Every time I have to do this to open any app and to even type a letter or select an app. What could be the issue? Please help me, already did wipe the data/ format and reset and removed apps and used basic apps. Still doesn't work. Please help me :crying:

Hey guys,
I have serious problems with my Diamond. After installing HTC Home screen, my device can't startup. After I enter my pin, the system freezes completely, and resets. If I do nothing it just automatically resets after 30 secs. and again, and again.
Sometimes I manage to get into the system, but the graphics are all scewed and I can't do a hard reset, because I can't press the 1234 code (no input button). I tried to remove the programme, but it freezes up and restarts before the job is done..
Any suggestions?

Closing thread - I figured out how I can hard-reset without going into settings. Here's how http://www.hardreset.eu/htc_touch_diamond_hard_reset_soft_reset_en.html just in case anyone else experience this problem
So... I installed custom ROM and now I want to hard reset X1...
I came to dialog where it says to press [R] key to reset or [X] key to cancel, but my keyboard doesn't work on that screen My keyboard usually works (its new, clean etc.) but when it says to press R key to hard reset it just stops working
Anyone with idea, same problem?!
Please help!

Hello everybody,
I was doing a lot of research on this issue and was using the search function of course, however I was not able to find a fix to the problem I am experiencing.
I have a Samsung at&t captivate with cyanogenmod 10.0 installed.
The problem:
Lately I experienced strange touchscreen problems, where it seemed that my phone did what it wants to do. Opening google maps zooming in and out, opening other apps and it even called a friend one time. All that did not seem to follow any pattern, it was more like someone randomly touched on my screen.
What I tried:
After doing some research, I booted to recovery and deleted the cache and dalvik cache. After I rebootet the phone everything seemed alright, except for when writing a message, some keys "p" and "?" where not working.
So I rebootet to recovery again and did a factory reset, and installed cyanogenmod 10.0 again. Everything seemed alright at the beginning, but when I clicked my way through the welcome process, I noticed that the "p" key does not work again, all the other keys though, especially the ones in the bottom right corner, work just fine.
And here comes the problem: On the next screen "Google & location", I can not press the ">" button to proceed in the bottom right corner!
Do you think it is a hardware problem? What is against this is, that the same spot where the ">" button appears, works fine on the other screen, when I enter my Email adress.
Every kind of help is very much appreciated!! Thank you all in advance!
Best,
Moritz

I'm thinking you might have to go back to Stock KK4 and start fresh. If that doesn't work, it's most likely a hardware issue (humidity perhaps). If it comes down to that, take apart the phone and put it in a bag of rice for a couple days. Now if that doesn't fix it, you might have to get a new screen
I'd add bad screen protector to the humidity/hardware list. the key is that it keeps recurring in the same place on the screen. if you rotate the keyboard 90 degrees, does the p key work?

please help my phone is acting possessed. When i press the unlock, the phone starts acting as if i am touching the screen everywhere. It unlicks itself and starts open apps closing them opening different apps and when i press the back button two or three more things open. I have factory reset the phone three times and still nothing. Please help!!
Factory reset & wipe cache & davlik cache. It might work & might not.

Sounds like a hardware issue since factory reset isn't fixing it.
Hi, I met the weirdest thing I ever have. I have a galaxy camera gc100, It works very well without any problems. Since I decide to lend it to my friend, I did a factory reset. After the factory rest, everything looks fine and the initial setup screen "Select language" appears. BUT, I can not touch anything on the screen. It seems that the touch is simply unresponsive at all until the screen turns off by timeout. And then I tried hard reboot, go to Maintenance boot mode by pressing power and zoom out and did delete cache and factory reset again. But none of them works. This is just weird and I can not find anyone on the Internet having the same issue as me. Other people met unresponsive touch screen and then did hard reset to fix the issue. Mine is entirely opposite. I don't have any problems, but factory/hard reset causing the touch screen is unresponsive at initial setup screen. Do anyone have any clue how I can workaround this issue? Thanks a lot.
