Hello to all from Russia!
I've issue w my N950F,did somebody solved it before...idk
Yesterday i watched photos from my gallery-phone was charged, about 60%,warm,not heated
And he just turned off
W/o any notifications,nothing
I've tried all button combinations,all instructions-nothing
PC can't see it,when charge connected it's getting heat
Last SER rom rooted
Try and reinstall the stock OS back onto it. See if that helps. Could be a software issue with the customOS

Have tried rebooting both your phone and computer and trying again. 9 times out of ten rebooting usually solves most of my Kies issues.

Android is fine - it's Samsung's mickey mouse software that's the problem. Kies is utter crap.

since i don't have a spare battery i\ll just take it directly to the center but......will they refuse to fix it if they find out it was rooted ?
if there is no recovery or download mode.. then it will really be impossible to see if the phone was rooted or not

thank you very much appreciate it
Evening,
Today my phone has developed a very annoying problem. It doesn't want to charge up from the mains or be detected by a computer, so the battery is running down. The only way to charge my phone is if I turn it off. I haven't dropped the phone and am UN aware of any damage I have caused. The phone did once warn me that it was in usb host mode and can't charge but this warning is now gone and the problem remains.
Currently s-off running the latest viper Rom. Tried reflashing and starting fresh but not made a difference. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Who ever sorts it I will even buy you a beer via PayPal
Try to go on stock firmware and look if you have same insuess, next step if the problem persists is going full restock(s-on locked) and call htc for pick up ur phone

yea 4 different times even taking the battery out before trying and holding it for over half a minute, nothing.
Well, the next thing I would try is pull the battery, plug in the usb to a pc and try the three button hold again.
i did that too, my computer would just tell me it couldn't recognize the usb device.

Go into device manager and see if the appropriate drivers are installed. If they aren't there, the device will show up with a little triangle on the icon.

yup they were the first thing i went to install since i was following a guide, in fact it's still in my computer i just checked.
Have you tried reinstalling the Samsung drivers?
Do that first. Uninstall the Samsung drivers. Then reinstall. Plug in phone. Then open Odin and try and flash.
Unless you messed with the boot loaders it should flash. The fact that windows recognizes that something is plugged in means it reads something on the phone. So it's not completely bricked.
it only detects something is there when i pull the battery out and put it back in and then plug it but if i unplug and replug it, it won't read anything anymore but i'll give it a try thanks.
Worst case scenario you've got a hardbrick and will need to JTAG into the device and force the firmware onto it.

well my computer just tells me that it can't recognize the usb device and that it might be damaged, but another problem i have is i can't find the firmware for this phone, It's G900AUCU2AND3 and i can find everything except ND3 i found NCE but can i still flash that? Because i thought it had to be the exact same firmware of the phone for it to work.

At this point I'd say all you can do is take it to your local Best Buy and ask them to flash NCE on it. If you try to flash NCE on a UCU2 by yourself it'll fail the qfuse check.

Hi, i have a problem with my note 8. Phone is bricked, I bought this phone for cheap, it has cracked screen, but wisible. Problem is, that is not turning on. Recovery, system or battery charging doesn't show off, only working mode is download. I tried install software with odin (4 files), but after install odin says PASS, but phone is turning off again. Do you have any ideas? Is it possible that this is battery problem?
(KNOX is 0x0)
I would return it and get your money back. As there is a chance that the SSD is damaged.

Hi am wondering if you could help with my Galaxy Note 8
I am able to install the firmware using ODIN without any errors on download mode but after ODIN is finished the phone turns off and does not boot.
I have taken the phone to a repair shop as well and they have confirmed that there is no hardware issues,
Phone model number is SM-950F

I need more information bro Did you install a custom OS or the official Stock Samsung OS? Are you sure you installed the correct device's OS onto your device? Can you charge the phone via the USB charger? Etc, etc

In that case I believe that there is an issue with the installation of the software onto your device. I would try reinstalling it again.

Be sure to purchase the correct motherboard for you device. As you do not want to purchase an Snapdragon SOC motherboard for a Exynos device. As Snapdragon Modems will not work with Exynos motherboards.
