Hey guys, a few days ago suddenly my phone screen went black, I tried resetting it and stuff but it remained the same, it gets past the bold like us and the blu screen normally and stuff but then it takes me to a black screen and if I touch the screen when turned on it suddenly shows a piece of the Blu default wallpaper before turning black again, if I plug it to my pc while on it shows the media device and I can import pics and videos to my pc and I also have access to the factory reset screen.
Is there any way I can save it? The phone is the 8gb/1gb version, thanks btw

So I looked at my screen tonight on my tilt and it was just black.
My Tilt screen has died before and it was a bright white, this is just black. When the machine goes into power standby the black gets a little darker. It responds to touch.
I was able to connect with MyMobiler and access the phone successfully but it's not longer working for some reason. I can still sync and browse my phone from windows.
I did a search and saw that restoring the phone to factory settings may fix this, but I can't seem to do it without a functioning screen.
Regardless, is this screen bricked? Should I try for another warranty replacement? I've already had one... this is stupid.
Any ideas? Thanks

A month ago my screen suddenly went completely dead, the phone it self was functioning normally except the screen, \
so i posted this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/help/how-to-make-screen-dead-t3175115
then i decided to tear down the phone, i did and i played abit with the lcd flex cable, i got the screen to work but with very low brightness and a lot of blinking, i played a bit more with the same cable
and tried powering up the phone, the screen gone completely black again so i thought i broke the cable
i ended up buying this

it arrived and i played a youtube video of the device dis-assembly and copied every step exactly, tried powering the phone up and the new screen is black!
anyone have an idea what's going on?

Maybe something not connected, or because it's aftermarket screen. There are lots of screens for sale but I don't believe they all work as good as the OEM screen.

Did you ask the seller to exchange the item? There is always a 10% chance of a black screen when buying a replacement screen.
If you tested the screen by just connecting it to the motherboard,and it didnt work,you should be able to get a replacement for free(but you will probably have to pay for the shipping when sending the broken one back)
By the way. I need to get a new screen replacement(the current one started flickering and glitching after 5 days of usage-I literally held the phone on the desk,answering calls and putting it back on the desk,so I couldn´t have damaged it),but I cant waste money. Was the package in a good state?
If anyone can recommend a cheap,but working screen(I dont care much about the 10% weaker colors,I just dont want the screen to flicker and glitch out),I would be extremely grateful.

I had an unfortunate accident where my phone fell in the toilet...
It kept on going ok for the first hour or so, but after a while it went crazy, self switching between black screen and the homepage
Ultimately, it is stuck on a black screen mode - where you can see the clock, weather and date on the upper-middle right side of the phone, as well as the number of steps who is still being updated. When I connect it to the charger it shows the battery status.
I have tried to restart it a couple of times, but after less than a second where my homepage is visible, it switches back to the black screen.
I can receive calls (it looks little of the screen, I can use the touch screen to answer/decline the call) and I am still connected to the net as the whatsapp on my computer is still on.
How can I fix this problem?
I bought this phone in China in Oct 2016 and it was working ok until now.

I bought a screen of eBay which said it was OEM but who knows? Anyway I had the screen installed at a phone repair shop and it seemed to work fine until I walked out of the store and turned it on to notice that the screen was black and white. I turned it on and off again and it went back to normal but i went in to tell them anyway when i was walking in I turned the screen in and off a couple times to see if I could get it to go black and white again and sure enough if did. It seems to turn black and white every couple times I turn it on and off. It doesn't flicker back and forth and it doesn't charge when I'm using the phone also i had a custom ROM installed so I got rid of that to see if it would fix it it didn't and I reset the entire device to no avail but I did notice that to this point I haven't had it go black and white while in the boot-loader and i have tried a lot turning it on and off again and again. I also noticed that there are lines bouncing in the background when the screen is black and white which are also visible when the screen is normal but only barely. Apart from that the screen seems to shake when its in black and white and sometimes the touch wont work for a couple seconds its not a big deal because you can just turn the screen on and off to fix it but its a very strange problem i have contacted the seller and I talked to the man who installed it but I was wondering if it was possible that it was some kind of software issue it seems unlikely but the fact that it doesn't flicker on and off its just either on or off and the fact that i cant seem to get it to happen in the boot-loader is making me wonder I also tried recording my screen and the screen was recorded normally when it was black and white to me.
Hello all, so recently I dropped my phone from a decent height, but it worked fine that night, and even the morning after, didn't even crack.
It started acting weird and going black when I would swipe down my notification menu, and I'd have to restart the phone each time, but if I got rid of those notifications it would work alright for a couple of minutes and go black. After restarting it a few times the Samsung logo didn't even show up anymore and the display hasn't come on since then, even in recovery mode. I can hear it booted up, and have even plugged it into a DeX dock to use it, and that works fine, even the touchscreen, just no display. I've flashed the latest software onto it using Odin, and still nothing.
So, my question here is: Could this possibly be a software issue? Or does it seem more like the display was damaged in some way or another, (or even possibly came disconnected from the motherboard?)
