hi everyone, I bought the Huawei NM CARD 128gb in sim format to have more storage. but obviously it is not recognized or supported ... therefore notice to those who would like to do the same, on Huawei models according to the opinions it is compatible but Samsung had to block this function. pity
A NM card only works in a huawei phone - there is no expandable memory on the s21 line

Une carte NM ne fonctionne que dans un téléphone Huawei - il n'y a pas de mémoire extensible sur la ligne s21
[/CITATION]
in fact in storage mode with the USB C adapter it is recognized by the pc and by the s21. Then even if the s21 is not intended for the expansion of the storage the sim slot was also affected for the sd-card on the old models, the chip can be read but they blocked this I think in the software .

Hello,
As I said in the subject, my Qtek 2020i breaks the SD cards without any reason. I've changed the phone in the Technical Service, but this new one still breaking the SD cards.
I can use the phone with a SD card inserted for a lot of time, but witout any reason, someday says "SD card has no format, Need to format the card", and after that, the card is dead. I format the SD card, but de phone says the same, and the PC don't recognice it.
Anybody with that problem? Any solution? Maybe upgrading something??
Please help me, I've broken two 1Gb sd cards!!! :'''(
Thanks, David.

hi, i am a new user of xdandroid, i have an HTC Touch Diamond. My problème is there are some applications that need the SD card to be executed but it dosn't detecte it, it shows me a message who said :"Unmounted SD card" or some think like that.
For more information :
-Applications like Gallery,Camera,...etc
-Using the terminal i can see a directory : /sdcard
Any help?
Try a new SD card? Insert it reinset it.
Reset phone. Check pins etc.
I'm starting again this project because the first one was a disaster thanks to "WP Bench"
To all HD7 users who have installed microSD or microSDXC, with capacities of 32 or 64GB only.
This time I chose "AnTuTu Benchmark", I have tested it and the storage test can be executed as a stand alone test.
The only data needed is:
Model: HD7(T9292) or HD7S(T9295)
Brand of the card: Sandisk, Samsung, etc.
microSD model:
Capacity: 32GB or 64GB (redundant? yes, since the model says which capacity is, but this can help newbies to choose
Storage Write: xx.x MB/s
Storage Read: xx.x MB/s
Bootloader version:
ROM used: Stock or Custom (you can include the name if you want to)
For a better selection of data run the test several times (3-5 times), no other programs running, no charger or computer connected; and select the best results, these results can be from different test as my example in the second post: one result was from the 2nd test and the other from the 3rd test...
No, this time I don't want any screenshots, only the results.
Let's do a Database of working cards for the HD7.:highfive:, and this time(I hope) the project won't crash before taking off.
Thanks for your effort and for having the courage to buy and test those cards on this wonderful device.
Example
Model: HD7S (AT&T T9295)
Brand of the card: Sandisk
microSD model: Unknown (stock memory)
Capacity: 16GB
Storage Write: 3.4 MB/s
Storage Read:13.7 MB/s
Bootloader version: 3.3.2250.0
ROM used: Custom, 7.10.8858 Deepshining v8.0
These result will be upgraded as soon my new 64GB card is installed on the phone...
Micro SD card in Mi max 2 not identifying in my Mi max 2 (rom : LineageOS 14.1 for MI MAX 2) - same case with mui stable or beta.
I tried format with EaseUS (FAT) with no success,
I may note that same sd-card is working well with mi max device (no issue at all)
Any help ??
have a backup of its content. Then, format it on the phone by pressing on the "error reading" or "corrupt sd card" message to fix the problem

thank you for reply, but phone does not detect at all, so can not be formated ?
other idea ?
I tested few rom : mui stabe and beta, mokee and lineage one : same result ?
Format SD card in PC,choose FAT32 file system. Check whether SD card works (read/write) in PC. Than put SD card in your phone and try to "see" it.
also try and see if a different microsd works in your mi max 2. might be a problem with the sdcard reader inside the phone...?

I have 64gb Samsung Evo card. Orange
Mi Max 2 doesn't recognize the card. So can not format in it.
But same card gets detected in old Lenovo phone and can format it.
But after format can't detect in Mi Max 2.
But Sandisk cards get detected in Mi Max 2. Samsung doesn't.
Very strange problem.
Tried to format partition but again the same thing. Works with old phones and not with Mi Max 2.

have u tried detection and formatting in twrp?
also, what file system are you using? try fat32 for maximum compatibility and check if it gets detected in MM2.
