P20 pro night shot

Hello all,
I just bought the p20 pro and it is working beautifully on t-mobile! My only issue is that my camera application does not have the night mode I've seen in multiple reviews (it's between aperture and portrait in the options) . If I got to more, I have a night shot mode but that was on my old mate 9 so I don't think it is the same. Can anyone clarify this? Thank you!

You answered your own question.

Place of night shot has been changed on newer firmware. You get the firmware update and nightshot will move to same place where it's on reviews.

My huawei nova 3 just got an update yesterday which is October 10, 2018, here in the philippines, it was kinda big like 800mb bought this last 2 weeks ago but I already did an update at that time.
Anyways Im just curious on the change log, what were the changes in this most recent version?
The system update page doesn't give any details at all, nor I cannot find any webpages in huawei website about this.
Does anyone know what is the change in this version?

can you not view it by tapping the current version in system update?

i have received the same update. Yet i have 0 idea what it changes. The chsnge log only mentioned good security update. And also i have a question about gpu turbo update as well. On Huawei Mate 10 pro the game suite has smart mode and gaming mode. But on Huawei Nova 3 it only has game acceleration. Im always wondered why there is a difference. Thank you !

Well, if there were any info , I wouldn't have asked, anyway yeah, no info on what that update is.

Every other Huawei worried about updating to 9.1, meanwhile here we are on 8.1

The forgotten Huawei Mate 20 lite C782. I see others complaining about not getting 9.1 others are downloading 9.1 yet here I am stuck on Android 8.1 December 2018 patch, wish I never bought this phone.

Well, just wait....
Huawei is not the one to blame (everytime) for slow implementation of the updates. The company already provided the update to the general public...
Many carriers are the ones that are slowing down that... If you have a unlocked/debranded version of the Mate 20 Lite, the update should appear quickly, but a branded/locked phone will take more time.
Make pressure with your carrier.

Same here dude, mines c782 and although its sim free unlocked, the phone is provided by vodafone and our version gets a custom rom.

Im still waiting, i must be on the next rollout, maybe end of week or next week. Whats it like?
If you go to apkmirror and download xiaomi daily wallpaper carousel i think its same.
Oh you mean on lock screen, change it back to magazine lock screen

Nice, more fluid i think, and the improvement on the apps it's notorius.
I like to not instal apps to do what the original phone does, but with the atualizacion the random wallpaper disapear.

That explains why i not got it yet lol, thought you were in UK, as my version c782 aswell. UK model

Same here UK C782 unlocked version not from a carrier, no security updates since December.
I've just bought a Pixel 3 XL so will now get regular updates etc. Tired of being held back by networks and slow OEMS.

Realme X2 Pro January Update

Hi friends,
Eversince I got my January update, my pubg Mobile in-game sound has reduced to a great extent.
Im still using the same HyperX Cloud Alpha headset that used to give very high volume with perfect footsteps sound, vehicle sounds etc. But now, I can I hardly hear any footsteps.
Its weird though because gunshots are still very loud.
I have done all possible volume tweeks (in pubg and on my phone) I even uninstalled and reinstalled pubg Mobile. It's still the same.
Your advise or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

You can always download update from website and install it again. I've got the trouble with yellowish screen and after re-update it repaired by itself.

You should specify your version, i think it is CN...

Size: 3.06GB
But I was actually looking for the January update tht came with December Security patch. Any advise on how to get the January update please? Thanks for your time.

I have just re-update the December patch as discussed. I m check pubg when I get home and will update. Thanks again. Much appreciated everyone!

Look on Realme India because they haven't updated the European site since November.India and EU software is the same

Honestly, realme Europe is very disappointing. Even their social media representatives never responds to any queries. Customer service is lways better in India and North America. In Europe, it sucks everywhere when it comes to customer service.

Yea,I emailed them a few times prior to buying the phone,they responed fairly quickly back then but seem to have gone quiet now,no updates to Support page etc.They do however seem to be releasing OTAs in Europe which is good,but I'll be keeping an eye on the Indian site now going forward

Before the launch in EU, they were prompt. I agree. But now, it's zero. Check Realme Europe Twitter handle, there are 100s of unanswered tweets. Lol

Has anyone tried if Android Auto works on the CN version of the Oppo Find x5 Pro 512gb?
Bought one and hoping it does with Gservices sideloaded.

Yes I will but I don't use android auto though.

I'm in China and thinking to buy one. Can you explain me how to flash the global firmware? Or is it just enough install the GApps?

Just got mine a week ago. Android Auto did NOT work for me. When I hit "wireless Android Auto" link, the screen goes blank white, and can't do anything.

Has anyone been able to run Android auto on Chinese device?

I have faith! When i tried to connect by wireless my screen went white as someone said here before.... But!
I updated to a newer version and it didn't do it at all! (See files attached)
I'm still waiting to get the car and try it but the new version, allow, by theory, to do it!

Did you tried *wired* android auto?

AA is not preinstall in the ColorOS12 rom, it won't work.
