You're another Note user with the same problem. This is a common issue with the Galaxy Notes called "Ghost Mode" or "Crazy Mode", It still charging even if you unplug the cable, and the screen does not turn off (also, in a couple of hours you will see that the Clock and the Driving Mode are turning off and on every time). Its a hardware problem, not software. Happens after months, years or even weeks after buying the device. It covers the warranty so leave it at a Samsung Service Center and they will send you a repaired usb port or a new phone (mine was happend the same issue and Samsung gave me a new phone). Hope it helps you. Sorry my bad english, greetings from Argentina!

Charge it for longer time. try different charger USB, if it doesn't work, return the item.

Have you tried another charger and have you checked to see if the charger is loose I.E the USB cable? Also it might be the phone, did you ask the seller on eBay about the battery?

I tried another charger, and nothing :/
I try now to connect my phone on USB to my PC but nothing too.
The seller said me that he don't know because the phone worked before he send me and he thinks that is the battery

You might be able to dispute the transaction because of this, the phone is definitely the problem. If you can't, I suppose send the phone to HTC.

I'm not sure about that. In India, you have to pay postal charges, if the item is bought domestically over eBay.
I've had this happen before I had to open the phone, disconnect the power ribbon from the battery and reconnect it. It immediately started charging again

Hi guys,
I'm having issues with my Mi mix where it just shut down by its self and will no longer boot up anymore, it will load the Mix logo for a few seconds (after the initial Mi one) before shutting down. I can access the recovery, and have tried flashing a new rom, as well as fastbooted the original rom on. Is there any way to fix this?
Also, when plugging in the charge cable it will show charging, but stuck on 67%, it doesnt go above that with overnight charging.
Cheers,

Well maybe unplugging battery for a while may sort it, watch a teardown before attempting, I suspect the battery is actually flat and needs charging but it's stuck in some weird situation. You didn't say wether it was rooted with TWRP.

Thanks for the reply, I've unplugged it and tried rebooting, which it still wouldnt do. I have ordered a replacement battery just in case. And yeah it was rooted with TWRP running EpicRom when the shut down occured.

Leave it overnight unplugged, them replacement batteries are ****e, that's all of them, it could be a motherboard fault, not sounding like battery problem

Leave it charging for 12 hours, it does sound like the battery was flat and giving false reading, hopefully leaving it on charge overnight will bring it back to life.
Which replacement battery have you purchased. You sure you connected the battery correctly

My Note 8 has been great, I bought it last year brand spankers. But, since one week, after it drops to 15 percent, it just turns off. I have been using a genuine charger and rarely charge beyond 91-95... sometimes to a 100.
I know this issue has been addressed before but I have tried a cache wipe, a battery caliberation and a system wipe. it keeps doing this. I don't want to have a battery replacement since it would void warranty... anything I am missing out?
any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks everyone.
the biggest damage to batteries occurs precisely when going very low or completely depleted, not when going up to 100%
Have you tried taking your device to a Samsung Service Centre?

Your battery is dead.
Get a new one at a Samsung Service Center or change it by yourself (Void Warranty).

the answer is implied, you tried to take care of your battery by not charging to 100%, but in fact you neglected the real reason why batteries fail prematurely, which is deep discharging or worst, totally depleting it, so the answer is, no way to fix your "battery drain" , only way to go is a new battery
So 3 days ago i whent in to my local phone repair shop beacuse i had a swolen battery and now my phone whont charge with my supercharger... Does anyone know how to fix it

Swollen battery is usually due to excessive heat, overcharging normally being the primary cause.
You need to RMA your device. Chances are they'll swap out the unit so if you had a bootloader unlock code and they do swap it rather than just the battery you'll lose the ability to unlock.
You should still be under warranty so go via the official route, or an authorized tech..
