*******O2 XDA IIi failed to update Chinese ROM*******

Hi, pals! I have an XDA IIi-PH10C with the original ROM as followed:
ROM Version: 1.11.00WWE
ROM date: 01/27/05
Radio version: 1.00.00
Protocol version: 1337.39
ExtROM version: 1.11.162WWE
Yesterday I downloaded the newest ROM from O2 website and updated to 1.11.171WWE successfully. Today I thought why not update a Chinese ROM, so I downloaded the CHT ROM from this link:

I followed the instructions carefully but right after the program had checked the device information and I click 'Update' buttom, the program gave me this error message:
'ERROR 120:COUNTRYID ERROR'
The updated had been terminated.
Are there anything wrong with the ROM? I had been thinking maybe the ROM was not suitable with my XDA IIi. XDA IIi was also known as Dopod699, is this the problem? But I knew someone in this forum had updated Chinese ROM successfully. I am really confused now, I would be very grateful if somebody be so kind to share his experience. A million thanks!!!!!!

Chinese language support patch installed
I had been trying servel times, it kept giving me the same error message. So I took a compromise: install a Chinese langage support patch(downloaded from http://www.hi-pda.com).
I think this patch works very well, my XDA IIi displays Chinese characters properly, I can even send a CHS message after I installed PlumSIP. Now I realy enjoy my XDA which has an English ROM and CHS support.

hi mate...u better install a CHN language support and select the region as P.R. CHINA. THEN try2 update again i dun think the prob will occur..
another idea is that u flash the rom rite after a hardreset. but use USB cable to connect the pc in this case...and the device will be syn as a guest and recognised.

I think I don't have to update CHT ROM right now, becuase WWE ROM with CHN language support is the best solution for me.

或直接连USB，先运行MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe，会报错，不要动，再运行一次MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe

HTC Original Rom

Hey Guys,
I know this may sound really stupid, but I've just bought a new AT&T Tilt, and I was looking for the original HTC rom that I can flash on my phone.
I've tried searching the forum, but I couldnt find the original one.
Can someone help me out!

my Tilt came pre loaded with the following ROM
ROM Version: 1.57.502.2
ROM Date: 08/25/07
Radio Version: 1.27.12.11
Protocol Version: 22.45.88.07H
Is it okay to flash my phone with the HTC ROM? Or would that be downgrading it? Also, i read somewhere about a bluetooth audio problem with the ROM, is that something to worry about or fix later, after I flash my phone?

Radio reception x1 - upgrade?

Hi guys
I have recently got the X1 and I really like it, but the reception at my home in Auckland, NZ, is terrible compared with my previous SE P1i. It is dropping out while sitting still.
Is it possible to upgrade the radio firmware or something? Can you link me to instructions or the right one for me to use??
I am no expert in this, and I did look on the forums without success.

I am willing to try and install this, but I would really appreciate it if someone could offer some clear guidance on this.
I installed Kovsimg already to upgrade the phone previously, but that is the extent of my knowledge.
This thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532249 seems to have the right links for the download. But when I started it, all indications were that my whole ROM would be flashed, and that does not seem right???
Any help would be awesome guys...

It is brilliant and answered most questions. I just went ahead and let the upgrade go and it just updated my phone radio, and this has improved the signal strength showing straight away.

Fastboot with chinese characters on my Htc One

Hi guys, yesterday i purchased an htc one used from a guy of my town, now i would like to come back stock original to start use it
but i've found that if i try to enter in fastboot i see chinese character, why? what can i do to restore normal characters?
i don't know if the phone it's been modded by the other user, in the info i see:

Ewaygps mcu? - ew806p6qh

Hi,
I'm looking for my Ewaygps EW806P6QH MCU update files (or any files for that unite). I try to contact with distributor but I think they don't support customers with basic IT, or any support. I try to find it and I didn't so I need to ask you gays.
If you know haw to find it or haw to look for it please let me know. I don't even know what type of MCU is there I saw on youtube that someone have 5.3.18-13-B52-253201-160420 on same unit. What type is that? Do I can install differed MCU on my unite? Haw I can do it? etc.
All this is because I lost all MCU files on my Radio and now I don't know where to find update files to restore normal funciality of my radio.
