ive been a while here and use xda many times.
I'm very happy about the forum and the member who work here. You all do very well.
Now, i searched for a Problem ive got, but didnt found a solution. I hope you can help me, move this thread to the right forum and/or can help me.
Ive bought a LED stripe RGB and contrile it with the "Magic Light" App. Everything works well.
Now ive got the idea to use NFC.
So when I come I to the room, i can hold my Smartphone on the nfc Chip, which uses the Tag "switch light on"
ive found the xda Video for "ifttt.com" which didnt work for me. i thoguh for an command via widget or something else, but also no solution. Do you have an idea?

im new to this forum
and i´ve one big question that really concerns me.
After two days of using my new XDA Diamond i see a flickering of the bottom line of the windows task list (telephone and programs). This flickering does not occur all the time but normally starts when i use themes with gradient, bright colors like the stock themes installed (Mobile 6.1 and so on).
If i use a theme with only one color this flickering is not observable anymore.
I´ve read some forums for these problems and mainly found them just for the Touch HD.
Is there any way to get around this problem or do i have send it back for repair ?
All and all i´m happy with this phone, so i don´t want to wait for a new one.
But if somebody tells me this is because of defective hardware i would like to have it replaced.

hey guys i have upgrade some thing to do sharpness picture on my tilt and now
i just see black screen.
after i take the picture i can see the pic but when i turn on the camera its show blank black screen
i have been searching for alot of msg on the forum and i didnt found any solution
please guys there is a solution?
I don't know about everyone else, but every time I've installed anything and gave undesired results, had bugs, etc. I just uninstall it. Try that. If it fixes the problem, then there ya go.
Radio
Every time this has happened to me or someone I know the radio you are using isn't compatible with the Rom. Flash to a differant radio and see if that fixes you problem
Are you really going to start a new thread " every " time you have a problem ? You have 25 posts and you have already started 7 new threads. I don't think I have started 7 new threads in 1600 posts.

To answer today's new thread, try a different radio, or one of the many camera updates that you would have found in the many...many...many threads already started on this subject, that a simple search would have led you to. Otherwise, the camera sucks , deal with it.

I've installed CM10 by kallt_kaffe and I've been quite happy with this rom for some time. But after a couple of days of using this rom, I noticed G-sensor doesn't work properly in games. For example, when I use it as a wheel drive in race games, the cars always turn left a little, so to straighten direction I have to compensate by turning tablet in opposite direction. I tried to calibrate G-sensor. But I didn't find this function in settings. Then I searched CM forums and found out that I'm not alone with this problem. A similar problem occured not only with Galaxy tab 8.9, but also with other devices which use CM10. There were suggestions to calibrate tablet's sensor using apps like Sensor tester, GPS status, but nothing helped. Unfortunately, I haven't found the solution which solves this problem.
I don't have rights to ask this question in developer's thread, so I desided to open separate thread.
This happens on the HTC one that I ordered from Amazon three weeks ago. This afternoon
I was extensively using apps such as facebook and wechat. After that, this evening,
I found occasionally right after I opened an app, a red frame flashed around the border of the
screen. It happened quite frequently and I had to try the restart. Interesting thing is that
towards the end of the reboot, the red border flashed again. I used a DSLR to catch
the moment. Please see the attached photo below.
I searched the internet and found people had similar issues on their previous HTC device.
A solution to this is unchecking the "Strict Mode" in the Developer options. I did and
it seemed working. But I would like to know what this strict mode does and why
disabling it would make the red frame go away. Or is there something wrong with
the phone? Thanks!!!

Nothing is wrong with your phone. Strict mode should have never been enabled in the first place. It is a developer tool to assist app developers (hence the reason it's in the developer options). The red box is to warn/notify the developer when an app performs a long operation on the main thread. I don't know why it would have been enabled on your phone, unless you were sold a phone that someone else had used, and they turned Strict mode on.
Before I read your post, I didn't know anything about Strict Mode, but a quick Google search answered the question, so I'm passing on the info to you.

I just bought my Mi 9 yesterday and I have some really annoying problems with those Notifications... Like many people I don't get notifications properly shown in the status bar, which I solved somehow with that: https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/themes/app-notification-fix-mi-9-t3918964
That's nice so far, even though it does not work 100% of the time.
But whats really a pain in the ass is, that I dont get notifications on the lock screen either and also no LED notifications. Also while charging the LED isnt working. That means somehow the phone is unusable for a big part of it's purpose right? Nothing helped
Do I miss something or is everyone just accepting this huge bug and no one knows to to anythin about it? No workaround, no solution?
I even think about returning the phone. How is it possible this phone gets such great reviews and test results everywhere if it has such MAJOR problems?
Additionally I can't save pictures taken with the camera if it's opened via shortcut (double press AI button).. someone already mentioned that here and didn't get any help...
If anyone has informations, solutions or workaround for those problems, I'd be super thankful
Edit: Im on MIUI Global 10.2.24 and I'm using the POCO Launcher...
I have the same problems.
Led blinks only in white colour for a short time and that's it. Very annoying and I also don't get icons in status bar.
Is it really just a official bug in the global ROM?
