Hi,
I'm currently using pixel experience and I found out this rom isn't supporting apt-x. How can I enable it?

Hi to all devs,

They got it working, apt-X on AOSP rom for phone which original had it. So..... any magical luck that the codec is within those files and not just the bluetooth hardware chip? may be it will work for us. Thanks ......It's really good, can't live without.
Measurement proof of apt-X better than SBC. download the webinar from http://www.prismsound.com/test_measure/webinars.php?wid=19
lists of devices implementing apt-X http://www.jessebandersen.com/2012/05/list-of-apt-x-compatible-devices.html
Have you tried to flash the zip?
Hi guys, i saw a couple of posts asking about whether nexus 5 supports apt-X or not, i've bought a LGS-730 bluetooth headset and i can confirm that nexus 5 doesn't have the necessary codec to run apt-X. For those who don't know, apt-X is simply a codec that makes bluetooth headsets sound better and without lag. So, no apt-X with nexus 5. Im kinda dissapointed since htc one and S4 all have this codec, but whatever.
I believe LG G2 supports apt-X but not N5. We can't have everything with only 399$

It's just a codec though from what I cab read on the OP. I'm sure a dev can port it from the g2 if anything. I don't think codecs are really that much more expensive lol.

Yes, Nexus 5 support APT-X
You can download the file here:
aptXHD-system: https://forum.xda-developers.com/att...0&d=1489745531 libraries to /system/lib for Nexus phones / LineageOS
But only works with LineageOS roms

Nope, only works with caf based ROMs xd LineageOS is caf based that's why x)
I wanted to learn how to port roms. I was looking around and one website mentioned that both phones should be of similar specs. Did that mean that every spec should be same (like RAM, processor, etc) ? Can I port a OnePlus 3 ROM into my OnePlus 3t? Can I port a Pixel XL ROM to the 3t?
It's possible to make a OnePlus 3 ROM work on a OnePlus 3T with a little bit of effort. This is known as a unified ROM and is what Sultanxda did to his CM13 ROM. The Pixel XL is a totally different device, though. There's no way you're going to make a ROM work on both of those devices.

Thanks for replying. But I'm not talking about making a ROM work for both Pixel and 3T. I maybe misunderstood what porting means. I want to take a Pixel XL ROM and make it work in my 3T with a little editing of the ROM
What is the point? We have a growing number of fully official and hybrid ROMs on here and will just end up having more as time passes. Why not learn on building fresh?
Hello again guys, I have a simple question:
I have installed pixel experience ROM in my Moto G5S Plus and I was reading about the new features of the Android 8.0 Oreo and one of them is the "picture in picture" feature so I tried to use it but I couldn't, my question is: Is it possible to use it on Pixel experience ROM for a Moto G5S Plus XT1806?
I think yes. But it depends on the app. For example, YouTube supports picture-in-picture mode but you gotta pay for it. 10$ per year I think. So it depends on the app.
Hi,
I'm on Linageos17.1 at the moment, but it seems, this ROM isn't working with AA.
Does anyone have a recommendation for another cool Custom Rom which is running with Galaxy S10+ and wired AA?
Thanks allot
