Magisk instalation problem

Hello, first of all I want to say that I've searched for the answer on forum for quite bit long time. Just couldn't find It. I have problem with geting magisk to work.
I've flashed stock room on my galaxy note 3 then TWRP.
By TWRP I've flashed magisk v12.0. Now I have magisk manager on my phone but I don't see the supersu manager anywhere. In magisk manager It says that I have root but root access is not granted. When I open magisk manager it doesnt prompt for root access. What should I do?
Magisk Manager is the superuser manager for MagiskSU.
Quite a few users have this issue actually: https://forum.xda-developers.com/search/thread/3432382?query=rooted but no root permission

SuperSU no longer prompting for root access

Like I said, if the default action is prompt, an app seeks root access and there is no prompt to grant it. If I change to grant as default, everything works. Root Checker, for instance, will fail to detect root in prompt mode but does so in grant mode. Same for Root Browser and, most importantly, Xposed.
I've tried reinstalling SuperSU. Didn't help. I have systemless root on a Moto X Pure and SuperSU 2.82.
I really don't want to leave it with grant as the default action. Not safe. I've been able to find a few other posts with a similar problem but they don't lead to solutions. This is a new behavior. Prompt used to work. About a week ago, I installed the latest version of Sensible Android Auto in Xposed. It worked twice and then stopped. My guess is that is the time when SuperSU stopped granting root. Everything that needs root can get root but ONLY if root is granted automatically to anything that asks for it.
Just rooted my Kyocera Event and deduced it to have the same problem. SuperSU 2.8.2 was not providing prompts and thus not granting root access, however changing to grant default did provide root. I tried installing SuperSU 2.7.9 rc4 but had the same result. I'm now just waiting for a definitive fix while looking for an alternative solution.

Magisk not giving full root access

Alright, so I just rooted my SM-T380 by flashing the latest Magisk with TWRP but many root apps (like ES File Explorer) are saying I don't have root access when I permanently granted them root permissions with Magisk... Also Root Checker Basic says root access is properly installed on my device. I've also tried uninstalling Magisk then reinstalling it but no results. My SM-T380 is currently on Android version 8.1.
What's going on here? And how could I fix this? I'm stumped here...
And could it possibly be SELinux causing some root apps not to work even though I granted them root permissions? (I don't know enough about SELinux to know if this is the main cause of this problem)
Take a look at this imgur album: imgur.com/a/zSJGQTa
(The imgur album shows you that root apps aren't working even though they have root permissions)

Tanix tx3 mini Magisk hide not working

hi guys,
i write you to have a support about magisk hide, on my Tanix Tx3 with firmware Build version: 20181210.
In particular i have installed magisk on my device with TWRP to hide the root permission at some application but this dosn't work correctly.
To hide the root permission on magisk I have make following steps:
to
installed magisk with TWRP
activated "magisk hide" from setting of magisk manager and then i have reboot the device;
inserted on section "migisk hide" the application "root checker" and then i have reboot the device;
checked with root checker application if magisk hide the root but the application (root checker) has detected root permissions
[/ LIST]
Furthemore, I tried to activated magisk hide from terminal emulator with "props" module but when i tried to verify the root permission on root check the result is the same.:crying:
in attach you can find the log by magisk, if it can help you to solve the problem
thanks lot
First thing to try is repackaging the Manager with a random name (it's in the Manager settings). More things to look at: https://www.didgeridoohan.com/magisk/MagiskHide#hn_Hiding_root_from_apps
And:

And you'll have to upload your log some other way, since you can't attach files with so few posts.

There's nothing Magisk can do about that. You would have to remove the built-in root.
How? No idea... If you're lucky @osm0sis' unSU script will work (all depends on how it's rooted):

That's not how MagiskHide works. Magisk can't hide apps, it only hides itself from other apps and services.

Yes there is, but again:
Magisk can only hide itself, it's own root and modules and the Manager. NOT any other root or other apps. Period.
