So today was/is the day. Anyone in EU got it yet?
A Dutch website says we can expect the update on the 22nd in Holland.. So you may have to be patient.

Nothing. But some website says from 22th and not 4th february
Google on Samsung Newsroom and the name of your Country in your language. The news about the update was published on January 26 in all EU countries. The UK site says update roll out on the 4th, e.g. Holland and Spain say roll out on the 22nd. The Germany page doesn't give a date.
There's nothing on the Italian site, not even the January 26 announcement. As usual, I would say...
Just checked ; 22th february for Belgium

In DUA7 from SM-R820 I can only count 26...
And XAR US users are the only 1 with ECG only... no other CSC has this "magic"...
Only as info.

En la página oficial de Samsung en España dice marzo. Lo han anunciado hace tiempo, que será en marzo.
I've read somewhere about Feb22 for Croatia too.
@mrfatiga22 Nosotros usamos el idioma ingles aqui.
Anyone has got the update ?
Edit: just receive it now in Belgium for R840
I am downloading it as we speak, CSC = PHE.
just received the update for GW3 in Bulgaria and installed on watch; however my phone (Samsung Galaxy A70) is with changed country (SKK Ukraine) in order to enable built in call recorder; and maybe that is why when I download the official SHM on the phone it says "Service not available in your country"... will need to look for a workaround
I use ILO (Israel) CSC on my phone, for the same reason and SHM is not available in Galaxy Store. I tried v183 from Apkmirror but it's not working - "not available in your country". Modded version v183 works but BP is not synced with Samsung Health.
I'm in EU.
List of countries are extracted from SHM directly and listed on the thread if anyone wish to know further, the countries are listed as country codes... also SMH checks your GeoLocation, Sim Card, and Device CSC...
Any of these 3 not listed in the list if I'm not wrong will flag service not available in your country...

Thank you - I used the modded 183 version and it did work as described. (I tried earlier with the modded 175 version but phone was asking for SHM to update to v.183 and closing). All good now, same as before, only as you said BP does not auto sync with SH...
Today I got the update in Germany.

Any body know when oficial gingerbread relase ?
today is april7
I heard that a quasi-official representative for a PR company that works with Samsung posted a leaked email on their Facebook page last month, which had been translated from Finnish by a Croatian living in Tripoli.
This clearly suggested that Gingerbread would probably be "officially, more or less" released for some Galaxy S i9000 models (the T and the W, but not the B or M or the ultra rare C~ variant, as well as for International models released in landlocked countries) on "around about the twelfth of Neverwas, or 5 days before the fifth full moon in August...give or take a few equinoxes either way".
...IN short, no one knows anything for sure. Just lots of hearsay.
I have the twelfth of never from a reliable sauce .

Coming damn soon to unlocked i9000's... dunno about i9003 which I own, asked sammy india tweeter a/c, didnt reply yet...

Samsung tests in advance of the upgrade is now completely in the final stages, and in the middle of April rolled out the upgrade for mobile that is not linked to specific operators. In mid-May is also the Android 2.3 made available for operator-specific phones.
The upgrade will be available through Samsung's software Samsung Kies.

About the same text on Samsung's norwegian, finnish and swedish sites..
^^ So that means a week to go till mid April for us, unlocked folks!
BTW, an Opera fan too...
I clearly made a mistake buying a German Galaxy Tab (DBT) last year because it seems to be a very low priority market for Samsung since they do not even have a working homepage and have not yet released any upgrades to Gingerbread. In Sweden were I live with 1/10 of the population the service is working much better!
Q: Have anyone with a GT-P1000CWADBT got the 2.3.3 in KIES?
Q: Can I send my SGT to Samsung.se and get a NEE firmware?
/Thanks
NEE Firmware
Perhaps someone there is able to help:

Prob not.
Remember they have released loads of updates in different countries already and that's what it means I think.
If it was GB they would have updated the spec and there would be much more press coverage via tech sites / their own twitter feeds etc
A V10E has been released in Hong Kong so it's still Froyo.
Ok... I am back to waiting position
very funny
I received the picture below .... 2 minutes ago ...
The problem is not that the servers... not working right now for some reason... but people at LG believe that today we are in July ...

People from LG .... wake up! we are already in the month named August (08)
my coutry will get gb in october
in america, europe maybe september not sure about the date
VOG-L09 is a European, unlocked, single-SIM model of the P30 Pro.
I currently have build 9.1.0.240, which was released in late November.
However, Huawei released their Android 10 firmware for this phone in early December, yet I still see nothing when I check for updates.
Any ideas?

For an official release you will have to wait untill FEBRUARY 2020. More info on my post from here or @ adamlee2012 post from here.
If you want to get EMUI 10 before FEBRUARY 2020, you can take a look at my post from here and flash it.

Presumably, that will wipe all data from my phone?
I can not do this as Barclays, like many banking apps, will not work properly for several days after a new phone/new flash due to security concerns.

YES, it will wipe your phone's data. DON'T update if you use bank app as token or GPay, because they have issuse on EMUI 10. Huawei DID said on those software updates and i posted about it that there will be issues with bank apps or other payment options...
''This version is designed for you to experience new software features in advance, thus giving us feedback for further software improvement.
Below are known issues with this version that may affect your daily use. Do not install this update if you frequently use the apps or features concerned.
1. Some banking apps are not compatible with Android 10. This issue can be resolved only after compatible app versions are released.
2. Some instant messaging apps are not compatible with Android 10, and may encounter issues when sending images. Restart the app to fix this issue.
3. Silent mode will be enabled by default for notifications from instant messaging apps if you disabled sound and vibration alerts for them before installing this update. The alert mode can be modified in the app settings according to your preferences.''
SO NO RUSH for you or other users, just wait for FEBRUARY 2020 or the next dload release which we hope it will be compatible with ALL banks apps
Cheers,
SilviuO

Very much appreciated.
I will be patient.
Out of curiosity; the filename (VOGUE-L09C 10.0.0.173(C431E19R2P5)_Firmware_NA_EMUI10.0.0_050 16EBU) suggests VOG-L09 is a North American model.
I know that VOG-L09 is the standard retail model sold in the United Kingdom, as I have one.
Is the same model sold in both countries?

The name VOGUE-L09C 10.0.0.173(C431E19R2P5)_Firmware_NA_EMUI10.0.0_050 16EBU is the one set by HUAWEI and is not about North America. I have a VOG-L29 C431 and flashed VOGUE-L29C 10.0.0.173(C431E19R2P5)_Firmware_NA_EMUI10.0.0_050 15SFX version and works like a charm (and my bank apps from Romania are working too). This firmware is for EUROPEEAN models that have build VOG-L09 (SINGLE SIM) and VOG-L29 (DUAL SIM) and CUST C431.
I was on 10 little hickup here and there but all seem to work. I went back to 9.1. I did notice my battery life lasted longer not by allot but.. I did notice

Maybe SOT and battery life on the final version will be as good as is now on EMUI 9.1. After all, Huawei did said that those 2 versions released (v168 & v173) are just for us to use and give them feedback, LIKE A PRE-RELEASE firmware, so i'm sure our got to them

Hi mate, I used Barlcays app too and I've flashed Android 10 via the method SilviuO linked you. Everything works fine with the banking app, obviously you need to wait 10 days for the rest of the features to come through but if this is a problem you could try ringing Customer Service up and asking them to remove the temporary restrictions.
Better option than waiting till who knows when it will be released in the UK, especially with EE who are notorious for delayed updates.
Hi All
I hope everyone is looking after each other. I have a G7 plus which I ordered online mid last year. I'm in Australia and I have found out the phone is from Bulgaria. Anyhow it's been a disaster. Apparently Bulgaria aren't releasing Android 10. I guess my question is how can I get it? I'm pretty tech savvy and can follow your advice. Advice which would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Trent

Hey Trent, hope you're keeping well too!
Do you know what your software channel is? It's in your phone settings.
I wouldn't dismiss not getting Android 10 just yet - I know the UK just got it a day or so ago and even myself (in Canada, Latin American version from Amazon) just got it about three weeks ago.
To answer you directly, I'm not aware of any way to force the update if the ROM is not available for your channel yet.
Motorola is notoriously slow at releasing and rolling out updates (they announced the Android 10 roll out in January and here we are in April) so hang in there - as far as I am aware all G7+ should be getting this update so give it a bit more time.

Thanks for your prompt reply. The software channel is reteu. The reason I'm concerned is I know in Australia they've had Android 10 for awhile and when I checked on the Bulgarian site it said they weren't updating the G7. I just hope if they do it works in Australia

Oh hmm.
According to reddit reteu should have gotten it:
Finally! (Moto G7 plus reteu)
I was under the impression that your physical location didn't matter, just your channel did but I could be wrong.
One thing I would be tempted to try is setting up a VPN and connecting to a server in Australia.
You might also want to post on the "official" Motorola forum for our devices:

Whoops, yes. Lack of coffee in the morning when I wrote that!
If that's not possible to find a VPN endpoint in Bulgaria then I think any European country should do because "reteu" is "Retail Europe".
I hope it works although I'm grasping at straws here - I'm on retla ("Retail Latin America") and physically in Canada and I am pretty sure the update came out the same time for all devices on retla regardless of location.
But it doesn't hurt to try, right?

That's just bizarre. What's the address for that site? The G7 Plus is supposed to receive one major version upgrade (Android 9 to 10) and subsequent security patches for a time.
What's your exact model number? Ie. mine is XT-1965-2
What is the message when you try to check for updates?
If your software channel is RETEU you can download the official firmware from lolinet , then use the lenovo/motorola smart assistant to flash it. It will wipe your device FYI. I've personally never done it so not sure the exact steps, but it can be done.
the LMSA can be found HERE
I've also heard of people putting the firmware file on the root of an SD card, then checking for system update in settings and it can get detected as a legitimate update (as it will be, lolinet files are official firmware dumps).
Also someone else has written an update script in THIS THREAD you can try if the above does not work, however try the official moto route before resorting to that as a last resort (also should/will work however).
Hope this helps.
(also i wouldnt be concerned about it being from Bulgaria. If its a reteu xt1965-3 youll be able to flash the 10 official update)
