, I came across the solution but thought it was just an answer like "Have you tried to turn it of and on again" . I will give it a try and report back in a few days. I am preparing myself for a factory restore if everything else fails!
You might want to switch from the EEA ROM to Global. Xiaomi has been having problems with bugs on supposedly stable MIUI builds but the MI 9 EEA ROM seems to be plagued with far more serious bugs than the Global.
When I was running EEA there was a bug that killed the sound from incoming calls on Volte and disabled WiFi Calling. This was on a "beta stable" build that Xiaomi pushed out to many phones (including mine) via OTA. That was last month but there have been recent reports on XDA from MI 9 owners running EEA who are currently experiencing the same issue.
Reportedly the latest EEA OTA is also bricking some phones--but that's why I always unlock the bootloader on Xiaomi phones. The same thing was happening to some owners of Mix 2, Mix 2S and MI 8 phones--a routine OTA bricked their phones. With your bootloader unlocked it's usually easy to recover but with a locked bootloader it's virtually impossible unless you are willing to open the phone and attempt an EDL Test Point reset.
You might also want to take a look at your phone's location settings. When I got my MI 9 running EEA out of the box the location settings were set to a power saving option instead of high accuracy which I didn't realize so Google Maps would lose my location periodically.
Google Maps also didn't have all the permissions it should have had and didn't ask for them which I think might have something to do with the privacy laws in the EU that the EEA ROM was created to comply with.
After reading this, instead of just doing a factory reset I switched to global stable (I had already asked for unlock permission but never got around to do it). Google maps work without any issues, thank you very much

I got an OTA and updated to global miui 11 v11.0.2 and faced this problem.
When I use my Mi 9 about 1~2 days it suddenly reboot and get "Find Device Closed Unexpectedly" message
Does anyone know how to solve it?
same problem, MIUI Global 11.0.5.0 (QFAEUXM)
Same issue after Miui 11 (11.0.2.0 and 11.0.3.0). "nice" to see that its also happening on EU Roms, was already thinking about to switch back from global but looks like its not worth it.
I did a clean installation 2 days ago to see if it fixes the issue, but after 1 1/2 days it's back.
Edit.
Uninstalled now the xiamo device search via ADB. Lets see if this brings any improvement.
Edit2.
Not the best idea, device ends up in bootloop after reboot.
i used to get "find device closed unexpectedly" about once a day and it always happened at the same hour. i tried everything including ADB, hidden MIUI settings etc. to get rid of bloatware etc. - didn't work. then i changed to a USB router instead of USB tethering and there is no more issue
I did a clean hard reset and did not restore any data or Google backup on my device.
Everything was working fine for a week but then I set alarm clock and added a mi notice widget on Homescreen. As I woke up the next morning I had the error message again so I removed notice and widget and I forced stop app in app info.
Since then the error is gone again. Fingers crossed!
Does anyone find any same procedure sat its device? So maybe we can surround this problem?
Mine also comes up with an error message, something about not being able to log in to the sim card, I forget the specifics, I can always find it through Google anyway.
Same problem
I tried literally everything to wipe out the error but its still on my phone and freaking me out. Because I went on every foru google tells me, i watched any Youtube Video and tried and tried and tried. My only hope is a system update but who knows if that can fix it.
Good Luck to all of you with fixing this problem
I tried euu and global rom, both have the same problem. Not only in chinese rom. Hence i went back to miui 10. xiaomi is totally clumsy about android 10.

any solution ?
Maybe in Android 11 they will fix it...
I found a solution in another forum:
The unexpected interruptions of mobile and WiFi connections were forced because of AdGuard app.
What causes Adguard to block my internet connection?
I have noticed the same issue with all latest versions Stable or Nightly. This behavior has appeared for several months already. DNS Adguard / DNS google: same thing if AdGuard off 4G is working fine no trouble with wi-fi
forum.adguard.com
It looks like that there is no solution for that until today so I switched to AdAway VPN and the issue since then is gone.
I get some trouble with my 11 and android auto on uconnect 7 fca. The phone normally connects to to connect with aa, but after a phone calling, the audio (spotify ecc), start to hear from the phone speaker and not from the car speakers. Tried everything but no success.
got the same issue
Tried everything without success
What rom are yours?
I have the same problem, with Global EEA ROM.
Waiting 3 more days to unlock and flash xiaomi.eu. Hope it will solve the issue.
I confirm - xiaomi.eu weekly rom fixed the issue..
Is there any other solution.
I have MIUI 12.5.9 global and this problem persist.

Hm.. .9? I just got an update here of MIUI Global 12.5.7 and thought that was the latest. I still have the same problem though So annoying that I went back to an really old huawei phone instead.
Me too same issue, each time a firmware update comes I test it and I pray they fixed that annoying issue without any success. This issue is been since the day one I got the phone. This is sad since my old Oneplus 6 works just fine :/
The only way i find to resolve this problem was unlock bootloader and flash another rom, in my case One OS. :/

How is that rom otherwise compared to the Global rom?
I've spoke to some people of Xiaomi forums and the admin over there is claiming AA is broken not just on Xiaomi but also other phones and that is an Android 11 problem that was not resolved yet on Android open source project, not sure if that is true as I don't have another phone on Android 11 to test.
I've already opened a ticket with Xiaomi for that, several months ago. Still no updates on it. If someone has any other android 11 phone that is not xiaomi and could test to confirm it would be great!

As I understand there was an Android 11 problem that is solved. I have talked to people using andoid 11 on Oneplus devices that works fine they claim.
I have the problem only with Waze. After a phone call, Waze is hearing from the phone speaker. The rest of the apps working ok. It's a Skoda...
I had some problem also with Samsung Note 10 before and it was the same problem with Waze app but not on every phone call. Let's say 3 from 5.
I was wondering if anyone has tried Android Auto on their Mi 11 Ultra running the China ROM with Google Play Services installed. I tried on my car and kept getting a "no installed apps work with this USB accessory" message. I am reluctant to flash the Global or EU ROM as I heard there are other issues associated with those and the China ROM is the most polished. I don't really have any other issues aside from this so I was wondering if we could arrive at a workaround or fix.

Hello from Germany,
I use the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra with my Samsung Galaxy Buds + and have some Problem.
Read out notification is activated in the Samsung Werable app. Normally when a message comes from Whatsapp, for example, the notification tone should come and be announced Whatsapp. But unfortunately that does not work with the Mi 11 Ultra. With other devices it went without problems, only the Xiaomi gives me problems.
Does anyone have the same problems or is anyone known of a solution?
What hardware model and ROM version are you using?
Globar Version , First with 12.5.3, noch with EU Rom 12.5.7 .
No Differenz for the Problem
With the normal Mi 11 and Buds Pro, there were no problems. I will try it with Mi 11 Ultra again
No fix on EU 12.5.10 Problem is alive

As the EU version is based on the stock Chinese, have you added the bug to the official ROM bug list? It may be something Xiaomi are not aware of.
Same thing here and their Wear app doesn't recognize the buds pro so I can't configure anything :-(
